Hello greetings in advance I appreciate the help you can give me. A few days ago I installed Lineageos 18.1 on my Motorola E5 Plus XT1924-9 Hannah RETCN. From its installation it is presenting some failures that I detail below.
1.- Does not play any type of audio and notifications of any kind through the headphones or speaker. When placing an external device through Bluetooth if it reproduces it (be it headphones or external speakers).
2.- When making or receiving a call, you cannot hear or speak either. I mean, not even with the telephone receiver or the loudspeaker, when speaking the other person does not hear what is being spoken. By placing an external device such as a Bluetooth headset. It works perfect. You listen and the other person listens to what you say. Likewise, when receiving a phone call or when making it in some circumstances, the application gives an error where it indicates that if you want to close or wait. Also when opening the phone application it is the same when trying to dial a phone number it becomes extremely slow.
3.- When playing a sound with the music player, it doesn't play it, that is, it stays static, it doesn't advance for a second, if you put a music or an audio, the all in the RodrÃguez doesn't advance and doesn't play anything. If you place an external device such as a Bluetooth headset or speakers, everything works perfectly.
Actually all this is very rare and it is happening to me after installing Lineageos 18.1.
I would appreciate the maximum help and collaboration to solve this problem.

Hello everyone:
I'm developing an application which is playing audio and recording at the same time. The problem is that if I don't use earphones/headsets the output audio feeds the input and so on, so it's not possible to go this way for a long time.
I am willing to play the audio through the same speaker that the PHONE application does it which is located in the front of most devices and reduces the feedback of the audio.
I have had a look at audio routing the way BAG0 device does with Bluetooth headsets; however it doesn't seem to work for the purposes I need.
Does anyone have a clue?
Thank you so much in advance,
mindless
Hi- thanks a lot to Yuki, I was able to flash to Mango without a hitch. I have two questions if anyone can help me out:
1. I'm having issues with GPS connectivity- it's almost nonexistent. For example, I can't use the directions ability in maps because it tells me "can't connect to satellite" whenever I tap on the screen. Is this a known issue with a solution? If so, can anyone provide clarity or provide a helpful link? I have the latest radios and I reside in Los Angeles and New York City.
2. My Audio, only when making calls, does not work properly. When I hook up any headset, one of earbuds loses audio completely and the microphone diminishes my input dramatically. If I put the call on speaker, the sound is barely louder than when not on speaker. I've tried both audio cabs but neither has been successful in resolving these issues. Again, is this a known issue with a solution? If so, can anyone provide clarity or provide a helpful link?
Any help regarding either of these dilemmas would be greatly appreciated!
I don't know bout the GPS but I never had any audio issues, sry mate...
But your on a tmous aren't you? And I'm on an european hd2....
I have the same issue. When somebody call me, it's hard for them to hear what I'm saying. I have to shout loud to the micro.
I have the Galaxy Tab 7.7 (p6800).
When I have my stereo bluetooth headset connected, the sounds for Phone Ringtones, Notifications and the Text-to-Speech reader (reads your texts to you) all come out of the tablet speaker and the bluetooth headset.
I'm looking for a way to disable the tablet speakers either manually or automatically when connected to bluetooth.
Would placing a bounty of say $50 be enough to be worth someones time to create an App that does this? If so, is there a process I need to follow to set up the bounty?
Thanks
Is $50 enough to develop a custom application?
No, but it would be a nice reward, and may get someone thinking about a profitable application they could submit to the Android market.
Turning off the internal speakers when connected should be part of the Bluetooth driver options.
Good place to look would be Android Market - look up "Bluetooth Switcher", and maybe contact the developer. That app looks like mono only currently.

Note: This seems to be a problem that some people see when using Wired Headphones, as well
Issue 16667: Notifications are played through external speaker when headphones are plugged in (http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=16667)
Would that be driver related also?
I have had several different cell phones over the years, pre and post-smartphone. They have all been different brands. I also have used a Bluetooth earpiece from the time they became available. The Bluetooth's I have used have been made by different companies too. Regardless of who manufactured the phone or the Bluetooth earpiece, they have all worked exactly the same way. The way they work this way is so that when you are around others or are in a quiet place any audio is only played through the BT. This way you do not disturb others around you. Steps below:
1. Pair BT device to phone.
2. Connect the phone to the paired BT device.
3. Place the BT device in your ear.
4. Now that the phone is paired and connected to the BT device all of the audio is rerouted directly to the BT device.
5. If a call is ringing the phone or you receive a notification from any app, the sound is ONLY played through the BT device.
6. This works as described above even if you have not turned off the phone's speaker.
In October 2015, I purchased a Samsung S6. Supposed to be the best, right? WRONG! There isn't much that I like about this phone but that is for another thread. With the S6 BT works like this:
1. Pair BT device to phone.
2. Connect the phone to the paired BT device.
3. Place the BT device in your ear.
4. Now that the phone is paired and connected to the BT device all of the audio is routed to the BT device AND the phone speaker.
5. If a call is ringing the phone or you receive a notification from any app, the sound plays on the BT AND the S6 speaker. Music does appear to play through only the BT. However, videos with sound also play through both the phone speaker and the BT.
6. If you mute the S6 you don't get audio ANYWHERE. If the S6 is set to vibrate then the phone vibrates and most of the time you don't hear anything in the BT either.
What the f*** is up with that? I have spoken to multiple people at different support levels of at Samsung and some of them say that is the way it is supposed to work. The others say that it ISN'T supposed to work the way it does. Those people generally blame the BT device. I have tried 4 or 5 different brands of BT devices and they ALL work as described above on the S6. No one seems to know what the real answer is!! Can anyone tell me why you would bother with a BT if you are going to hear the sound on the phone speaker also and disturb others around you, say for instance in a meeting? OR does anyone know how to make this work as a BT should or know a brand of BT earpiece that works with the S6. I am on calls all day long and need my BT to work correctly. In a cube environment, others do not always enjoy hearing your special ringtone or notification sounds. PLEASE HELP ME SOMEBODY! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE I AM BEGGING YOU. I have so many issues with this phone that I want to smash it with a hammer until it is nothing but tiny bits of metal, glass, and plastic. IF Samsung is reading this your phone is a very expensive piece of Sh**!!!! Your tech support department is the worst that I have ever encountered for any product.
Hello Everyone-
I have checked the files and don't see a question quite like mine. I recently had a Kenwood ddx375BT installed in my Honda. The radio works great. The CD\DVD work great. The sound comes through the speakers without defect. My problem is that the speakers do not deliver the sound from the BT audio. This includes sound files on my phone, even though I can see them linked on the monitor. The sound from Google maps will not play through the speakers unless I am on the telephone and the directions play through the call.
I have a Xiaomi Redmi note 5 pro and this was an issue with by prior head unit, a Power Acoustik 626BT. I was told that this issue had been addressed and that I would not have a problem with the new unit.
What is confusing is that the files are playing (as verified by the screen information displaying on the screen) but there is no sound coming through the speakers.
I have done the following to correct the issue:
1. Deleted and repaired the phone per Kenwood customer support.
2. Entered the Settings>smartphone settings>android/ios toggle and attached it to android.
Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can offer. The sound is amazing coming off cd/dvd. I cant wait to pair the music on my phone.
