Ticwatch 3 pro battery, fast depletion. - Other SmartWatches

My one year old Ticwatch 3 pro battery started to deplete at high rate. My watch had passed its warranty period.
One month ago, the battery gave me 2-3 full days. For some reason the watch was store for more than a month in my drawer. Lately after full charges I barely get 12 hours. It can deplete 50% after a full charge in 5-6 hours while lying on the table.
I even went into recovery mode and performed a factory reset. To no avail.
Mobvoi support claims that it is past warrenty and so far did not approve to send if for repair.
Please advice.
Thanks.

It's like storing escooter over winter w/out charging -> 500$ battery dead. Especially if the quality isn't high which typically isn't.
I used to try fancy smart watches like this since 2005 (Samsung) and returned them each time. Charging so frequently is a joke. I just returned Tickwatch 3 Pro too. The battery lasted only for 2 days despite fancy 2nd display.
With Garmin, i charge only 20x per year, so the battery would last for a decade even if it was crap (which it isn't like experienced). Forget the toys, get Garmin.

Battery Warranty period?

Dear All!
My phone battery is dying 6 and a half month after purchase (after full charging and soft rest, lasted less than 20 hours: includes 40 minutes 2G talking, rest complete standby, no WLAN/bluetooth). Now the "Warranty Card" coming with the phone says it lasts 24 months for the phone and 12 months for the "included accessories". Now since battery is a listed included accessory, so I would assume its warranty shd be 12 months, while digging on net says it is 6 months! Am I missing something? do some special "extra" rules apply to battery? Do you think I qualify for a warranty repair?
Thanks and best regards!
ps: After fading "black" paint, failure to properly play divx, yet another let down!
I've had to buy another battery. It's a 1500MAH one and cost me around £10.00. I couldn't wait around to talk to Orange and faff about with trying to convince them it's a Sale of Goods Act problem (goods must be fit for purpose).
To put into context. My battery can't charge itself. The norm is now 2 bars, occasionally getting up to 80% of the bars.
I can talk on the htc Touch HD for around 3 minutes. I can play a video with the phone in airplane mode for around 50 seconds.
Not really acceptable.

Just let me understand: you had a charging problem (battery would not fully charge), then you replaced it with 1500mAH battery, but still have the same problem i.e. you can barely use the phone, am I right?
Best regards!

No, the situation described above was with the battery that was given to me.
I bought the 1500mAH battery and now the phone works as per normal.

[Q] Terrible battery performance?

Hi Guys,
How is your battery performance going? We have three 64GB 3G Lenovo tablets in our office and we are struggling to get two hours usage out of any tablet. Even just leaving them in standby mode will drain them fast (less than a day). I have the acer iconia A500 and can leave that around for days and still have some juice when I pick it up again. Any idea why battery life is terrible on the Lenovo? We are all running different apps. Mine is pretty much just running stock with a few ebook reader apps.
Cheers,
SB
Something is wrong with them if the battery life is that poor. Presumably with the hardware if you're running things mostly stock. Strange, though, that it'd be all of them and not just one. Mine gets 8 solid hours of medium to heavy use, no sweat, and other people have indicated theirs get about the same. You might want to contact Lenovo's tech support (though just a word of warning, they have kinda lame tech support nowadays...).
I've got a 32GB no 3G tablet that continues to surprise me with it's battery life. I'd read plenty about folks with crappy recharge and usage times.
Mine will still have the same charge the next day if I don't put it in the dock and I generally get 7-8 hours out of a full charge, even over the period of a few days.
The old 'cell-standby' battery drain disappeared a while back. Don't know why. Don't miss it at all.
Under normal use for me (sketchbook pro, browsing, and an occasional game) I get about 8-12 hours of use (basing that on the screen on %), with 3-4 days between charges. Something is certainly up with yours, what is listed under settings>about tablet>Battery Use?
Info
Tablet 1:
Battery 69%, 7 hours on battery, maybe 20 minutes use. (Mobile broadband turned off)
Screen 39% (on auto brightness)
WiFi 26%
tablet Idle: 23%
Cell Standby 7%
Android OS 7%
The other two are not available, but as a colleague ran out the door, he mentioned that his cell standby was 33% despite mobile broadband being turned off.
Thanks for your feedback so far.
Mine (16GB version) lasts for 4 hours when it's REALLY busy, that means when I stream videos over wireless.
Otherwise...after a full day of normal usage I'm back from 100% to 40%.
Anything else I think is not acceptable..I suggest you guys have your tablets replaced.
Wait, I just had a thought. Are you guys using the keyboard folio with the tablets? If so, there's something you should know. After putting the tablet to sleep, you can't close the folio for another 10-20 seconds afterwards. Otherwise, the optical trackpoint ends up detecting motion from the tablet being on top of it and it wakes the tablet up repeatedly while the thing is sitting closed. So you have to put the tablet in sleep with the folio still open, let it sit until it goes into deep sleep, wave your finger over the trackpoint to make sure it has (after 10-20 seconds), THEN close it up.
my battery is good on standby (with wifi sleep).
Your battery drain is because of cell network. use airplane mode !
I RMA's 2 of them with the same symptoms, took all day to charge, discharged way to fast they ended up having both bad motherboards and bad batteries. I called up lenovo sent them in and had to wait about 3 weeks for the parts to come in, but they have been working incredibly well now.

That sounds very similar to the three we have. 6-8 hours to charge. Less than an hour of use to discharge. Less than 10 hours on standby to discharge. Lenovo suggested a factory reset (ha ha) to fix the problem. I'll humour them for the weekend.

