Please help unbrick my device after flashing CSC to CP - Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Questions & Answers

Working with Odin. I accidentally flashed CSC to CP when CP should have been empty b/c Wifi model. Now stuck at Samsung screen when trying to start, but I can get to Download-mode. I can flash BL/CP/CSC to the correct positions, however how do I "unflash" CP? Actually I can't even reflash the correct parts anymore, Odin does get stuck at "initializing".
After Odin got stuck "initializing" for about 8 minutes I left download mode (Power Key + Volume Down) and restarted Odin and now Odin doesn't even recognize the device anymore. Patching drivers with Zadig does work (for some reason Heimdall requires me to reinstall the Drivers for "Gadget Serial" every single time I disconnect the device or leave Download mode also sometimes on Zadig 2 different Gadget Serial devices pop up when connecting in Download mode and sometimes only 1 does)
and heimdall print-pit results in:
"Initialising protocol...
Protocol initialisation successful.
Beginning session...
Some devices may take up to 2 minutes to respond.
Please be patient!
Session begun.
Downloading device's PIT file...
ERROR: Failed to receive PIT file size!
ERROR: Failed to download PIT file!
Ending session...
ERROR: Failed to send end session packet!
Releasing device interface..."
I have flashed Lineage Recovery (although the device is relatively quick at reinstalling the old recovery, so not 100% sure). I can not access either Recovery.

I got a new Samsung cable. Odin recognized the device again. Then I extracted the PIT from the firmware zip and that and also added AP, CSP and CSC and NOT CP and checked "repartition" and clicked START and got:
"<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..

Which is kinda nothing, so I restartet and tried without the external PIT and without repartition and got something similar, but with "<ID:0/004> Can't open the serial(COM) port." at the end which Google says hints to driver issues, so I patched Gadget Serial with Zadig once again and then Odin log says Device removed and now refuses to recognize the device again.

I tried Samsung Smart Switch and that program just tells me that my device is not supported.

That's what I've been trying. The Log of that attempt is in #2.

Trying this ? : Only .tar in BL option.
Update Firmware on Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (Wi-Fi)

Thank you for that idea.
I just tried that. Odin hang on "Initializing..." for 4 minutes and then I accidentally touched the USB cable -> Disconnected. Now I can't enter Download mode (I get to the warning screen, but when I press Volume Up I only get a little bit of brightness flickering.) I tried 5 different cables, so I don't think they are at fault. I don't have a good way to tell how much battery the device has right now, so I'll charge it for a few hours and then try again. There's no good way to tell if the device is actually charging either right now. (The boot screen shows up if I connect it to the power source and that's all.)

Okay, after letting the device charge for 3 hours I actually could get back into Download mode. This time I made sure to find a safer place before starting the Odin process. I left Odin alone for 40 minutes and when I came back the log said:
"<ID:0/003> Added!!

Then I tried Heimdall which also failed with the following Log:
"D:\heimdall\Heimdall Suite>heimdall flash --CM cm.bin --KEYSTORAGE keystorage.bin --BOOTLOADER sboot.bin --UH uh.bin --UP_PARAM up_param.bin
Heimdall v1.4.0

Second attempt after repatching with Zadig:
"Initialising connection...
Detecting device...
libusbx: error [init_device] device '\\.\USB#VID_04B8&PID_1138&MI_01#6&37E97C82&0&0001' is no longer connected!

ERROR: Failed to detect compatible download-mode device."
Okay, that's probably because conflicting with Odin. So properly disconnect the device (close all related programs, then Power+Vol Down) and -> no more entering download mode again. So I'll reconnect to power for a while and will update later.
edit:
3rd attempt with Heimdall:
"D:\heimdall\Heimdall Suite>heimdall flash --CM cm.bin --KEYSTORAGE keystorage.bin --BOOTLOADER sboot.bin --UH uh.bin --UP_PARAM up_param.bin

and I'm waiting since 5 minutes and will wait another 35 minutes, but I highly expet a fail.
Edit: An hour later the cmd-log still remains the same with Heimdall unable to Initialize a protocol.

Download the latest firmware :
https://sfirmware.com/samsung-sm-p610/
and try a second USB port
Unpack the zip to use the recent ODIN 3.14.4 ( https://devsjournal.com/download-odin-tool-for-samsung.html )
Good luck

Thank you for the support once more. I've been running Odin 3.14.4 since before I started this thread. I see it says engine v(ID:3.1401), so I redownloaded the most recent version and it still does. I've been trying to fix the device for over a month now and it's kinda rough. For example today it took me one hour to get into Download mode and then 2 hours until Odin recognized the device.
I tried 3 USB ports and 5 USB cables and eventuall I could do some semblance of flashing with the original setup that I used before (the port that worked is reserved to transfer data to and from android devices and least used USB port by far). This one is with the most recent files from https://sfirmware.com/samsung-sm-p610/

