ZE551kl zenfone 2 laser battery 2017? - Zenfone 2 Laser Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

anyone bought a recent battery off ebay or aliexpress want to give me the total amount of hours they are able to get out of it?
Reason I am asking is because my battery barely lasts 3 hours of continuous use; I honestly blame the time I actually played pokemon go which was able to get a wooping 2 hour for about a month when it went to 1 whole hour! before it is completely drained for quick demise of my battery.
Even though 10-15 dollars is worth the risk; I rather spend $400 on a flagship from samsung or lg which has more reliable battery replacements available since the phone is a little slow from the apps I installed.
Thanks for any feedback.

Discrepancies between the same, yet different Galaxy S4 batteries?

So, I got my Galaxy S4 about 8 months ago. And I've taken good care of this battery - never let it charge over night (except for ~7 times), never let it drop below 10% (except for ~3 times). I also didn't put much strain on it with overclocking and such (for what it's worth). It isn't swollen (not even just a bit) neither.
Yet, here I am, 8 months later... complaining about the fact that my battery life isn't comparable to someone else's who claims they're able to play a game for 5 hours straight.
My daily usage is kind of like a routine. It doesn't differ (very much) from day to day. So, I get about 3 hours of screen-on time (out of which 30 minutes = a game).
I just swapped batteries with a friend who got a Galaxy S4 a week ago. You know, just to see how crappy my battery is.
What did I find? With his battery, I could easily get 4+ hours of screen-on time! And that was with screen brightness to auto (mostly outdoors, so it was pretty bright), 3G data almost always on (some times Wi-Fi), a few minutes of using GPS and one hour (!!) of gameplay (the same, not that graphical intensive game I play on a daily basis). So... while I usually get 3 hours of screen-on time (with 30 minutes of gameplay), with a new battery, I would easily get ~5 hours of screen-on time!
Now, what the hell? How can a battery degrade so much so fast? I mean this guy has got a Galaxy Note 2 for almost a year and the battery was still the same!
And you see people with >6 months old S4's still getting stellar results battery-wise... What the hell
---------------------------
So, what I would like you to do is the following (PLEASE!)
- State the age of your phone.
- The first 4 characters of the battery's S/N + the manufacturing date (can be found on the back of the battery).
- What's the average hours of screen-on time you can get with your phone, and in which usage conditions.
Why am I asking you to do this? It's simple. I think batteries from a specific batch yield better results than those from another. For example, if 4 people with ABCD (Serial Number) batteries from April 2013 get 5 hours of screen-on time and 5 people with EFGH batteries from May 2013 get 4 hours of screen-on time... that means ABCD batteries from April 2013 are better performing.
I'm in the process of purchasing a new battery, and before I do so, I wanna make sure I'm getting one that's not from a bad batch (according to what results I'm getting here - if I am not gonna get any... well... I'm gonna go with the most recent battery, lol).
Also, consider this as a poll participation. Just for fun / curiosity. As I said, to see what batteries are better than others etc. Just bear with me

Battery life opinions

I'm thinking of buying HTC 10 EVO but almost every battery review says that the battery life sucks. How much SOT do you guys get and under what circumstances?
nope, i think is not so bad. At regular use 1,5 days no problem.
3 hours tops on a long day., livable. Mine spent three of the last 11 months at HTC for repair... Avoid this phone if you can.

Need some help about this battery

so I'm looking for a new phone, I currently have a Samsung S10 e and I get about four and a half hours or so of screen time. I had pickles in the past and really love them because the cameras dope. I really want to get a 4 because I'm going on vacation next week to Jamaica but all these reviews about the battery life really has me worried. I'm trying to get a gauge now that the phone's been out for a few weeks for some real time users to see what I can expect.
some of you say it gets like two to two and a half hours and then other people say it's around 4 to 5. I'm just looking for some real world battery stats because I don't want to go on vacation and have this dope camera that I can't use cuz the battery is always dead
I got like 7 hours SOT. It's a good battery.
I had a crappy battery at the beginning, but adaptative battery make it last easily a whole day now, after about 2 weeks use.
Thanks for the responses!! Yeah I went ahead and bought one off swappa.
Im glad to hear it's manageable from real users and not YouTube reviewers. There were quite a few saying it was getting like 2 hours or less which scared the crap out of me!!!

Upgrade to a new device

Hello Everyone!
I've had the redmi 4 prime for almost 4 years now and I've loved the device from day 1.
I used to get 8+ hours of screen on time at the beginning by using mainly youtube, instagram, whatsapp and chrome.
For 150$, I could not ask for more.
However, since 1 year or so (more specifically, since I updated to oreo (now I'm in android 9), I get ~4.5 hours sot, which are totally great but I interpret as a sign I might start thinking about a new phone.
I'm reluctant to buy a new one, since they're all ****ing huge and expensive as ****.
So here's my question: have you upgraded? If so, what phone do you have now?
If not, do you have any idea if there's any <4/500$ phones, under 6 inches (or 153mm height max) with a decent battery life (since I understand that asking for 8 hours sot these days for a compact smartphones is nonsense, unfortunately).
I hope you all are safe and healthy during these days.
Cheers!
You might consider replacing the battery. I just replaced mine with a Nohon brand battery from AliExpress, and I'm getting 10+ hours SOT.
I am still using this phone same, I hate big phones they are not handy.
I thought everyone has forget this device

Ticwatch 3 pro battery, fast depletion.

My one year old Ticwatch 3 pro battery started to deplete at high rate. My watch had passed its warranty period.
One month ago, the battery gave me 2-3 full days. For some reason the watch was store for more than a month in my drawer. Lately after full charges I barely get 12 hours. It can deplete 50% after a full charge in 5-6 hours while lying on the table.
I even went into recovery mode and performed a factory reset. To no avail.
Mobvoi support claims that it is past warrenty and so far did not approve to send if for repair.
Please advice.
Thanks.
It's like storing escooter over winter w/out charging -> 500$ battery dead. Especially if the quality isn't high which typically isn't.
I used to try fancy smart watches like this since 2005 (Samsung) and returned them each time. Charging so frequently is a joke. I just returned Tickwatch 3 Pro too. The battery lasted only for 2 days despite fancy 2nd display.
With Garmin, i charge only 20x per year, so the battery would last for a decade even if it was crap (which it isn't like experienced). Forget the toys, get Garmin.
