Hey, so I bought this ainavi head unit (https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/1005002649144963.html) and so far I've been happy with it, it came with canbus box and reverse camera. So I got the idea to develop a app that could read some of the values from canbus and send them to my server for logging and what not. The thing Is I don't really know where to start, from what I've seen around here there are different types of head units (FYT, MTCB, MTCD) so my first question is how can I know what type my unit is? I've left an attachment with the info screen on the unit. Another thing, song names and radio station names dont show up on the info screen on the gauge cluster so my second question is, can it be done? I've seen a guy that did it with tasker and then "disaperared". Any help provided would be much appreciated . Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I tried looking for a service that interfaced with canbus and could't find anything that looked like it

Thanks, despite the units being very similar the processor seems different in all models, plus their factory menus offer a lot more options

Hi Man!
I bought the same unit, but regret that I took the 2gb+32gb version. Navigation apps are laggy and freezes, there is a new update available from the seller, it's a very nice upgrade, ask them to send you via mail, how is your unit working in terms of smoothness and navigation, did you stick the GPS receiver under your windshield ?

Hey, I just tucked the gps and cellular antenas behind the unit, not glued or anything. Reception has been great and has worked flawlessly for a year (I got the 4gb+64gb version). Could you post images of the new interface you got?

But if you are having gps/4g reception issues I advise you to mount the antenas behind the A pillar of your glovebox side (easier to route wires)
Is it because of the low ram memory? The salesman told me not to worry because it had a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core chip at 1.8ghz, now I'm sure I should have just gotten at least the 4gb version, would have been worth the extra $50, you even have a 6gb/128gb version, I want to know how I can root this unit so that I can overclock the chip above 2ghz, btw I'm going to take some pictures for you, because it looks really nice!
You perform the update via the USB connection, it's about 2,6gb large file.

If I were you I wouldn't overclock the chip. You problem is with your low ram amount. I'm running stock cpu speed and everything works smoothly. Increasing the cpu freequency would only make your cpu run hotter and reduce it's lifespan. with 4gb of ram, waze and radio open I get around 52% of ram usage so yeah. Maybe sell your unit for the 4/6gb ram version
I'm testing the GPS on top of the dash, let's see what comes out
Yeah GPS is working fine now, the placement seems very important.

I like the old interface more, that's too futuristic for me haha. for gps antena placement I sugest you put in behind that panel, not to hard to take off and it's easy to route the wires. Just google "golf mk5(from what it seems) A pillar removal" and you will find plenty of videos. I think it's woth it for the stock look without any antenas in sight

Are they any good? The cheaper one doesn't mention the OS, while the more expensive one is stuck on 4.4.4 .
The seller also charges for map updates, so I'm curious as to what format it uses.
Any other brands I should consider? I'm worried that these Chinese units might get damaged during the summer. I keep my car outdoors, so it does get pretty hot.
I'm in Canada, so shipping is expensive (unless its an amazing deal, then I'll just drive over and install in the states)
TIA
The cheaper one is using Windows CE 6.0. It says so in the description. I'm no big fan of WinBlows, and I doubt there's a custom ROM for it.
The more expensive one is Android 4.4.4, but the thing I find disconcerting about it is the CPU says AC8722 CPU, of which I can't find any information on. If that isn't really a RockChip CPU, you probably won't be able to put a custom ROM on there.

Here’s a more expensive Joying car radio, with your choice of android 4.4 or android 5.1: https://www.amazon.com/1024x600-Resolution-Navigation-Capacitive-bluetooth/dp/B00YEHHCX8/
You’d be able to get a custom ROM for this, which means you to have ad blocking built into the system, which means he wouldn’t be staring advertisements while on the road. The screen resolution is also very good.

Is the f/w difference the only thing separating the two radios?Since I can mod it, there's no point in getting the 5.0 right?
The title mentions parking sensor so I'm guessing that's the same as a backup cam? (doesn't look like it's included so I want to double check before I order one)
None of the radios seem to mention this, but does the OS automatically switch to camera view when you shift your car into reverse?
Many of the reviewers complained about no Bluetooth meta data, Bluetooth and radio static, glare (is there a matte screen protector? ), white noise when the unit is on but not doing anything, and constant google play services errors
Most of this can be fixed with a custom rom, but the radio static, and Bluetooth noise?
Roy360 said:

Both of the head units listed in that Amazon listing are the newer, faster RK3188 CPU, and the screen resolution is the same for both of them, so overall I would say they are quite identical.
All of the stereos at this link have roughly the same specifications for CPU, with the only difference being operating system. https://www.carjoying.com/quad-core-android-car-radio/quad-core-vw-android-car-radio.html
However, when you buy one, the older android 4.4.4 may be a MTCB and the Android 5.1 may be a MTCD type, which has slightly newer motherboard and some connections. You won’t know for sure until you buy one, but you may do well to check the Joying forum you find on their homepage.

