I just plugged my phone number into the UPS tracking site reference number field (for the millionth time in 24 hours, I'm embarrassed to say) and got a tracking number. As of 10/14, 'billing info received' which means it goes out today, 10/15. If I'm very, very lucky -- I'll have my toy on Friday! I tried to change it from 'ground' to something quicker with UPS on the phone, they said it wasn't possible I was told T-Mobile could do an 'intercept' to correct shipping addresses, but shipping methods can't be changed once a package is in the system...
If I have to wait the weekend, seeing 'arrived at destination' at the UPS site, I'll die

I pre-ordered the day pre-ordering started. I was told that we'd be getting our G1's 'a little before' the 22nd, but didn't believe it. And really, it is just a little before. UPS Ground isn't exactly speedy.
'Billing Info Received' just means the shipping label was created, and the shipment entered electronically. It's been my experience that actual shipping occurs the day after the status of 'Billing Info Received', which is dated 10/14. In fact, I order a lot of stuff and I don't recall it ever taking longer than that -- hopefully, this won't be the exception
I've read 'rumors' that pre-orders are shipping on 10/15, the appearance of my tracking number makes me thing these rumors are true.

me too... I ordered mine on September 24th... I figured it would ship today... with 1.5M orders it might take a while... I WANT MY G1 NOW!!!!
I got the same message for the 2 phones I ordered, I think it will be a few days before they ship.
Mine (black) is shipped and I expect to receive it on this Friday or upcoming Monday.

I was told the day after I ordered, by a T-Mo rep, that I could start checking UPS on the 15th and that my tracking info should be in there.
I have to have mine re-routed to my office to make sure I get it and don't have to go pick it up at the sorting center. Hopefully it's on the website today or tomorrow. Glad that the shipping reference method is actually working.
Someone on some other android forum told me that they're all shipping out on the 20th and that they're all coming 2-day express. Sha! Right! Like they're going to pony up the extra cash to ship millions of phones express on the same day without charging us extra! It makes way more sense to ship them ground starting 7 days earlier than the 22nd.
I've checked the UPS site so many times that I'm a bit surprised I have not crashed their servers yet. Nothing here either. It seems people who are getting billing info confirmation are all on the west coast http://htcsource.com mostly in CA and WA.

I'm in Chicago, so it may be awhile before I show up in the system if that's how its' going. Course I'll still be checking every couple hours like a geek anyway.

Would you tell them to give you Diane in Orlando's phone also, I will meet you in Atlanta to pick it up !! Nothing has changed on the UPS website for my tracking either .. Not even an invoice. It's as if they are saying "who are you and what do you want ?"

I do a lot of shipping and UPS doesn't update their website as soon as the label has been printed. I would guess that those that have shipped will see something on the website tonight or sooner.
i went to the ups site and entered my number but it says " >>> UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Verify your information and try again. " i dont know if im am entering my number in the right format

Pre-order is pretty much self explanatory=u get it when batch 2 comes out
Its the same thing. Complete means your order had been completed by Google Staff. Estimated shipping date means its been handed to UPS and they have determined an expected dilivery date.

Lol um... Nope! I ordered 3-5min after N4 was made available and there are others wayyy after me that has complete / est shipping nov15th on their order status.
These status doesn't mean crap. I confirmed with 2 representative that my order will be shipped in 1-2 business days just like everyone else.

If what google said about same day shipping is true, then my guess is completed=shipping yesterday, 15th=shipping tomorrow (for all the utc-7+ ,people, it's the 14th where I am, though you could have deduced that already )

I ordered that in less than 30 seconds after it became available and I am in pre-order status. For that reason I can't believe that I will have to wait for the next batch. I will get very angry if people ordered that after me got it before me. As soon as logs are kept and google have at least one computer available to sort the logs by time they should start dispatching with the first-come first-served patterns. Otherwise it is just unfair. I am so happy that you have confirmed that with 2 representatives. I sent an email to Google Play yesterday and I received a response saying that their records and my order id show that I will have the device shipped by the evening of 15/11. (this should be an automated reply by a bot that crawls your email and finds possible answers to your question - I say that because firstly I received the answer in 1-2 minutes and I don't believe that in such a busy day I had such a quick response and secondly the answer was close to what I asked but not exactly what I asked).

