Does anyone know a way to control the glyphs with Tasker? I already can toggle the Music virtualization, usefil to activate it for example with Spotify. But it would be awesome to control the glyphs separately.
Here you can find it

Exactly what i wished. Thank you.
Does anyone know if I put this in a profile that has "restore settings" set to true it will turn on the glyph lights again when exiting the profile?

Is there a program that will do what the title of the thread suggests? That is, I want to be able to force whatever screen is currently displayed to rotate to landscape when I press the multimedia button. I do not want any auto-rotation. I want to be able to completely control when the screen rotates.
You can do it under the buttons menu in settings
I have mine set as 'Okay'

I'm sorry but I don't see that option. When I select Buttons -- Multimedia Key it only allows me to assign a program to opne or some simple commands such as <OK/Close>, <Context Menu>, <Scroll> etc.

Hey you are welcome! I tried it on mine to and like it well.
Hey guys,
Looking to change the default action when docked, currently I've set it to daydream which works fine but would like to set it up to play TuneIn from time to time. Is there a specific app in charge of the dock which I need to reset or is it a daydream setting?
I've tried turning daydream off but that didn't change anything...

You'll wanna check out the Tasker app, as well as the tutorial: pocketablesDOTcom/tag/beginners-guide-to-tasker.
Note: I can't post links yet, so replace the "DOT" with a "." :highfive:
Not really looking for a third party app, just a way to change the default setting
Hi,
I had different tasker rules for setting my mobile to mute at work and so on.
But after upgrading to 3.5.5 and now 3.5.6 the tasker rules won't work. I think the Oxygen overrides it by the alarm slider.
Is there any possibility that it work again?
Thanks.

I have the same problems. Currently I havent been able to find a sollution, despite using a few hours yesterday. It might be possible if you can update "secure settings" (not the app), which is possible using a plugin (App: SecureTask).

It's okay, do you maybe think it's possible to set the phone to vibrate only when in priority mode. With the new update they changed it so that you can't mute the volume anymore. I want mute to be mute and middle to be vibrate. I know how to make a task work with tasker but I can't override the volume.

Perhaps by changing notification sound and ringtone to "Silent" in Priority, and back again in "All". - Alternatively use "none" option, and in Tasker manually add a vibration pattern... both options has its drawbacks...
My setup. At work (connected at wifi), change "Location" variable to work. When Location variable ="work" + weekday + time (8-17), set "do not disturb" to priority. -
Same at home, during night time.
Furhter to this, I read the interrupt value in a seperate job, and adjust various sound values accordinly and add a small 0,2 sec vibration, just so I feel that my phone goes to vibrate when at work.
I rarely use the slider on the phone.
did you restore apps with titanium backup? then try renstaling app
Many people like me are used to easily change the volume profile from Normal to Silent in the quick toggles menu on top. However this is my first Google phone and I've noticed that this option is missing. Instead we're supposed to use Do Not Disturb which is not the same thing.
Other threads suggested using a home screen widget which does the trick but it's still not very convenient as you have to unlock the phone to click it.
After I've spent some time looking and testing apps from Google Play store I found what we need! It's called "Ringer Modes - Quick Tile" and it works as intended. Don't forget to open it after the installation and to give it the required permission.
Google Play store link
P.S. Don't forget to check the attached screenshots.
Thanks, this seems ideal, this should be built into the OS.
Thanks. Very useful
Thank you. Very useful

The profiles are fixed:
Normal - sound & vibration
Vibrate - vibration only
Silent - sound off & vibration off
For widget, what would be your recommendation?
I like something which is already available in the home screen.

I've tried several widgets but only one of them worked properly every time. It's called Sound Mode Toggle Widget:

Thanks for sharing!
Is there a way to do this? In short, I want my ringtone lower and my notifications higher. Is there a magisk module or something for this on OOS? Thanks!
I know using Tasker you can set them separately but I am not sure if the setting will stick.

No i dont think u can do that with tasker if the OS is not supporting. If you know a way that we can do this in Tasker in OOS can u please share it. It would be a great help.
Like I said, you can set them separately but I don't know if the setting sticks. I can't test this as I am in the office currently.
Check my screenshot, you can add the action to set each one.

thanx for the link :good: I've tried it, unfortunately won't support our mobile's alert slider...my phone will ring even when switched to mute and yes, i've checked all the necessary permissions and settings...
Oh, I don't use the slider, so it isn't an issue. I just use the silent tile and nightly quiet schedule when needed. Slider is a cool feature, but I just got used to never using one on any phone and rely on the other method to silent the phone.
Just odd how there is no separate ring/notification like their used to be. Guess Samsung and maybe others people complain about this lack of obvious feature.
