Hello, can somebody help me with a Lenovo A1000 ?
At first the phone did not boot, it was stuck at the boot logo so I thought it might be an easy fix , just to reflash the phone .
I managed to get into recovery mode and from what I remember , it was written in red color this text : " a1000_usr_s29798_1511241708_sprd7731_ro "
Then I read on the internet the procedure on how to flash the phone, installed all the drivers and the SPD upgrade tool version 4 and flashed the firmware : " Lenovo_A1000_S113_SPRD7731_20170525 " but after the flashing was done, the phone does not respond to anything anymore, it does not open , does not show anything if I plug in the charger, no recovery , no boot logo , nothing. It only "works" when trying to flash with SPD upgradetool if I hold the volume buttons pressed and insert the cable , then SPD flashes it again, and only with that specific firmware, I have tried multiple ones but they always fail, at repartitioning.
The phone is dual sim if that makes a difference, and on the back it only said A1000 , i dont see the "m" anywhere to indicate that it's a A1000m model.
I have tried to flash it over & over again, disabled the imei and nv options in the two gears in SPD , it flashes but no boot , no response from the phone after the flash is done, nothing.
I opened the phone to look inside if the connectors are all attatched, everything seems fine hardware wise.
If anybody knows anything on how to revive the phone, I would appreciate it & thank you in advance.

Hi there!
So I rooted my LG G2 (D802, 4.4.2, Stock, used ioroot) yesterday.
I intend(ed) to flash the Optimus G3 Rom, in the start post they recommended to flash cmw/twrp via "Simple Tool 3.2" (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2633941). After doing so (I used the automated version, not the manual one) I got STUCK ON THE BOOTSCREEN. There is a notification popping up for a few seconds in the left upper corner which lists several errors occurring:
BOOT CERTIFICATION VERIFY
SECURE BOOTING ERROR;
CAUSE: BOOTCERTIFICATION VERIFY
along with the following numbers listed from top to bottom: 710, 760, 810, 860, 910, 960 (I just noticed, the numbers can vary, but always follow the same pattern...)
after this message, the screen fades to black, I think it it is still running though, since it takes more than 10 seconds to reboot the phone by pressing the power button. I still have access to the button down/power button combo which leads to a factory reset setting, but it doesnt do anything for me since I still get stuck at the lg boot screen.
I
Atm I dont what to do! Enter download mode and flash something? I'm seriously kind lost here. So, thank you for your help!
Cheers
You flashed a custom recovery version thad doesin't match you phone ( example you flashed D801 recovery on D802 phone )
Just search in Q/A and you find the solution to fix it. Be calm , if you phone is booting - you can fix it
If you are lazy , i searched it for you. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2694530

Thanks a ton!! Finally I can put a name on the problem (bricking...)- Ironically I never mangaged to get there in 3years of samsung flashing but got there within 15mins of flashing on the LG G2. I guess it's true what they say about samsung devices, as hard to brick as a brick...
I'll report back if it worked...
Weeell, as it turns out my phone isn't recognized by my pc (Win 7) anymore...I literally can't do anything. Any hints?
I can use the Tool, but it's always trying to connect to my phone without success. But when I connect my phone to the computer it opens a dropbox window (import photos) and several windows partitions, which it tells me to format...