I presume “parking sensor” to be a bad translation for backup camera. I can’t find any information on that there.
However, if you look here: http://www.eonon.com/Car-GPS/Other-GPS-Navigation/GM5153.html it mentions backup sensor integration, with the caveat that you must have a vehicle which already has a backup sensor built into the car. This also requires can bus integration between the radio and the car, so you will need a can bus connector.
If you don’t have a backup sensor built into your car, you may be out of luck.
If you don’t have a backup camera and you want one installed, I would suggest this: https://www.amazon.com/Esky-Viewing-Universal-License-Camera/dp/B00GMC8QXI/
I have two of these on two different vehicles, the mounting of them keeps it centered on the back of the vehicle, and it works well in low light conditions. In other words, it has the capability of infrared pickups on the camera sensor.
As I found out the hard way, you can pretty much forget integration with an OEM backup camera that is already on your vehicle, if it is a can bus camera. If it is a regular analog camera, you may be able to get a custom wiring harness to integrate with it.
Otherwise, you’re better off simply installing a new backup camera like I listed above. It’s cheaper that way than to get a digital signal harness.

Yes, provided you connect the proper wire on the harness to the wire on your car that signals when you shift into reverse. Even if the radio is off, after a second or two the screen should come on and you should see the rear view through your rearview camera.

Also, if you want something perhaps a little better, I would suggest this: http://www.autopumpkin.com/car-dvd-...ii-3g-wifi-usb-sd-steering-wheel-control.html
This is the same good resolution which we see on the Joying units, but it has a faster PX3 CPU. I don’t think there is anything in the way of a custom ROM for PX3 CPU’s right now, but if you wait a bit it may become available. It depends on what your priorities are.

Edit: These radios ship with a clear screen protector on them. Take that off and the glare goes down a bit. Otherwise, you are limited to putting a window tint visor and/or window tinting on your car to cut down incoming light. It works.
Look at the pumpkin models above, the Eonon models as well, and compare and contrast with these below.

Then check reviews here on this forum and on the forums for those manufacturers (or resellers, really) to see if you can get an idea as to which models have the least amount of problems. Unfortunately I can't comment on those since I can't find anything on them either. Bluetooth on these units works and sounds good, and mates up okay with CyanogenMod. Radio sounds good as well, although I don't use it. The Malaysk ROM comes with PC Radio app built in, so you can stream music from anywhere on the internet; it's like a free version of Sirius satellite radio.
I'd suggest avoiding a radio which has no knob, only touch-screen or buttons, as these are less ergonomic and require more time to work than a radio with a knob. You also have to take your eyes off the road to look at where you are touching on the screen, (leaving aside steering wheel radio switches.)
It's your call.

I have a Chinese unit and used it in summer while car is parked outdoor, have not had any "damage" thankfully. Entire unit with shipping will cost around 400 CDN on most units from China plus there could be $30 for DHL. Not sure how much it will be from USA but we pay Tax on items coming from states.

Amazon. If I had any issues with it at all, I would have simply boxed it back up and sent it back, no worries.
Ali Express is only to be used for cheap products that you can afford to dispose of if they don't work, like some clothes or cheap USB cables. I'd never consider buying a phone, tablet, computer, set-top box or even a stereo. The logistics and other headaches surrounding refunds are too numerous to consider.
So i have posted several times on this board about my various Joying units, and I have a thread about my Seicane:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...cane-10-1-inch-android-6-0-head-unit-t3656383
However it lacked the Dormancy that Joying had and the sound wasn't great on it. So I decided to pick up a @hotaudio unit, in particular this one:
Dasaita 10.2" Android 6.0 Car GPS Player for Jeep Wrangler
I got it in the mail on Tuesday, I made an unboxing video here:
https://youtu.be/z1v2t8cSNvc
I also have it installed, that video isn't up yet. But so far so good, it seems to take most of the best features of the Joying and Seicane and mesh them together. It is also a PX5 MTCD, so it has a lot of MTCD like features that my original Joying had, so it is like a bit of nostalgia for me. However thanks to the Octacore and 2GB of RAM, it doesn't have the slowness of my original 1GB of RAM Joying unit.
How is the fit and finish of this unit when installed? I have the Joying 6.2 2GB Sofia unit and love it. Sounds WAYYYY better than that stock crap I had. Interested in this one though. Does it work with all apps, most importantly waze? One more thing where did you order it from? Ebay?
it fits better than the Seicane model I had previously. The Seicane seemed to look spot on color-wise, but the Hot Audio is a smidgen darker than the other plastic. However the Hot Audio is also harder than the Seicane, so it installs easier. Still sucks to install, but not as bad as the Seicane.
So i definitely like it better than the Seicane, and it looks much better than the Joying. I have over a year experience with Joying, so I'm waiting to see how the Hot Audio turns out.
So far, I'm loving it, everything works like a champ, Waze included. The sound quality is top notch, maybe even better than Joying
Install video is up
Thanks for the video.
My unit comes in Tuesday.
My Car is a 2008 civic SI.
The Hu is not compatible with the stock amplifier. I'll need to use a metra 70-1722 as the middle man and figure out how to integrate the stock amp.