the operation "hang" at "Initialzation" (not my typo) for about 50 minutes and then another 10 minutes at "Set PIT file..". One good thing about this attempt was that it did not disconnected the phone, so I could just try again.
I also tried an older Firmware file frm sfirmware and it actually started flashing BL, but after it hang for 3 hours I gave up. During that attempt the SM-P610 showed "pit_flash_binary Unsupported Version." on the Download-mode screen. I guess not too surprising.
Out of desperation I also tried flashing the firmware that Frija suggests on Automatic mode weirdly Odin hang for 20 minutes on "SetupConnection.." and then just
"<ID:0/003> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)"
afterwards. Also allowed me to reattempt without further ado.
Then I googled "Re-Partition operation failed." and one idea was to untick Re-Partion. I checked and saw that it was unchecked, so I decided to check it and tried again with the most recent one from sfrimware. Then I got
"Can't open the serial(COM) port." I tried a couple ideas from google, including just restarting Odin, but no avail. Maybe something that Zadig can help with, but patching with Zadig always leads to Odin not recognizing the device after. This time after patching with Zadi Heimdall and Zadig can't see it anymore either. I'm taking a break now, no idea what I'll try next.
Edit: Right now I got Heimdall to recognize the device again, but Odin still does not. Now I'm looking for a way to convert either .zip or .tar.md5 to .tar.gz.
edit: Can I just unpack and then use 7zip to compress to .tar and then 7zip to get to .tar.gz or is something wrong with that? Do I get 4 files or compress them to one bigger file? I guess I'll find a file to be used with Heimdall and see how it is packed.

Samsung Note 3 N9009 Dual Sim FAILED ROOT.. WHAT NOW? HELP!

Hi! I tried rooting my phone after a few reading online.
Basically the instruction is to press power, volume and main button to get to download mode, and press volume up to see the android logo.
Then open Odin, connect phone to computer via USB. Load the Root file via the PDA section. Click start.
The only options ticked are Auto Reboot, and F.Reset Time.
The instruction said click start then let the system go then the phone will restart when finished. But Odin shows it failed.
Im sure the root file downloaded is for my phone model I double checked with different sources.
What should I do? Is my phone bricked now?
I havent disconnected anything and Odin is still running. HELP!

Stuck in a boot loop even after flashing to stock from odin.

I was using stock firmware and all of a sudden today the phone stuck into a boot loop. I flashed the stock firmware all the way back to 4.4.4 with Odin but right after the successful message I get on odin the phone restarts and it gets into the same boot loop. I suspected it might have been an issue with the partition since when I first got the phone 6 months ago I used a pit file in odin (I know I shouldn’t have) but the phone still worked fine. Now I googled the N910F+pit file, downloaded the first pit file I found, flashed it together with the kit kat stock rom but the results are still the same. I’ve tried flashing the stock lollipop rom for my Country and different countries with the same result. I have also tried flashing CF-Auto-Root and TW but odin gives an error and I get an error on the phone as well. One error that I have gotten which was not consistent since I can’t reproduce the result was “Custom binary blocked by Reactivation Lock”.
I would really appreciate any input.
I'm in the same situation exactly. At the moment I'm trying to download UK 5.1 to play with odin once again.
did you manage to fix it?

It looks like your problem is that you forgot to turn off the samsung activation lock before flashing. If you forgot what that is see this I have not used this feature on my phone; however, I would suggest wiping with odin then flash the official stock ROM for your phone that you previously had on it when it did work, hopefully it will boot then login to you samsung account when it asks you about the reactivation lock. There are some activation lock bypass methods out there if you do a quick google search. Hopefully this will point you in the right direction.
The reactivation lock is indeed on. "Reactivation Lock(KK): On"
I have no way of turning it off since I'm stuck in a boot loop no matter what firmware I flash through Odin.
Any other suggestions?
I have same problem on my SM-910H
This problem was after updating 5.1.1 and isntallind micro-sd card (128gb)
In 4-5 days after this, bootloop began.
I deisntalled micro sd, checked it in computer for mistakes, fixed it and after this phone worked fine.
Today same problem, but when I deisntall micro-sd my problem does not go away.
I downgraded phone to 4.4 - does not help
Data wipe, cache wipe etc - does not help...
Waiting for solution from proffesionals (

Do this, it worked for me. In ODIN, just AP/PDA Autoroot md5 file. It will not be successful and you will get "FAILED" message. Disconnect the phone from PC, pull out battery. Reinsert the battery and boot.
The same happened to me.
To all with this problem. My history:
1. Suddenly my stock device go in bootloop
2. Tried to flash it with official software it does not help
3. Tried to flash it with 3 or 4 file service firmware - did not help
4. Service center (not official, that was service center of my internet market) falshed it with some firmware and sad do not update it. It helped for 2 days.
5. They replaced the motherboard. Only this can help.
So, if you have bootloop in your stock device - try to falsh it with firmware if it does not help - take it to service center and say that they do not spent their and your time and change device or mother board.
Now its ok, working fine.
Wrote it because I spent a lot of time to repair it and maby it will help to some one.

I screwed up flashing with odin. Plz halp!

SO, I made a stupid mistake and along with AP CSC and CP flashed BL to my Verizon S7. I tried to go back and do the steps correctly, but the odin flash's are failing now over and over. Get the "software update failed, use verizon repair assist." screen. Issue is in this state I can't get it in software install mode to use said repair assistant. Please tell me someone can help me fix my screw up!? I have googled and tried to solve this, but I came up empty.