Google reps are even more retarded than tmobile reps. And yes i guess preorder is just a glitch. As long as they have charged you card showing in ur online banking u should be good. Mine still shows pending

Hope your right. I went to my local t mobile store on Saturday and the rep told me that my note 4 should be delivered on the 16th or 17th. He said he was pretty confident of that. Sidenote.. on my order status page under order history it does say backorder where it use to say pending shipping.....hopefully that's because it is not available yet.
I order mine by 9:06 am that day.
I doubt not many people would want a phone this big + its not an apple.

Mine doesn't say backordered, but it really doesn't matter. Their whole system is messed up.
I preordered mine Sept. 27th. Then on Oct. 3rd my status went to being processed and on back order. That's when I did an online chat and I posted the results in the OP. This is for the Note 4.

Stores get them sometimes a full week before release dates. Sometimes they even do a "soft release" when they have it in stock but not on display. You have to know they have it in stock and request it though and there is no way to know that unless a rep tells you or you are in there asking every day.
I got my vibrant (sgs1) this way.... was in store looking to upgrade from my G1 to a g2... saw someone looking at a vibrant right next to me playing Avatar on it n I was like.. "ummmmmm, what phone is that?" Told it was a vibrant, not officially on sale till the next week but I could get it now if I requested it by name cause they had them in stock and were doing a "soft release".
nice thats next friday. hopefully they dont sell out.

Yea, I don't think I'm going to pre-order again in the future, this whole process does seem messy.
For my situation, I have a 4 Year Anniversary so I decided I'd get us a pair of Note 4s. I called the rep and one I was just going to order on my account and the other I was just paying outright for it. Well the rep couldn't process them both at the same time because it triggered some fraud warning. (Oh I was also ordering one of the WiFi calling routers). So after a bit of a hold she came back and said she would have to separate each item and buy them on separate days.
So that day I got the Black one ordered, the next day she called back and got the white one ordered, and finally the 3rd day she called back to order to the WiFi calling router. At that point everything looked great, all orders pending, I was a happy camper (though still wasn't liking the fact that it appears I would get it a couple days after release due to shipping, which after reading the posts here seems like that might be debatable and they might actually arrive early).
Well fast forward a couple days, I was checking the orders cause I'm crazy and impulsive like that and just noticed an update. On my Black N4 and Router they both say 'Pending' still. My White N4 however is now saying backorder! Having a bit of a freakout cause its an anniversary present and timing is critical. And to make matters worse, everyone I seem to talk to says something a bit different and so I've come to the conclusion that nobody really knows. Some say 'Oh our system just says that, but there will be plenty available' or 'I'm sure it will still be sent on time because we haven't had that many orders come in' to 'Oh, yes there has been a very high demand, maybe you can give the one that does make it and yours will just have to wait' or 'The system had a minor glitch and has now been corrected, because of this we now have an update on our stock and thus many orders have been changed accordingly'.
Sooooo yea. Here is keeping my fingers crossed, but just wanted to share that on my account I have two order and one says Pending and the other says Backorder.
Edit: Just to let you know this order process was on 9/24 (black one), 9/25 (white one), 9/26 (router).
There are a bunch of us who ordered 64GB Nexus 6s early on 11/19 (or late on 11/18), who still don't have their orders, despite many others who already have their orders who ordered AFTER us. T-Mobile doesn't seem to think there's a problem with this, can't tell us anything about when we could possibly see our orders, and has more or less told us that they won't do anything because there's no evidence that their system screwed up. To that end, we've started tracking 64GB Nexus 6 orders in a spreadsheet, here. We're hoping, that by collecting this data, we can show them that we know we're being screwed over, and that they need to get straightened out.
If you, or a loved one ordered a 64GB Nexus 6 on or around the morning of 11/19, please feel free to add your information to the spreadsheet. Also, if you happen to have ordered after about 10AM PST on 11/19 we'd really like to have your information, especially.
In case anyone missed it @askdes gave quite a response last night. He did make one very good point. What we are doing here is helping to make everyone that ordered a 64gb Nexus 6 feel that they are entitled to receiving their phone in a timely manner. Please remember that the issue here is that people that ordered during the early launch time frame may have been missed somehow while others that placed orders later are receiving their phones. We should all know by now (or at least have an idea) that Google/Motorola are having some kind of manufacturing issue. The only reason we are upset with T-mobile is that they have not been forthcoming with accurate information as to why some people were "accidentally" skipped over. That is it.
@casbar no one has been intentionally skipped. I have enlisted a great deal of people to make sure any errors are found & fixed it takes great deal of time and effort. Days not hours, and the manufacturer has not helped. I am trying to not throw anyone under the bus here. The problem is now there are people who ordered much later and think they are entitled to deliveries earlier and that is not the case and it makes it more difficult to help the people who may have had a legitimate issue but we will help every customer because that is what we do! - Des

I do believe that T-Mobile is attempting to correct any errors on their part. We should be as patient as possible and collect any information that will help us build an understanding of what may have happened if for nothing else to help T-Mobile resolve this situation.