Also I don't have a manual lol. I rememebr you getting a manual when u opened yours right?

I know you guys haven't really had a long enough time to test the features of this unit.. but i'm in the market as a first time android head unit owner and was considering the joying (JY-UM135N2, 2 gb, sofia), but also would consider others.. is the Daisaita worth looking at?
Not sure what the price of the unit is since when I click the "buy now" link.. nothing opens. Hah.
Thanks!
You have to buy from eBay or Aliexpress.
I have both the Joying and the Dasaita.
If Dasaita can fix this one bug, then it is one to go for.
Joying has always been a good thing for me
Here is the hidden MicroSD card
Here is a video about wiring a PAC harness to a Joying.
The same principles would apply to Seicane or Dasaita. And if the default harness doesn't work with the Alpine and/or Infiniti, it will definitely work with a PAC.
Does this thing support HD Radio, by the way? I was looking into getting the universal version (Nissan I think is the universal one), but I don't see any mention of it being supported.

I am not a great reference here, I almost never get phone calls. Pretty much all of my calls are just to test to make sure it works.
However they seemed fine
Here is a video about installing and using MtcdTools on my Dasaita Hot Audio V600
Hello All, I have been with XDA some time, however dont have access to old email address to reset password, so guess ill start again!
Anyways - I have been using an IAuch Ford specific headunit (seems to be basically the Joying Sofia unit with a custom fascia). Its been great, however with only 1gb ram and stuck to android 5.1 (as its custom reseller and not Joying im not risking flashing a new ROM) its starting to feel a little slow. Plus a lot of screen real estate is used for the "Ford Aesthetic" and never used DVD drive slot.
I have been reading XDA a lot the last few weeks (and trying to sign in!) to make a decision on a unit. As is usually the case i have gone for a unit i cant find any info on here!!
So i thought i would share, ill add some unboxing, install and setup vids and pics along with findings in this thread in case anyone gives a hoot
Also any thoughts and opinions greatly appreciated:
Xtrons TE103AP
Screen: 10.1 - 1024*600 (nice and rectangular with a good surround)
CPU - PX5 Octacore (A53)
RAM: 4GB
ROM: 32GB
DVD: Yes, Behind Screen.
Android: 8.0
Amp chip: TDA7851 (confirmed by Xtrons cust services)
Cant add a link seeing as im a newbie however search the Xtrons site for TE103AP if you want more details.
Unit should arrive within the next week.

Extremely excited to get your review on this. I wish they made this model a little cheaper without DVD but I'm looking at the same unit. I was looking at the TR100 but the extra RAM is tempting. Where did you end up ordering from? Ebay is the cheapest place I've found.

I ordered directly from x-trons website xtrons.co.uk. it cost £299 delivered. I ordered it yesterday and it has been delivered to my click and collect point today so pretty impressed so far. Now just to hope it is the right item and all that jazz.
Back-up Camera
I am considering this exact model so any advice once you have it installed would be appreciated. I am especially curious if your oem back-up camera works with it (if you have one) or if you had to change it.

