I doesn´t make sense to just guess... If we know the unit, we could find something.
This Head Unit not a Topway platform, so password be not 7890, It's look like FYT platform, maybe take some system info can easier to judge

I thought something like that as I saw your desktop with the buttons on top.
We are talking about a Klyde derivative, with some different things inside.
Now it´s clear, this is a RL9Ac, so my expectation was correct.
There are only 2 PINS available in this unit:
7890 is the first one to enter the system information
8861 for deeper settings menue
There is nothing else.
possible that it is so lacking in options? when the px6 is also too full of options to set

This unit is so different from the ones you seem to use...
All options are available with these 2 Pins. There is no need for any other settings page.
Edit:
The RL9Ac are the pendants to the rotatable screen used in Klyde KD-1280, which are delivered with the RL7Ac MCU. The main setup menu is the complete same in both.
There are already some threads in this forum. Just some guys don´t understand this unit and the features with it.
It´s completely different from all other currently available unit.
this radio has two RCA connectors with written VIDEO IN and S. CAM IN in yellow color ..... I wanted to connect a front camera with RCA connector .... but then how do I select it on the screen?

Well... If you want that the front cam act like a dash cam... no, that doesn´t work.
If you want to have the front cam acting as a parking cam, you can activate that in the settings and it would be activated for some sec. after you leave the reverse gear.
no for the dash cam I have already ordered a dash cam to be connected to usb .... I also bought a simple camera to be inserted in the front grill but it is rca .... I do not have the icon on the screen to activate it .... that's the problem
the radio being specific for the captiva is all plug & play .... but there are some scattered wires that the Chinese say should not be connected .... I am attaching photos .... I had number 5 translated and it is "camera power" but I don't know if it refers to a possible front camera to be powered .... the camera behind the machine works without problems and without using any rca connector.
For front camera i have buy this.... I not want that use like dvr or dash camera..... Only parking camera
My car have front and rear parking sensor

Hello guys,
I have a huge deal trying to implement the front camera on Joying JY-UL135.
I have allready the rear RCA camera installed, and it works great with the reverse gear.
I've connected the front camera on the AV-IN, and it works when I use SRC button on AV-IN, but I want it to work as a front camera, so I've activated it in "Factory Settings Menu", but it shows me a yellow ! sign, and no way to make it work.
I've asked Joying, but no good answer. :crying:
Is it possible to make it work somehow? Maybe by flashing with a compatible MCU? which will handle it as Front Camera and not AV-IN?
Thank you,
Cheers,
Front Cam
Did you power the front camera beside's using the RCA.
Damit17, not yet.. this is what i was thinking about... but from 4pda forum, it seems that F-CAM RCA and AV-IN are differnt.
Is it same input? did you tried it?

Thanks marchnz.
My problem is, Joying does not support officially front cam. The unit has only AV-IN.
Would this be because Joying expect the front camera to be a USB camera/DVR as listed in the wiring diagram? The AV input wasnt intended for front camera operation; this is for DVD players, DVB-T TV tuners etc.
Unless there is a way to assign the AV input via [Factory Settings Menu]?

My mtcd unit has a front camera RCA input and an F-CAM power connector. F-CAM app and front camera work out of box with this unit.
If you don't have these connectors and are interested in getting F-CAM to work, follow this thread:

I'd like to hear from anyone who has got a PX6 in their Transporter T5.1.
I bought an "SWC" / "Erisin" PX6 4GB/32GB Android 9 HU to replace my PX5. Fitted it and discovered it was not MTCD/MTCE.
I could not get my reversing camera to work with it*. All I got was a flashing "No video signal" message. I sent the HU back for a refund.
Would still like to get a PX6 but need the reversing camera to work. Would prefer MTCD/MTCE. Anybody on the forum done this?
My van is a 2014 BlueMotion 84kW TDI model. I believe 2014 models are a bit "special" electrically. I'm just trying to gather information about PX6 HUs that might work in my van.
(*Longer version: Tried triggering the HU Reversing function with: just CANBUS; with direct connection to reverse light +ve; with connection to +12v via a relay; and connection to battery +ve. (These last 3 by cutting into the wiring bundle as suggested by Chinese technician) but nothing worked. The (rear facing) camera worked perfectly when plugged into the HU's RCA DVR connector and camera now still works with my re-fitted PX5)
Hi there,
Did you make it work eventually?
Here is my experience with a PX6 on my T5 (2009) - will copy paste a post which I already wrote in another thread:
I recently noticed my PX6 unit doesn't see any of the front / rear cameras. With all wires connected the f-cam app shows the orange triangle (no signal) for both front and back cameras. The same happens if I give a 12v signal to the reverse (pink) wire.
I never got to install the backup camera in my car but I did bench tests with a power source and had the cameras working when I first got the unit. Now, a few months later, the cameras simply don't work
I tested with 2 different cameras and also with a DVD player and none worked.
I even opened the unit and checked the motherboard to see if there is a fried circuit or IC...and saw nothing. The video inputs lead to a IC labeled "FMS6502" and the signal gets to it through a 75ohm resistor and a capacitor which both look okay.
What can it be?
So these being said, I am afraid these units have some hardware issue with the front/rear camera inputs.
PS: on my Opel Combo car I have a PX3 unit with working rear camera !

My reversing camera worked if plugged into the f-cam input, but of course this is useless as you need it to be triggered by going into reverse and f-cam input is not. Atleast it meant I could be sure nothing was wrong with my camera.