32gb is enough for me. i keep all my music in the cloud, movies ill delete. mostly roms and other things to flash is what my storage is used for(nandroid backups too).

Same here, I guess we were both in the same shoes. I ordered on the first day (Wednesday) and received it the following day.
Although for me I keep my music on local storage and still have space to work with. I take the train so music in the cloud isn't good for me.

well after reading almost 10,000 post in both "Nexus 6 Waiting Room" and "T-Mobile receiving limited stock" I think we people who ordered 11/19 from T-MOBILE or there abouts, then put on backorder to 11/25, are getting lost in the orders from GPS and MOTO.
I have neither received on read about anybody have any info on these orders. Does any info

I ordered on the 20th..backorder 21st...in same boat with no estimates..tried executive CSR, store CSR, and website with no luck.

I put out a Twitter (twit, tweet, twiddle?) today for T-Mobile sort of publicly asking for any sort of shipping status. They immediately got back to me and asked me to direct message them but then was promptly asked the same questions on my order that the phone and chat reps have asked me all the time about my order.
As far as I know I'm still on backorder from 11/25 (ordered the 19th) and nobody has any idea when I'll get this phone.
I'm patient and don't care if I receive it in February, I just want to know if I'm going to be receiving it and when. Especially with holidays and travelling coming up I don't want to risk having the thing sit on my doorstep for days/weeks while I'm gone. Just any little drop of info would be awesome.
So we know that at a minimum Google, Motorola and T-Mobile are having issues with managing orders for this phone.
Either hundreds of thousands are ordering or this is the "demon core" of smart phones.

Just got the system generated message from TMO that my order will be delayed until (between) 1/9/14 and 1/23/14... and that is anything changes, I will know because it will ship... (duh) I'm lucky that I got a 32GB and at this point really don't need the 64GB but its just a matter of principle now..

So I preordered the S8 on 4.12.17 on Samsung's website. At checkout, I was given the option of the free VR gear gift, or the imersive bundle for $100 more. I chose the imersive VR bundle and paid full weight on both.
Yesterday, I receive my phone and only my phone. I figured ok, they will send the imersive pack separately on cheaper shipping. Today, over 24 hours after I receive my phone, I get my tracking email. The email states that both items were shipped in one package, and that it was delivered on 4.19. So I call Samsung, wait on hold for 2 hours when the girl on the phone tells me it looks like there was a shipping mistake and that there are no more imersive bundles left. She said she would send an email up the chain, and could give me no more information!
At this point all I know is that I didn't get what I paid for, and probably won't, and have no clue when this will be resolved. I am so fed up right now with Samsung's screwups.

If you're like me, I got an email about two items shipped. But really it was just the phone and a "pre installed SIM card". The Immersive bundle is supposed to take 6-8 weeks to be delivered. I doubt you were supposed to get it with the phone. Does your email say specifically the immersive bundle??

When I click on the tracking button it says, 1 package 2lbs delivered. It was supposed to be shipped together. 1 box with everything. Others that weren't screwed over received 1 box with everything on the 19th. Welcome to my hell pal, you got screwed too.

Yeah he is right the regular VR kit was takes 6-8 weeks. The $100 option was said to ship within 2-3 days.

I posted this in the "Where to pre-order?" thread on April 2. Samsung.com is, was, and likely to continue to be horrible.
Anyone here get tangled up in the Note7 recall? A lesson to be learned is that if there's a problem with the phone in general or yours in particular where you buy it makes a difference.
The mass market B&M retailers including Best Buy were incredibly difficult for people to deal with. Target and Walmart being exceptionally bad. Online, Amazon was fantastic and B&H gets honorable mention. Ironically Samsung.com get's a resounding "F." People who pre-ordered from them were the last to get their phones and they were clueless and helpless during the recall. Samsung.com isn't run by Samsung. It's run by Digital River on their behalf. I've had problems even ordering accessories from them. I'd stay far away. People that bought grey market phones from eBay in many cases were either left with no refund or spent inordinate amounts of time trying to get their Note7's refunded. So - Caveat Emptor,

Get used to that feeling I've talked to them all and they are all completely incompetent from rep to supervisor. Let me put you on a brief 1 to 2 minute hold while i get a supervisor gets old after an hour of BS.