Yea it's $399 USD from their site. One rave review from someone on this site and that's probably enough for me to bite the bullet! I think i'm sold on a 10.1" screen. Have you had one before? If so, do you feel like once going to 10.1" you'd never want to go back to 7"?
Edit: Crap...now the $329 ones are sold out one ebay
I have this one guys!!!!!! I've had it for about a month and its bad ass. A month before that I bought a eonon 10.1 unit with no DVD and only 2 gb of ram. And it had a allwinner t8 cpu. Then i saw this xtrons one and was pissed I bought the eonon one. But i bit the bullet and bought this one too. in mho this one is better but I didn't benchmark anything so it's just me. My only grip is I wish the screen was brighter. I found a spot in the setting to adjust it a little higher so I'm happy. If anyone has any questions hit me up. I got mine of eBay. Payed 329 i think. And I'm running nova launcher as my home cause I didnt like the stock launcher.

I am looking for a root version of the firmware if anyone has info on that.
I was also wondering to buy the TE103AP.
You guys who have it. How is it performing? How is waze and Google maps running on it?
The delivery time and service from x-trons was impressive. Ordered one afternoon, delivered following day for £299. Item packaged well and no issues when unboxing.
My previous unit was an Iauch ford specific android unit which meant i had some faff with getting ford harness and cutting and rewiring my steering controls however a handy vid on XDA/Youtube made this simple enough.
Sat-Nav/GPS, DAB, OBD, Steering Wheel are all working. The screen quality seems reasonable enough for the price and is more responsive than my previous unit. Newer android means google maps "floats" above other apps when navigating which is great. Overall happy with the unit and everything is working as it should.
Played around with the settings and launchers to find how i like everything - its android so everyone will have personal preference.
My only issue - and its actually a big one - is the distance this device sticks out from the dash. The mechanism to attach the screen is far chunkier than it needs to be, giving a good inch clearance between the dash and the device. It almost obstructs my gear stick.
Im going to see if there is anyway to fix the main unit further into the dash, so as to resolve this, and will try and get some photos later. This was my apprehension with these 10.1 devices, but none of the youtube videos really showed it very well - they are all front on videos.

Thinking about getting this unit but also hate how far it sticks out. It is $329.99 on amazon with 2 reviews. Was thinking about Joying with all of the videos and support. But this unit has alot to offer for the price.
Pics pics pics please
I just bought this unit also, on a whim, because nit was the last one in stock! Am also curious how far this thing is going to stick out, wondering if I should of just got the 7 inch. Excited for your video
I must say I was quite excited to find this thread! I bought this unit about a month ago through Amazon for $329. I also recently purchased a 2013 Honda Crosstour EX which is also an oddball as far as finding technical info is concerned. Even XTRONS forum "bbs.xtrons.com" is quite thin on support. (seems as if only one guy is managing it). I emailed a couple questions to XTRONS which responded slow and not to helpful. The good news is, based on my experience after firing up this baby, the Installation problems I experienced should minimize with maturity.
I have some pics but don't know the best way to upload them. Advice, please?
I’ve got a long way to go before I consider the installation complete, but the major hurdles have been overcome and I’m pretty happy with the unit so far. Using the original Honda premium audio speakers and amplifier, the TE103AP sounds great! Bluetooth audio quality is okay for now but I haven’t yet figured out how to wire in the 2 overhead Honda microphones. The 10”, adjustable screen is what I wanted, however, the TFT display quality is OK but an IPS panel, with antiglare would “hit it out of the park”. It is easily removable and connected via a ribbon cable (like the old SCSI cables). I’m hoping to later upgrade the screen if possible. I haven’t had success wiring in the OEM backup camera yet. Again, this due to the scarcity of wiring diagrams for my Crosstour which is essentially 2012 accord. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Google maps works perfectly through the head unit when tethered to my Galaxy S5. I haven’t tinkered with the built-in satellite capability (low on priorities). I haven’t tried using the DVD player yet (not important). High on my priority list was getting my phone recorder app to work (Total Recall by killer mobile). So far it’s not recording anything. I contacted killer mobile for advice. They responded quickly and professionally. They said: “I suggest ensuring you have the latest version of Total Recall installed on your Device and leave the default recording setting or MIC or Root recording (if you're rooted). If that doesn't work, then unfortunately this particular device just won't support it.” The question of how to root the TE103, brought me to XDA developers forum and join. I added an extra video monitor to take the place of the original radio display/clock display. Not sure exactly how it’s going to tie into my video system, but it’s there for when I add front and side cameras. You can see in one of the photos a USB web camera with night vision being tested. I also added a Bluetooth OBDII reader which is compatible with the “Torque” app. I had to order a universal steering wheel control interface because the TE103 controls are analog. (The steering wheel signal from the Honda is CAN bus)
I have pics but being a newbie to forums, what's the "secret handshake" I need to do it?
I had links as well, but being a newbie...
I’m glad I did purchase it when I did because it immediately became unavailable on Amazon and I see the price jumped up about $70 on XTRONS.com. I was astonished at how quickly it arrived. I ordered it 2/25/18, Amazon estimated it would arrive 3/6/18 to 3/14/18. It was shipped from Hong Kong 2/26/18 and It actually arrived at my house on 2/27/18!
I now run my own business solving technical problems for people with disabilities. I’m outfitting my car to be a mobile office. I set up a surface Pro docking station realizing the utility of adding an android solution. Basically, I am a stubborn old DIY guy who enjoys a challenge and haven’t professionally installed a car stereo since the early 80s when I was a Porsche mechanic. It’s been was quite a learning curve and I’ll share is much as I have time for. If anyone is installing this unit in a 2010 - 2014 Honda Accord, let’s talk. (Another cross tour owner would be crazy lucky) I’m looking forward to contributing to this thread and community!
Hey guys, I ordered this exact unit from Amazon two days ago and it just delivered. I was very impressed how fast it got to Miami from HongKong! Kudos to Xtrons for that. Anyway, I'm glad I did because it immediately went out of stock after my purchase. I should have some free time on Wednesday to install it and I'll definitely do an unboxing and installation video to show everyone how it looks, as info on this seemingly promising head unit is hard to find on the web.
Cheers!
I'm on my second unit in three years. My current one is a AutoPumpkin generic double-din.
Android 8.0
px5
MTCE_KLD_V2.94e_1
8 core 64-bit CPU Coretex-A53 @ 1.5G

