it's difficult to say how i arrived here..... but i simply restored a twrp backup what was with no os and with no recovery.
is my hone COMPLETELY LOST? if i press power + vol + and vol - i only see at the centre of the screen a little android bot. ( this sequence of press was ok for the twrp recovery)
now i can only enter in test mode ( power + volum - ) but i think this is useless.
If i conenct the phone to my pc it's not recognized, pc only ask me about 10 times if i want to format that unit...........
It is very difficult to completely brick Snapdragon 801 powered device, so I'm pretty sure you are not lost. As long as screen goes on, everything is fine.
Similar situation already happend to me. All you have to do is restore stock Lenovo firmware using QFIL utility (download link is in my thread here). Steps how to do so are just the same (plug your phone whilst holding Volume+ and press download).
Here is the firmware.
Let me know if it worked.
i'm safe, i pushed twrp from bootloader screen ( little android on centre). now i have the phone working BUT............................................... BUT.................... i have NO imei.
i made a previous bad FULL wipe and i have imei: 0 now.
i have a SECOND k920 near me and 100% working, i ordered it for a friend. i'm trying to use it.... but i don't know how to do.
i discovered i have to make a backup of imei, an generate a QCN file, that should contain the imei, yes but i CANNOT PUT THE BACKUP of another k920 insime MY lenovo, or the imei will be the same! and i think it is not a good idea.
i tried to edit the file changing the imei with my imei ( i read it in the cardbox i received)
i'm using this guide http://cellphonetrackers.org/change-imei-number-snapdragon-device.html
but i'm BLOCKED at the stage to edit the imei with Winhex editor. i cant find the "imei of working phone" and change it with mine. there are thousands of numbers inside the QCN file!

Hello Electry,
I am stuck up with my Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro since past few days. The problem is that when I power up the phone, it shows Lenovo logo and then the Blue LED switches ON and that's it.
I tried the method mentioned in http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-unlock-bootloader-lenovo-vibe-z2-t3114307 but of no use. Can you please help me out.
Thank You
If it's not a hardware problem then you can use this method and restore original Lenovo Stock ROM:
BootLoop/Error > QFIL Flash > Lenovo Stock 5.0.2 K920_S246_150520_ROW
But you will lose all data not backed up before flashing firmware!

I was trying to flash a custom ROM in my Lenovo A6000. I rooted the phone with KingRoot. Then using Rashr I flashed the twrp img. I went to recovery and then I made a backup using TWRP's Backup option. I rebooted the phone and again went to recovery Then tapping the Wipe option I went toAdvanced Wipe where I checked the boxes next to Data, System, Cache, Dalvik. After that I went to the Install option where I chose the ROM.zip file from the sd card. The installation failed, I tried to install again but it failed again ( I must have had a bad copy of the file ). Since I had already wiped the system I went to the Restore option, chose the backed up file to restore. The restore was successful. But when I tapped the Reboot button after a couple of seconds the device screen went off and the phone kept on vibrating continuously after short intervals. I tried pressing the POWER button for a long time--> keeps on vibrating. I tried going to recovery by pressing the hardware keys--> still keeps on vibrating. I tried connecting to the computer after taking out the battery and replacing it. NOthing seems to work. It keeps showing the same problem. Please Help...
There is nothing to do with it anymore. Get it back to the customer care center.

They will.
No need to go to customer care.
Power off the phone .
Press vol down and power button and it will boot into boot loader
Connect the USB cable .
Go to ed300's post and download the tarp recovery for lollipop and KitKat.
If the base ROM on which u have flashed the new ROM was KitKat use the KitKat twrp.
Else use the lollipop twrp.
Extract the required zip file.
After connecting the USB after that click on the file named Flash . after its completed click on Boot file .after that's also done again click the Flash file .
After that it will show (waiting for device )
And the phone will boot to the recovery mode and u can flash the ED300's ROM I prefer CM12.1
Good luck.
I have hard bricked my Lenovo A6000 Plus, no fastboot, no recovery, not detected by pc either, just phone is vibrating continuously after pressing the power button. I have seen some tutorials of other Phone brands of how to test point their motherboards, Plz help me to give command or test pin my motherboard chipset as well, I don't know where it is located exactly. Thanks.
Hello everyone, my zenfone 2 (ZE551ML), is completely dead.
I had a brick, so I almost brought it back to life with this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/guide-brick-soft-hard-bricked-zenfone-2-t3284256
All seemed to work, but on the final step, when I had to reboot after flashing system, the device doesn't boot.
The bad fact is that now it doesn't vibrate when I hold the power button, o power+vol up, or plug in charging.
No signs of life at all.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advice, and sorry if there are grammatical errors.
Leave connected to PC overnight , every now and then , press vol up and power till 2 vibrates and release power.
You should be fine , you probably have flat bat
i bricked my device few days ago also.
with that iSoC thing pushed a temporary bootloader into the phone. and flash twice of the asus raw file (1st time will detect invalid serial no# and it won't be able to finish, you have to stop it yourself ignore the warning) 2nd time the correct serial no# can be detected and the flash can be finished. then you're good to go.
i think you got a 0% battery only
Find sumit007s guide to unbrick if fastboot is not working then you need to flash some files through xtf tool or something like that i don't remember the exact tool name but u'll find it on the sumit007s thread go for it