I think my PX6 was expecting something special in the trigger signal. 12v DC from the reverse light did not work. Nor did 12v DC straight from the battery via a relay. The PX6 wiring loom lets you choose between CANBUS and non-CANBUS configuration. Neither of these worked. I even hacked the wiring on instructions from Erisin in China with no success (They clearly misunderstood their own wiring diagram though, so I never expected the hacking to work).
So these being said, I am afraid these units have some hardware issue with the front/rear camera inputs.

I think you are right. There is a hardware issue. I have a PX5 which works fine with the reversing camera input but the trigger signal has to be 12v DC direct from the battery via a relay triggered by the reversing light.
It was a shame because the PX6 was faster than my PX5 and the screen was brighter. But not having a reversing camera was a showstopper.
Thanks for you reply!
Regarding activation of the reverse screen, I managed to make good use of the canbus decoder box which they sent me from China (first one didnt work, them they sent me another one which recognizes the CAN messages correctly).
So the problem is that the unit doesn't receive the video signal from the camera, although it gets into reverse mode.
Moreover, the unit doesn't show the camera image by using F-Cam app either...hence I believe it is the video controller (FMS6502) that is faulty. I have to check it with a multimeter based on the specs of it...
These units are atractive but they have serious flaws in their mechanical (cheap plastics, buttons, etc) and electronic design.
Sending the unit to warranty in China is a lost cause too...
Cheers

Yes, it sounds like you have a hardware fault. For me it was some sort of incompatibility in the camera signal/reverse trigger.

My Erisin branded PX6 was very poor quality compared to my Xtrons branded PX5. The connectors and the buttons on the PX6 were very fragile.
I was lucky: the UK importer refunded my money, but only after I told them I would raise a dispute on EBay.
Does anyone have this newer Joying 8.8" widescreen single DIN head unit with the new UI, JY-HOS01N4GS-2 ?
I just got it in and am trying to set it up before I install it in the car. Can it be modded or customized? While this new UI isn't that bad looking, it's a little more modern, but it does have this damn clock on the right side taking up real estate on the screen and I can't get rid of it. I tried using another launcher but the clock still stays there. I also can't get it to connect to my BT keyboard even though it sees it. Nor can I get it to see a universal USB cam which I want to use for a rear view mirror display. I did get it to recognize the universal non-Joying internal sensor TPMS unit I got as well as XTRON front DVR cam (I had to use the program on the XTRON cam to see it though) and an XTRON backup cam.
Can anyone help or point me in the right direction for modding this unit?
Anyone? I did find an app that can see the universal cams now but still need help with the other stuff. Plus I want to change the boot logo to an animated one I made.

I don't have such a unit, so I would not know about your Launcher, but it has been mentioned before in the forum. Please search a bit more.
You can only connect phones and approved devices to your device on BT. See this post and further for a possible modification.
Most universal usb webcams are not supported.

Why the hell do they do that? If I had known that before hand I would've probably went with another unit like an ATOTO or a Dasaita. I went with this one because the widescreen 8.8 IPS display fits my car perfectly plus it has a 4g module built in. (grumble)

Dasaita is microntek. All those units have crippled bluetooth as well. It is something the Chinese do to promote selling their own stuff, I guess.
No idea about Atoto though.
Does your keyboard have a usb-dongle? As far as I understood, keyboards with a usb-dongle do work. All BT equipment relying on the host bluetooth are hit-and-miss, and almost always miss.
No. It uses whatever's is built in to what you want to connect to I guess. I do have a Bluetooth CSR 4.0 dongle and tried using that on it but I can't see where it recognizes it.
The HU sees the keyboard it just won't connect to it. I damn well better not have any problems connecting to my OBDLink MX when I put it in the car. ?
Ok I tried what they said to do in that post but it didn't work. Not sure I did it right. It appears all I had to do was copy those two files in that bluetoothsetting.zip to a clean SD card put it on the HU and reboot it.
If that's what I was supposed to do then no luck. I have read that the firmware on these widescreen units are slightly different than the other Intel Airmont units.
Hi, all. New to the forum.
I have a KUNFINE head-unit which appears to be based on the Topway TS9. It has multiple RCA video inputs, one of which is labeled front camera, but I do not appear to have an app installed that can make use of it.
Ideally, I'd like to install an AHD cam in the front and use that with a DVR software. Searches only turn up USB cam apps, but the vendor advised me that it is possible to use the F-Cam input for that. I just don't know where to get the right app.

Hello,
I got this unit from Amazon:
JOYX - [6G+128G] - Android 12 IPS Car Radio Suitable for Ford Tourneo Transit Custom (2013-2021) - Wireless CarPlay / Android Car / DSP - LED Camera & MIC - 9 Inch 2 Din - DAB SWC WiFi Fast-B oot 360-CameraAnd this accessory:
4-part AHD cameras must be purchased separately, ASIN:B095HQSV15
1) When I connect 1 of the 360 camera, the front one, it shows as if it's two video feed in one. Let's say it's not showing 1 image properly, but lines and what seems to be noise.
What am I supposed to see when connecting 1 camera only, a proper video feed for the front camera?
2) It says AHD camera, on the autoradio there are various "camera settings" about which format is it (NTSC, PAL, and 2 different AHD with different resolutions). I tried we get an ugly signal from all but one AHD (signal not found for the latest). I am supposed to change or it should connect straight of the box?
3) We tried to have the rear camera provided from the head unit box (not the 360 ones), we also did not get signal despite a cabling that works (let's say the power was tested in each cables and it should have been done properly). The camera works on another vehicle. When engaging the rear on the gearbox, we do see the lines but no video signal.
Any idea?
Thanks for any help,

Problem is, the application for 360 crashes every few seconds.