It's okay, I suppose, but it gets super sluggish when I run Google Maps. It's frustrating.
I think it cost me around $350. I'd gladly pay upwards of $1,000 if there was a fast, quality unit available.
Is there anything I can do to upgrade, like I would a laptop or desktop PC?
Seen some larger size GB, but these are nice.
I'm currently shopping for a car stereo, and this is one I'm looking into, anybody have some comments as to another better or suggested.

I have the Atoto albeit with a smaller screen but I believe the same specs. I like the unit but it's not super fast. Atoto has all of their units at Android 6.0 because they feel it is the most stable OS. I am happy with mine but they aren't easy to root. If you just want a unit that for the most part works (including the TPMS), they are great but they aren't speed demons.

I would suggest you run a speedtest on your internet connection. Let's just say that the WiFi antenna on some of those HU is next to useless. I ripped off the short piece of wire they called an antenna on mine and replaced it with a real antenna I took off an old router. The extra length of cable allowed me to place the antenna above the HU instead of behind.
To answer your question the fastest HU I've seen so far would have to be ones based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 645 but I've only seen them for BMW.
Hey everyone! Hope I'm not making any mistakes here, I'm very new to this section and to the AA world, so apologies in advance if this is the wrong section!
I've set my eyes on this HU: the Teyes CC2. They have a lot of sales but for some reason, I find very little on Google about these units.
Does anybody here have one and know if it supports HeadUnit Reloaded please?
Thanks a lot!
Well, i'm also looking about more information about that head unit on XDA. It seems to be very popular in Russia and Vietnam, you can find a lot of videos on YouTube about it, and rarely some in English from a guy in the United states that installed a CC2 head unit in his Jeep.
3 days ago, i posted some questions but didn't get any response to my following questions... @ the people who have this head unit, how good is Teyes CC2 head unit? What are the pros and cons of this device? Does the ventilator cool indeed the CPU if you put it to the test with An tutu or another test, and how good is the performance of this SC 9853 cpu from Intel, compared to the PX 5 and 6? How's the customer support if there is a problem? Does this IPS screen influences the DAB+ reception if you set the screen brightness on high or low? I have an external DAB+ antenna and if i put my screen brightness on his lowest, i got an much better DAB+ reception with my current head unit (the screen causes a lot of electromagnetic interference (EMI) that blocks the DAB+ signals . Is this also the case with this head unit? that's a lot of questions, but i wanted to know first handed from people who own a Teyes CC2 head unit.
I hope someone with a Teyes CC2 will respond to this thread.
Same here!
You might find this review quite interesting, it's in Russian but not a problem with Chrome's translator. Also you can post questions in the comments and the author seems to speak very good English: http://buyandtell.net/teyes-s-pro-2gb-ram-32gb-rom-for-renault-megane-2/
I really like the unit and based on that review it's really powerful for the price, but I do not want to spend 250 Euro on Aliexpress before I know for certain if HeadUnit reloaded will work on it or not