my problem is kind of abnormal. i couldnt find solution anywhere so i came here. my device was zenfone 5(t00f)/lollipop.
so i wanted to root my phone. i followed this guide >>
HTML:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5/general/zenfonetoolkit3-24-40-87-t3406557
the tool i used is called ZenfoneToolkit_20160719, downloaded from here
HTML:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B0AFmAAcGS5xbWpTQzBQVTN3b1k
. its a bundle of .exe, .dll, .img, .bin files. but no need to work on them seperately, there is a simple cli tool from which you can choose what you want to do and it executes that file for you. below is the list what you can do.
1. Wipe Cache
2. Factory Reset
3. Flash Boot
4. Flash Recovery
5. Flash Fastboot
6. Flash Stock ROM
7. Root
8. Unroot
9. Unlock Bootloader
10. Relock Bootloader
11. Zenfone Rescue aka Debrick
12. Fixing Generic IMEI 004999010640000
13. Backup MicroSD
14. Flash Boretz Kernel Lollipop
so wiped cache[1] first then i tried to root[7]. sadly it didnt work, when i turned the phone on it took me to fastboot screen, there i had only a few options like, normal boot(doesnt happen), recovery mode, restart. when i turned it off and pressed power and volume up together it would go to recovery where none of the options works. i though that was what called brick, so followed this guide to make my life better
HTML:

.
my phone by default came with kitkat. so when i downloaded the firmware i wanted to get a kitkat. but i couldnt find a matching recovery img and firmware for kitkat on asus official page. so i downloaded jellybean. ASUS ZenFone 5(T00F/T00J) software Image: V1.18.40.9 ww for firmware from here
HTML:
https://www.asus.com/support/Download/39/1/0/2/96nqlxHp1VKV4Rdz/32/
. and recovery img is 1.18.40.9_ww_recovery.img from here
HTML:
https://www.asuswebstorage.com/navigate/s/644D9E0A19714899974C75FC4B6C87EDY
. i dont know what "ww" means in those name but i saw it in my software version before so i went with it.
All the steps went smoothly, by the end of it i guessed my phone charge would be low so i put it in charge and turned it on. first time it turn on without a problem. i checked out a few things and leave it for charge. after a while i came back and battery was 0%. i thought i would be wise to plug out and in charging port again. as soon as i pull out the pin, screen instantly turned black and the phone went dead after a looooong ass vibration.
now when i try to charge the orenge light at top lights up but the animation that shows battery always show its empty. if i try to turn it on while plugged, it shows asus logo/intel logo and goes dead again. if i try to turn it on without being plugged, it shows a battery logo with a question mark, which i think means the phone cannot find battery.
i am stuck here.... plz someone be my savior.
Hello my dear, to get out of this problem I did the following: I connected the phone to compuador by USB cable (with himself off), then he calls and gets the question symbol, it held the power button plus volume up he must restart to get the logo asus about 4 seconds after loose the power button and continue with the volume button up insured. It should enter into fastboot mode there do the necessary procedures to reflash the system.
I hope you helped, hug!

Hello there,
I don't know much about rooting and flashing and other things because it's not my cup of tea. Coming to the point, yesterday I followed a guide to root my Samsung Galaxy E7 using the CF Autoroot flash file. But things didn't go well, after a few seconds of starting flash process using the Odin tool, my phone lost connection with the PC. Odin was still flashing the file but when I checked the log it said removed. I noticed that my phone's download mode is also got stuck. So I got panicked and pressed vol down + power + home to hard restart the phone, and then my got stuck on Emergency Recovery Screen (I forgot to take the photo of the message flashing on that screen). Currently my phone's battery is drained and its resting.
So please tell me if there's any way to fix my phone. A simple method please because I don't know much about these things. And another is that whether my data is still safe or erased.
Thanks in advance
Hello, can somebody help me with a Lenovo A1000 ?
At first the phone did not boot, it was stuck at the boot logo so I thought it might be an easy fix , just to reflash the phone .
I managed to get into recovery mode and from what I remember , it was written in red color this text : " a1000_usr_s29798_1511241708_sprd7731_ro "
Then I read on the internet the procedure on how to flash the phone, installed all the drivers and the SPD upgrade tool version 4 and flashed the firmware : " Lenovo_A1000_S113_SPRD7731_20170525 " but after the flashing was done, the phone does not respond to anything anymore, it does not open , does not show anything if I plug in the charger, no recovery , no boot logo , nothing. It only "works" when trying to flash with SPD upgradetool if I hold the volume buttons pressed and insert the cable , then SPD flashes it again, and only with that specific firmware, I have tried multiple ones but they always fail, at repartitioning.
The phone is dual sim if that makes a difference, and on the back it only said A1000 , i dont see the "m" anywhere to indicate that it's a A1000m model.
I have tried to flash it over & over again, disabled the imei and nv options in the two gears in SPD , it flashes but no boot , no response from the phone after the flash is done, nothing.
I opened the phone to look inside if the connectors are all attatched, everything seems fine hardware wise.
If anybody knows anything on how to revive the phone, I would appreciate it & thank you in advance.