What did you flash, firmware wise? What are you trying to flash?
I was going from the newly updated PH1 (OTA) to Samsung_G930x_QC_Rooted_BOOT.TAR I was just not paying attention ...lol singing and goofing off but yeah I flashed BL AP CP and CSC.
ps. Then I did try to go back and flash the right things, but not surprisingly it was unsuccessful. I after that found a stock tar to try to redo the whole thing (G935VVRS4APH1_CL8875708_QB10880117_REV02_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.zip) and that was also failed.

Errors:
"re-partition operation has failed" nearly immediately after start of ODIN flash every time.

If someone could point me I don't mind learning and figuring it out, but yeah....tad frusterated so I'm gonna smoke some cancer lol brb.
Are you using the modified odin? The original one wont work. The modified one is in the root guide.
Do what he suggests. Use the modified Odin. If that does not work try swapping cables, computers, etc...

Dont think you can downgrade ph1. Bootloader supposedly changed. There is a faster download in the forum. Way faster. http://downloadmirror.co/29Uj/G930VVRU2APE1_G930VVZW2APE1_VZW.zip<br />

Ty will try. Best place to find that? Odin downloader lists odin3 3.11.2 as latest? Didn't see any 14 ending versions.

SM-G550T1 boot loop "Custom binary is blocked by FRP Lock"

I had used TWRP to install SuperSU to root. This seemed successful, but a day or two later the phone had powered itself off, and on power-up loops displaying the tiny red "Custom binary is blocked by FRP Lock" message. The phone will boot into download mode, but won't enter recovery mode.
I tried repeating the install of TWRP using ODIN 3.12, but now that fails. Tried installing factory images (\BL_G550T1UVU1APF1_CL8180604_QB9902404_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 etc.) w/ ODIN, and that fails too.
Is this an indication I don't have the latest image files? ODIN messages below:

Made some progress
Reviewing other threads I found a not that talked about installing only the "AP" file using ODIN. That seems to have worked.

what worked? and what firmware. I have 2 on5's one sm-G-550T and a sm-g550T1 that both ended up with the "custom binary blocked by FRP lock" on the same day..
Please help!
I just tried a bin I downloaded from S U site and it didn't work. Gotta love the On5 lol.
Custom Binary Lock
The same happened to me: i have not found a complete solution, the closest i get to anything is; i put the On5 in Odin3 v3.12 and select the AP option and putting the recovery.tar file and running it. it goes good till its done and the result is Custom Binary (recovery) blocked by FRP lock in green letters. but still no success. i have tried trwp recovery, the home.tar file, each file by them selves and having trouble. i may not be an expert at this type of programimng but i pick things up quickly if there is any solution to my problem please let me know. thx............ by the way i have also tried kies and wont connect to it as well
Same Problem FRP Blocked Bootlooping
I did all the same as you and have the same problem. Everything was fine till the phone got restarted.

You need to reinstall the firmware using Odin. Then, when you root again, you need to make sure you have oem unlock and usb debugging on in the developer options. Not having those on and rebooting when rooted cause the custom binary problem.

SM-T510 - Trying to recover the os

Hello,
I am a newbie but I have tried reading and researching. Got past a few of my questions but got stuck so looking for some suggestions.
I have a samsung galaxy tab a sm-t510 (2019??) i believe. Its about 2 to 3 years old so the 2019 version would match. Physically looking at the device its smt-510 and it says this on the oden download mode page as well. All i have access to, to verify this. OS is dead. Here is my issue. I got this tab for my nephew and it died. It was low on battery and he just left it for like a month. Since then he said it just stopped working and kept on restarting. Reading online it seems like the battery died to the point where the charging module cant load so it cant change and boot into the os. It just keeps restarting with the error "could not do normal boot invalid Kernel length". I cannot get into the recovery mode and can only get it into the download mode. Reading online says i should just reload the firmware which should fix the issue. So this is what i am trying to do. The region for this device is in canada. Next in the download mode it says secure boot enabled and oem lock on. I cant get into the os to turn these off. I cant find a way to disable these without getting into the OS. My goal is to get it working, custom rom or oem, dont really care. I know if i load an oem firmware these settings should not matter. I've downloaded a few different versions of the oem image (sammobile and using frija).
I keep getting Re-Partition operation failed. when trying to load the image. I have tried v9 which came with the tab and tried latest v11 using frija.
I can see it connect fine and all is good but it seems like i have the wrong image and this is why i keep getting the re-partition failed? I have tried this with Oden 3.09 which has a few check boxes and one is re-partition. its unchecked. Defaults (auto reboot and f. reset time) are only on. I have also tried it with Oden 3.13.3 with same options. Again my goal is to load anything on it to get it working. Any thoughts on options and what i can do to recover this? My theory is i have the wrong image and thats why the oem and secure download is giving me an error but not sure. Any help would be nice.
just to add. if i select the home csc file i get the there is no pit partition error.