I read the review, a real deal-breaker is the fact that the there is no micro SD card slot and no connection for an external mic, also the fan on the back of the head unit would be a bit loud, but that's not real a problem. If Teyes want me to buy the head unit, they have to offer a micro sd card slot and a connection for a external mic in the hu. So i will wait for the CC3 and hope it will offer the things i miss in the CC2.
I see your point, fair enough!
My opinion about your points:
- Mic: the internal one seems to get the job done, but I get that you might want a higher quality one
- Fan: he says you can only hear it when the car is off, not a deal-breaker for me but indeed a bit annoying.
- MicroSD: why not just use a usb stick instead? Just spitballing here, but maybe a usb to MicroSD adaptor would work too?
It's annoying and means that i always have to disconnect one of this 3 dongles
1 : DAB+ usb dongle.
2 : TPMS usb dongle.
3 : Android auto usb dongle.
Than is such micro sd slot more than welcome

Hi, i just bought CC2 unit (4/64) 10.1" 2 weeks ago, i can anwser couple of questions here. I have already used and installed about 20 head unit so for, and this one is really good.
Its got a sleep mode (3 days), you don't have to wait everytime to until it boots. IPS screen is good quality, acctually the same as any other IPS 10.1 . Build in microphone is acceptable quality, but the BT unit itself i much better then most units, audio quality for calls is really good for this kind of units.
What do you need microSD slot for ?! You can always use msd adapeter in usb slot. There is external microphone in CC2L unit, but this one is low on specs. Regardning the fan on the back it is very good there it is there,
i was thinking about adding a bigger one for hotter days. I've didn;t have a change to hear it yet.
I can test this HU relaoaded app --> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gb.xxy.hr <-- is it this one ?

I got a Teyes Spro and Headunit Reloaded works perfectly. In wireless mode it starts the hotspot and can trigger the phone to open the app and connect wirelessly.
Actually, I don't use it all the time because i got a sim card for its own connection and sync my apps so that native apps work great.
Wow this is amazing news, thank you so much for letting everyone know! Guess I'm gonna get one very soon

Not the person you asked to, but I'm pretty confident HU Reloaded works with both usb and WiFi, you won't need any adapter regardless of the head unit, that's the beauty of Headunit Reloaded.

Did you bought your Teyes CC2?
My hesitation to not to buy the next Teyes disappears, now that i know that there is a CC3 on his way.
I read on the Russian 4PDA that it will have 4/6 and 8 gb memory and 128 gb storage.
That's a lot of space, with 128 gb of storage, there is place enough for all my music and apps combined.
Also Android Auto and Car play is build in.
It's still pitty they use only 3 usb ports while the internal hub can handle 4 usb ports, 1 for the TPMS, 2 for the DAB+ dongle, 3 For my Resler usb stick (to read al my BMW data), and if i want to buy a dash cam from Teyes it self, i have a usb port to short.
But all by all it looks good.

To be honest I'm fine with the specs of the cc2 as it's likely gonna be cheaper too compared to the new one.
But let's see! To answer your question, I was really close to buying it, but then the corona **** storm hit us, and I see no reason to buy it at the moment considering I'm working from home and using the car once a week to buy groceries :/
Im currently looking at the Tpro.
Do you think it would be worth waiting out to see if they refresh the specs etc?

A 12 nm UIS7862 big.LITTLE with 2 A75 and 6 A55 cores cpu, 6 gb memory, 128 gb of storage, 9 inch IPS+2.5D screen, build in DSP 32 band equalizer, 2.4 and 5 GHz wifi, built in AA and Carplay (not wireless), Full hd rear view camera, build in 4G internet connection and Android 10.
It's good
I took the risk and bought it, it's a good unit I just hope they will make full frame for it instead of the panel.
I was surprised how fast it is, I got the 4GB ram, 64GB memory, 8 core 1.8 GHz and 4G Sim slot.
It starts instantly, sleep mode 3 days, without sleep mode runs under 20 seconds.
Multi screen interface, everything runs smoothly
I posted a video on youtube you search it ( Grand cherokee TEYES CC2)
And sorry for my English
Just for info: CC2plus is already available. with optional 128Gb. Is also shall have the new UIS7862 CPU.
CRV
Sometimes shown as option on CC2 product page.
CC3 is actually still "in progress" and has "follow our updates" status.
And unfortunately there is NO confirmation that it would be possible to upgrade CC2plus to CC3 with SW update.