additional info :
when I try to put the device in recovery mode, nothing happen , only few seconds of the white " Samsung GALAXY Note 3 N9005 " and on the top-left part of the screen the bleue sentence: " RECOVERY BOOTING ....".....and after this ...only the Blue Android logo
the same happens if I try to reboot in download mode...
and if I connect the usb cable...no reaction....not visible by the PC....
Reading is the key
@tower5
I can only recommend to read before you flash anything. I don't really know your real issue cause you didn't post any information on your phone. I need to know your version (which rom/android 4.3/4.4/modem/bootloader etc). Next I need to know what you did/how you flashed exactly (you got a custom recovery?)
What I can say is that you did something wrong along the process so the issue is caused by you not the kernel. Please remember that before you start to report a bug
it's difficult to say how i arrived here..... but i simply restored a twrp backup what was with no os and with no recovery.
is my hone COMPLETELY LOST? if i press power + vol + and vol - i only see at the centre of the screen a little android bot. ( this sequence of press was ok for the twrp recovery)
now i can only enter in test mode ( power + volum - ) but i think this is useless.
If i conenct the phone to my pc it's not recognized, pc only ask me about 10 times if i want to format that unit...........
It is very difficult to completely brick Snapdragon 801 powered device, so I'm pretty sure you are not lost. As long as screen goes on, everything is fine.
Similar situation already happend to me. All you have to do is restore stock Lenovo firmware using QFIL utility (download link is in my thread here). Steps how to do so are just the same (plug your phone whilst holding Volume+ and press download).
Here is the firmware.
Let me know if it worked.
i'm safe, i pushed twrp from bootloader screen ( little android on centre). now i have the phone working BUT............................................... BUT.................... i have NO imei.
i made a previous bad FULL wipe and i have imei: 0 now.
i have a SECOND k920 near me and 100% working, i ordered it for a friend. i'm trying to use it.... but i don't know how to do.
i discovered i have to make a backup of imei, an generate a QCN file, that should contain the imei, yes but i CANNOT PUT THE BACKUP of another k920 insime MY lenovo, or the imei will be the same! and i think it is not a good idea.
i tried to edit the file changing the imei with my imei ( i read it in the cardbox i received)
i'm using this guide http://cellphonetrackers.org/change-imei-number-snapdragon-device.html
but i'm BLOCKED at the stage to edit the imei with Winhex editor. i cant find the "imei of working phone" and change it with mine. there are thousands of numbers inside the QCN file!

Hello Electry,
I am stuck up with my Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro since past few days. The problem is that when I power up the phone, it shows Lenovo logo and then the Blue LED switches ON and that's it.
I tried the method mentioned in http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-unlock-bootloader-lenovo-vibe-z2-t3114307 but of no use. Can you please help me out.
Thank You
If it's not a hardware problem then you can use this method and restore original Lenovo Stock ROM:
BootLoop/Error > QFIL Flash > Lenovo Stock 5.0.2 K920_S246_150520_ROW
But you will lose all data not backed up before flashing firmware!
c.x
I had the 5.1.6a firmware and tried to install 5.1.6g through some method described in the maizufuns forum. Did everything by the book and when i restarted my phone it didn't open it was stack at the meizu logo (not the blue logo when your phone poewrs up but the black logo). Simply poot and doesnt power up.
The only thing that works is Volume up + Power Button to enter recovery mode but i ender fastboot instead with only two options
1) System Upgrade
2) Clear Data
And an empty recovery file in my PC similar to a usb stick
I tried to copy-paste new firmwares in the phone through the PC older and newer, chinese and global but nothing works. When I try to upgrade I get "firmware corrupt" message
specificaly I tried 4.1.4 , 5.1.1a+g , 5.1.6a+g , and 1 more 4something versions of flyme
Searched a while for a reason to upgrade with flashing but didn't get anywhere
I have also seen posts 2-5 months old with similar problems that got no response. Is there a possible solution???
Any ideas are welcome. Thank you
Edit: Dragged and dropped chinese firmware 4.2.6.2 to recovery file and upgraded through fastboot.. for some strange reason this version worked fine and upgraded
So here is my sadness. i got my Zenfone2 back Z00A (ME551L) from having the screen repaired from asus themself. it was sluggish so i factory reset and it corrupted. i tried to flash the stock ram but then it went to hell. long story short i ended up wiht the White USB screen which means hard brick(correct if im wroong). i followed http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/guide-brick-soft-hard-bricked-zenfone-2-t3284256 to try and get it back to normal. the 1st time it flashed it worked in the Downloader (FW+OS complete). But when using Flash tools it hung up on the yellow flash button. I have no clue what happend. I try to start from the beggining but it wont complete like it did at 1st. So im stuck with the 4 color boot to fastboot. Wont connect to ADB so i cant sideload or recover from ADB in recovery. any help plz. i just miss my zenfone 2 ahha.
so in recap:
It wont flash fully in Flashtools 1.14.
Wont FW+OS complete in the downloader tool(only FW finishes)
No recovery mode options like it disappeared
When i let it boot normal it says updating with the android guy for 30 seconds then goes to dead guy with error.
plz any help would be outstanding and helpful
