Joying for Ford Mondeo?

Hi,
I'm looking for some info about "carjoying.com/ in-dash-gps-navigation-system/ford-head-units/joying-best-android-4-4-4-kitkat-head-unit-quad-core-1024-600-double-din-7-inch-gps-navigation-system-16-gb-memory-support-steering-wheel-control-wifi-obd-airpaly.html"
My car is Ford Mondeo Mk4 2007 year. In description is stated that this device is compatible with Mondeo 2007-2010. I contacted with Joying and they sad that this device is NOT compatible with my car. I'm confused.
Did someone use joying device in Mondeo MK4?

Hello
because now most of china OEM DVD Player factories can not resolve the ford Convers +problem ,their canbus can not work with the system ,so steering wheel control ,and convers+ information can not display on the dash ,that's why Joying can not support on your car . If you have Ford car ,when you want to buy a new DVD player ,better give a picture of your dashboard to the sellers ,and consult them about convers +
Hi,
I've sent them a picture of my dashboard and they said their device is not compatible with my car.
Obviously I'm going to buy an Eonon unit. Their devices at least have support for steering wheel.
Thank you for the help.
This video seems to be proof that some unit can talk with Converse+

Resurrect an old thread. Interesting video, we don't know what the unit is or who the supplier is (both of the Canbus and Headunit)? Does anyone know what the current state of affairs is regarding Android 5.1 Headunits and Convers+ ?

I'll second this 'bump' as I too am looking for a solution to get full Convers+ functionality with my Android head unit (Auto-Pumpkin in a Mondeo Mk4) :good:
Seems that the Convers+ issue has not been resolved yet....
on the Joying page there is a blog that clearly states:
And you can installed our Ford Special Car Radio directly in your Ford II (2008-2012), Mondeo (2007-2011), S-MAX (2008-2010). But all of our Android Car Radio cannot support the Ford Converse+ system.
I have seen youtube videos that show otherwise.
So what does support really mean in this case?

I have found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXXcxf1RFqk
The pre-facelift convers+ works with kitkat 4.4.4.
still says no convers+ ( i dont even know what that is), but I know there is a new 2GB unit for the Mondeo:

I got Xtrons pf75fsfa 5.1 unit for my Mondeo mk4 2008. It works with steering wheel buttons, but not with display (i have small display, not converse).
The unit is working surpringsly well - radio reception is good, gps is fast, sound is much better than the oem cd6000.
I have some wishes for the software, but for now is perfect.

Yes. I have canbus box attached to the HU wiring. But phone buttons are not recognized.
No idea where is the problem.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Mond...763400?hash=item28204f5b08:g:ZUYAAOSw-0xYehSK this HU I bought
this buttons doesnt work: http://thumbs.ebaystatic.com/images/g/1LEAAOSwCU1Yq~YI/s-l225.jpg
I think that canbus box doesn't interpret them and they won't work.

Issues with no sound

Hi all, I'm having an issue with an android HU with my 2012 VW GTI. Stock system is a Dynaudio amplified system, which in itself is pretty similar to a aftermarket amplified system. My issue is that by default the internal amplifier on the HU is stuck at 0 volume, I have to manually go in and change it to around 13-15 volume for it to actually have any meaningful sound output. Usually when I get in the car, the car set app is open so I can just change it quickly and then have Zlink automatically open.

Full stack Bluetooth

I have bought a PX6 and A FYT Meekde 700 unit. Neither have been able to connect to my standalone ECUs Bluetooth module. I read somewhere on here most devices do not support full stack Bluetooth. I will admit the fine inter-workings of Bluetooth are outside my wheelhouse. I have a syvecs ecu and would like to be able to display my cars information through their app onto my headunit. I can connect to the device via phone and laptop no issues.
Any suggestions? Is there a android headunit that may work?
Edited for MCU versions
FYT Medeke 700 is MCU Version 2021.10.09 10:12:29 YIN_53_L6315_G23P48F64_E60_V1.0
PX6 is RK3386 MTCE_AW_v3.78_1
Nobody knows what a px6 and mekede is.
Postt android system info including mcu versions

@marchnz You originally suggested to me a FYT would solve the problem. Here
Unit seems to function overall better in most ways. Though using the android headunit along with the Syvecs app was the sole reason for the purchase.

That's odd, I even have my valentine one working via BLE.
Yeah im not sure what the cause could be. The headunits wont connect to it at all. No issue connecting to any other device i have tried.(Android tablet, Phones, Ipad) everything else works flawlessly.
Pondering dividing down carputer/tablet headunit install. Just dont want to lose other functionality like steering wheel controls.
Any insight or testing that can help narrow down a solution please let me know. Willing to pay for a solution at this point.

I will not be the one delivering any solution, but as you should have the unit rooted, have you ever pulled the logs while trying to connect? Search for Logcat extreme and set the log level to Debug. May be you can find the issue in there.
I haven't yet. I will

Have a look at the RealDash app for Android, can work better for you than the Syvecs one.

This actually could work just need to set up the xml file. And see what adapter real dash needs. I will have to do some more research but looks promising so far. Thank you very much.
The xml file is straightforward to do.
Canbus adapter that looks like this one work well.

Loss of reversing beeps with Android PX6

Hello,
By installing a PX6 car radio on a 2006 Peugeot 407 coupé, I lost the following functions; Back-up beep forward and Back-up beep back.
The reversing beeps are materialized by a drawing of the car on the screen and green, yellow and red lines depending on the distance from the obstacle. (cf attachments)
Is my CANBUS system well suited/adapted to the car?
Is it possible to reprogram it?
Do you have any other solutions to offer.
Thanking you in advance for your help.

Finding the exact type of head unit, placing post in correct forum, getting question exposure to users of similar units who might know menu structure or provide assistance.
Dumping a question in a forum is likely to result in zero responses, you may as well post the question on a dating site
It seems the post was place in the correct forum, in "Head Units",
but Thks for the moral lesson, it's always a pleasure.
this will help to solve my problem for sure.
you'll find the new post in the right category i hope...