[Q] Battery Life

So I bought a Venue Pro and I'm loving it! However, after a full charge, hours later in the battery info under settings the battery life falls very fast and says 2 hours left. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks in advance!
I found out the answer myself. Unless you charge it from the computer it will not show you correct battery life or it doesn't charge properly. One of the two.
I thought I had solved it but no, it just charged slower and the battery I'd going equally fast. Can someone please give me a solution? Thanks
i think you simply have a bad battery.
DVP in general charges pretty fast, one hour on PC USB (500mA max) gets you a full charge.

hmm 1 hour on PC USB? Mine takes close to 3-4 hours for full charge. My battery lasts 1 day with moderate usage. So could it be that my DVP battery is bad too?
Either you have a bad battery, or maybe it's still being calibrated?
I bought a used DVP, and the battery on it lasts a whole day on moderate usage, and almost 2 days on light usage.

My battery takes 4 hours for full charge via PC and finishes to zero in 5 hours. I charged it 100% this morning, disconnected it, put it on lock screen and I've just come home and the battery has fallen to 42% even though it was on lock screen. I always keep my screen on low brightness. Will my battery calibrate in a week or do I have to buy a new battery?
Oh and I am a VERY light user. My phone isn't unlocked so I don't use cellular connection. I simply message my friends on WhatsApp and browse the web a little. Battery just fell 2% again.
The battery life is crap, thats basically it. Had several devices, none of them could last a day without basically no usage at all. Best to get used to charging it whenever you can or get a spare battery.
Hmm other users are saying theirs last almost 2 days with light usage and I don't even use cellular and it dies extremely fast! The battery life may suck but no device will kill a battery like my DVP is doing right now.If my battery is bad should I buy one of these and which one:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BATTERY-D...808?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2a0f77e3f0
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-O...340?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f115330f4
Sadly none of those look legit, the second one has the incorrect wattage (actuall 1400mah) and the first one claims the battery will also fit the Venue, which I think is incorrect. Try contacting the sellers to confirm compatibility and if they will accept returns for a refund.
It comes with a 12 month warranty and and returns accepted if there is a fault. Even if it isn't original will it last and solve the problem I have?
If you can return it, buy it and test it. Only way to know if that will fix your problem. Only other thing I can think of is doing a hard reset and seeing how the device performs with few or no apps installed.
Hmm that seems like the only way. I've already messaged the seller asking him if his battery will fix it and then if it doesn't I will return it. By the way I don't think a hard reset would work as the device was doing this from the first time. Also I already did a hard reset once to change the SD card and it still goes as fast. Thanks for all your help guys.

DVP's battery life is not the best, but as a heavy user I can make 18-22 hours without charging (lot of phone calls, 20-40 incoming e-mails / 1 account, refresh every 15 minute/, no push), which is quite good (of course not a BB 9700 .
I messaged the seller and told him about my problem to which he replied the battery he's selling will fix it, if not I can return it. And 22 hours is quite good battery life. I charged my DVP 100% this morning and went to school. I had no cellular connection so I didn't make any calls or texts and had WiFi off with screen on lowest brightness. I played 5 minutes of movies, took 5 pictures and played 5 minutes of games. When I came home I was down to 30%. A mate of mine suggested I should let my battery die completely then charge it up and do it a few times and that fixes it as he has a blackberry 9900 and he had my problem when he had his phone brand new and after going what he told me for 4 days his battery works fine now. So ill try what my mate told me and if it doesn't work by Saturday I'll order my new battery.
Btw battery fell from 100% to 0% in 9 hours.

I bought my first DVP back in December 2010, exchanged it a few times before the wifi crashing bug was fixed, beta tested the fix for the crashing, and on none of those devices has the battery been able to last a day. That's been my experience, with normal usage.

Battery life sucks - got a new battery

All
I have been suffering with poor battery life for many months now, I have tried all the obvious solutions, even going back to a fresh re flash with no other apps and still the same (i.e. barely a day with moderate usage).
Then it occurred to me that I used to get at least 2.0 or 1.5 days with moderate usage for the first 6 months.
I confirmed a while back my battery was no the bad batch.
Anyway finally I source a direct genuine replacement from Handtech for £10.
I swapped the battery (no other changes at all) and voila, I would say back to original expectation
Reflecting back, the battery charging and during use would get very warm (not a good sign) but there was no sign of battery swelling, etc...
With the new battery even after a long first charge the handset was completely cold.
interesting...
How long you used the original battery?
I know some Iphones that still last a day with single charge after 5 years of usage. So the battery still keeps the charge. My 3 year old Galaxy S2 still keeps the charge but not as good as new one. So at least Samsung batteries becomes weaker over the time significantly.

Original battery was barely 1 year old.
I don't overcharge and normally cycle it once every few months (complete discharge and charge).
I am now 20% down after 8 hrs, with the old battery it would probably be about 40% down.

ZE551kl zenfone 2 laser battery 2017?

anyone bought a recent battery off ebay or aliexpress want to give me the total amount of hours they are able to get out of it?
Reason I am asking is because my battery barely lasts 3 hours of continuous use; I honestly blame the time I actually played pokemon go which was able to get a wooping 2 hour for about a month when it went to 1 whole hour! before it is completely drained for quick demise of my battery.
Even though 10-15 dollars is worth the risk; I rather spend $400 on a flagship from samsung or lg which has more reliable battery replacements available since the phone is a little slow from the apps I installed.
Thanks for any feedback.
