I have been looking around online for a solution to unlock my G3 (LS990) and I found this software: http://octoplusbox.com/en/ and I really want to try it but I can't figure out if it is safe or not. It is free so I figured it is a deal ( if it works). Maybe someone can tell me if they use it if it is safe to install on my computer (windows 7). My Norton 360 just expired so I am just being a little hasten.

You're 1000% more likely to get a answer if you post the question in the Q & A section for your phone.
Perhaps it was meant to go there and the server screw up yesterday moved it? I've run into some confusing scenarios ib the past two days that I think was a result so thought I'd quote you and reply with the benefit of the doubt before the really emotional people got to it.
i use octoplus, but this software doesn't work or open unlesd you connect the box with smart to the computer, the box with smart card cost around $320 from china.
it is not a good idea for a single phone.
I've purchased unlock for this phone and I should have checked if it was connecting to the server before ordering the unlock. When I try to unlock it through the default unlock app it's giving me this error. Has anyone gotten this error before? Any fix to it?

Your best bet would be to contact the customer service of where u ordered the unlock code from. They would be better equipped to help resolve your issues with it than anyone here. I dont use the unlocking service companies, many of them are shady and not legitimate so its wise to make sure you choose one that has a good track record of doing business.
I tried contacting them, but I didn't realise that their policy states no refunds if I get this error as I was suppose to check before ordering. It's a legit company and I've bought unlock codes many times from them. Anyway, it seems for some reason the phone isn't able to connect to the servers. I tried a hard reset and everything pretty much.
There really isnt much you can do then, if you missed a step or didnt verify something before ordering it unfortunately your just SOL. If there policy is such that no refunds are given then you just gotta eat your mistake. Hey dont feel to bad, we have all messed up at one time or another doing something with our phones. I guess you just live an learn from it.
You can keep trying to connect to the server though. Maybe its just down. Other than that my only other idea is if you actually have the keys to unlock your phone try looking on google for a manual way to get to the unlocking menu. There are hidden service menus for our phones but they are not always available, it varies from model to model

Why don't you ask your work executives to give you a real handset instead?
Do you have corporate apps/email on it? It might be imposing a security policy that prevents you from turning USB debugging on.
Finding it a little difficult to believe your co-workers would not make a new Nexus 6P the prize. Either you have stolen the device yourself or your co-workers stole the device and are setting you up. Either way, you will not receive any help here on how to unlock a locked/stolen item.

It sounds to me like you stole this device or found it. You should really consider locating the original owner. If you bought it with a PIN on it, you need to contact the seller.
There isn't no frp removal exploit yet, I've tried most tricks and still can't bypass it on the device I own. I'll report back it I find a method.
the best way is to go to the store, where you buy your phone. and if the device is yours, the send it to blackberry and they reset the phine.. it costs a bit.. here in germany, in the store i work, its usualy round about 30 - 50 €

I bought an Echo Dot 4th and after hours of trying and calling amazon support, they told me the serial (DSN) were blocked and that i cannot use this echo because of this... well i already fix the issue with the seller, but i keeped the echo dot 4th blocked
