Does the Nothing Phone 1 support AR. I'm trying to play something like Pokemon Go but the AR doesn't work and the pogo app continues every time to tell me I need to install the latest ARCore from google which I have. I'm beginning to think it's just not supported. Anyone else get pogo working without being asked to install ARcore every time you try to catch a Pokemon?

Hi.
I use Google fit as I have a LG watch r (not compatable with a health)
I've read flashed a new rom today (alliance) and play store is now stating not compatible with the note 4.
Is any one else having this issue, I've now tried a couple of bob4 roms now with no joy.
I've tried a good google to see if there wa's any news, nothing.
Tried clearing cache, Un installing and related installing, pushed fit apk, just asks to update constantly.
Is this something new with Google?
Same problem for me, did you solve it?
Same here. Had to uninstall after Stock ROM Upgrade to Lollipop. When trying to reinstall showing up as not compatible.
And yes, I can sign that it isn't compatible. Heart rate sensor more or less on all the time e.g. in pocket (everytime it was covered) therefore battery dying quick as hell.
I have strange problem recently. I have wifi at home, it works fine, but in some games it says that there's no connection to the store or there's a problem with my internet (depends on the game) while in the same time I am chatting with someone through messenger or viber or whatever, I can open facebook, the store itself, etc. Why is that? Some games are ok but in others, for example Angry Birds Transformers, it always says that. I tried that remove updates option for the GStore app but it didn't fixed a thing. My phone is with stock kernel, stock LP 5.1 rom but its rooted and I have lucky patcher installed. Do you guys think its because of one of those two? I know there are games who detect "hacking" tools such as the lucky patcher but they just say it and dont boot at all. It seems like thats not the case here.
Has anybody else experienced problems with updating/installing apps recently? I first noticed when I couldn't install anything from Underground. Then I found that the Play Store wouldn't install or update, either. I have:
1. Cleared cache/data/updates from play store and play services, which works for about two minutes each time I clear data from play services.
2. Completed hard (factory) reset, after which it updated apps and then promptly started doing the same thing.
3. Used the trick where I remove play store from the recent apps list, which works sometimes.
If I can find apks, they will will install and function, though sometimes the install comes with an error message. No app will download and then install. If I install from the play store website, the website thinks it is installed, but it doesn't get to the phone.
Oddest part? Galaxy apps works perfectly.
If it matters, it's an Exynos S7 Edge.
#1 above makes me think that the issue is from a recent play services update, and perhaps my problem will clear after the next play services update. My phone is perfectly usable, except for that updating thing.
Yep, same problem. Except I have the Snapdragon variant on Verizon. I've gone through all the usual wiping of caches, factory reset, etc. Same conclusion: I believe it to be a play store issue. Except I know my play store has updated versions at least 2 times since the problem started with no improvement though. Sometimes I have to reboot before the apps will finish installing.
Funny thing is, I was able to install XDA Labs with no problem sideloaded, while Play store was still hanging with a normal update. So I definitely don't believe it to be a Samsung issue anyway.
Hope someone finds a solution, it is annoying...
Has anyone else noticed that their device certification in the Play Store suddenly shows "Uncertified"? My tablet is totally stock, never tried to root or unlock the bootloader. I just noticed that I couldn't download or update any apps, then suddenly saw this.
Any ideas about what's going on?
Fix
I'm not sure about the "Uncertified" status because I never checked, but I suspect you are having the same issue many other owners have after updating to 7.1.1. I had the problem as well, in which I could not update or download any apps in the Play Store. I would recommend looking at this thread: httpsCOLONSLASHSLASHforums.lenovoDOTcom/t5/Yoga-Book-Android/Lenovo-Yoga-Book-Android-Nougat-Breaks-Google-Play-App-Store/m-p/3834779#M466. (Replace the capitalized words with the corresponding symbols because I'm too new to post external links. The solution it lists about disabling adminstrators and removing VPN's and then restarting did not work for me initially. I ended up doing a factory reset, which solved the problem for a short time. Once it came back the solution from the thread fixed it and I haven't had an issue since.
It's absolutely sickening! Since weeks Google Services stuck on my both devices (X90F and X90L) I tried all the suggestions (factory reset and so on ...) given at this thread:
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Yoga-B...aks-Google-Play-App-Store/td-p/3813570/page/3
Nothing works permanently and now, suddenly Play Store says: "Device not certified" . Both devices are not rooted and System-Build is LenovoYB1-X90L_100081_171013 / LenovoYB1-X90F_100083_171013
Turning on battery saver seems to be a viable workaround.

Not really
Btw I registered the uncertified devices now at https://www.google.com/android/uncertified/. But nothing changed in a positive way. On X90F sometimes over night play store runs and apps were updated. With X90F I always I have to stop play services and play store, delete cache and play store data. Then, after restart apps were updated too.
On both devices are running the identical apps and on my old Nexus7 (LineageOS Android 7.1.2) with same apps, activated builtin administrators and AdGuard-VPN all works flawlessly :good:
I think Lenovo urgently needs to deliver an update to get the devices recertified and pass the Android compatibility test.
Encountered the same. Is there still no fix or update from Lenovo for that?
I attempted to use AR but every app I have installed keeps telling me the OnePlus 8 Pro it is not supported. I have uninstalled arcore, I have also updated arcore to the latest version. I keep being told arcore is not functioning and in other apps I keep getting told the device is not supported.
I've also been experiencing issues with ARCore on my OnePlus 8 Pro, but not exactly the same as you describe it. On my OnePlus 8 Pro, ARCore apps launch fine and they detect my device is ARCore compatible, then it asks me to move my hand around to scan the surroundings. I do this, but my device just stays in this state forever. I have tried it in a really big room, moved my hand, even walked around a bit, but nothing. The device just keeps telling me to move my hand around. This happens on every ARCore app I've tried. I have not been able to successfully see an AR object on my OnePlus 8 Pro

What you describe is exactly what would happen when I tried this on the OP7P. Haven't even bothered with this phone. Just figured it would be something I never have.

This is really disappointing to hear! I was really hoping this ARCore issue was just a software bug that they would fix soon. But since you say it's been an issue since the OnePlus 7 Pro, I don't really have much hope for a fix now

I just upgraded my OnePlus 8 Pro to OxygenOS 10.5.9 European version (IN11BA) and ARCore is now working perfectly on my phone! It starts up almost instantly like it asks me to move my hand around for like 1 or 2 seconds max and then goes into AR mode and displays AR objects

What AR app works for you? I'm on the same firmware ( also EU model ) and no AR app will work for me. Maybe you can point me in the right direction?
Yesterday after 10.5.9 update AR worked for me but today It doesn't work. I noticed AR is working only soon after reboot.

Yep, works just after reboot but later it doesn't. Then needs a new reboot. Must be something related to battery saving or something.
Same thing happened to me...
Take a look at my issue here and how I 'solved' it.. https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-8-pro/help/augmented-reality-problem-bug-t4109129
