Hi, I have an Android head unit running Android 9 powered by a PX6 chip. It's 4GB/64GB.
The unit started bootlooping some time ago (just stuck at the Android loading screen) and the seller have not been very helpful and wants me to buy a new motherboard for the unit.
Long story short, while waiting for Aliexpress to take responsibility and make the seller uphold the warranty they sell the unit with I was wondering if there is anything I can do myself?
The unit is sealed and I can't reallyd figure out how to get to recovery or anything. Only thing the seller told me to try was using a pin to press the reset button 10 times repeatedly. This had no effect other than the unit restarting however.
Any ideas how to debug such a unit? I don't see any SD cards or similar, unless it is located within the unit shell itself?
There are some USB ports, but I don't have a male to male cable so I haven't tried plugging it into a PC with ADB/fastboot yet...

Hi guys, I have previously posted about my A-sure L2ovb Head unit crashing. Im looking for a way to restore the head unit that runcs on windows embedded automotive 7. I have contacted A-sure but their customer service is shocking.
What happened was the head unit =cut out when it was scolling pictures on the screen from the sd card i inserted.
now, the screen remains black until the reset button is pressed with a pin, then a quick flash of the vauxhall logo would appear on the screen before returing to the previous black screen
I removed the canbus box and run a direct 12v to the yellow wire on the unit and the red on canbus wire to test and it still remain in the same state, So that rules out the canbus box being faulty.
The only option left is to restore/reflash the unit with wince 7 but i cant find any recovery files for it.
Why did i buy from A-sure? its 8 month old and i was told i would be getting 2 years warranty! yeah, maybe if the replied to my Emails!! Though i did love the unit when it was Working.
Any you guys got any advice? I didnt get any replies on the previous post.
Regards Charlie
I am thinking of buying new HU becouse my existing Hu from Hizpo PX3 7.1.2 is kinda wired, mostly because none of beetter DVR cams do not work.
So I am thinking of this one

anyone have experience with Eunavi HU?
It's similar to the one I have, it has a few problems with my Skoda Octavia.
It boots up every time it powers up taking about 20seconds.
The canbus doesn't work with all the steering wheel buttons.
The default apps are rubbish
The theme is shocking and you can't read the text properly.
Short of the power on issue, it's not too bad.
i see.. original rom I had on hizpo px3 had similar issues, like power up it was even longer.. but with hal9k rom or "malsik" that changed.
I'm still waiting on eunavi sending me the firmware so I can have a look at fixing the problems.
It's not a problem with it booting up each time, trust me.
I have a dash which goes into standby mode and it drains the battery in about 3-5 days of not using the car for a decent drive. I'm forever having to use jumper cables on the battery. I've since installed a switch, although you can use a relay - to make it boot up every time.
I've just bought this unit btw. I'll let you know how it goes in a month. Hopefully it can be modded.
Hi, how is the unit? Have you had any chance to use rca pre outs? I want to buy an android unit but the only thing stopping me is that Subwoofer preout are either of low voltage or doesn't work at all.
The seller claims its a 5v rca pre out for the sub.. Can you confirm this?

same issue here
So I have the same unit and the same power-problem, takes long to startup every time.
Tried swapping +BATT and ACC but that didn't help the drainage.
Also, mine doesn't hold the radio presets and USB2 doesn't work.
Left a message with Ali-E. to help me with this problem.
My car is a 2011 Dacia Sandero Stepway, which is Renault, basically.
**** solved ******
wire was crossed in the pigtail - radio preset hold, eq.settings hold and lots of other stuff fixed by installing Malays full ROM for PX6/STM32
have autI have autoradio android vw Eunavi I need the secret numbers to open the settings and the habit of adjusting the factory.
HI
I have a Seicane head unit. I has been working till today. I have tried soft and hard resets. Power is flowing to the unit.
When i turn on the car ACC switch.....
1. My mazda info display reads Raise Tech
2. the unit fails to boot up
Questions
I am not sure if the issue is on the motherboard or core itself. Is there a way to asses if the core is damaged?
Is it possible to boot off a USB stick instead?
Other suggestion?
TIA
hi I have Dasaita max6 rk3399 mtce android unit, I bricked the unit during an upgrade process. As a result, black screen and my PC no longer detect it when connect with USB. I looked at some threads and people suggest to short the pin when plug into pc and I have a hard time to locate the pin to short. I have attached the board picture and hope anyone can give me some leads.
many thanks!

without displaying images about the android system or head unit device information for example, screen photos when displaying the android system, RAM and ROM capacity, mainboard photos printed with mainboard type or others info, then other members are difficult to help you to solve the problem you have.
Heyyyy guys, so I've got a Dasaita MAX10/PX6 android head unit for my corolla. Bought new in December of 2020. I've never updated it or anything, always ran totally fine. About 2 weeks ago it totally shut off while I was driving.
I've confirmed all of the fuses, including the fuse in the unit are fine. I am also getting ground and 12-14.8v at the harness on constant and accessory. When I did finally pull the unit out of the car I noticed that the ground was no longer attached, but not sure If I yanked it out from where it was when I pulled the radio OR if it came loose and that is what caused it to shut off; either way re-grounding it, same deal. It won't boot up.
I can get the button lights on the screen to light up, and the blink/flash when I hold the RST button, but it never shows anything on the screen. I also picked up another unit (not a Dasaita, just a random cheapo that happened to have the same screen) and hooked that up just in case my screen died. But that does the same thing. Also plugging a monitor into the HDMI out on the unit shows No Signal on the monitor.
I made a wall outlet plug for it to speed up testing since working in my car was a PITA. Same issue outside of the car plugged into a power supply. I can get it to sort of attempt to reset but nothing appears on screen.
I then took the whole thing apart and disconnected all of the ribbon cables and removed the coreboard and reattached everything - same results.
Soooo I'm not sure if my coreboard is totally shot, or if its worth attempting to recover the SOM with a custom cable.
I also stumbled into this: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805119609170.html?spm=a2g0n.productlist.0.0.3b00178e1LqUWJ&browser_id=276e8aff87cc4dabb30f5c59f2bdc799&aff_platform=msite&m_page_id=zetwhgerlccauysr1885ee4fb90185a9d285ecd0a1&gclid=&[email protected][email protected]!12000032566253924!sea!US!0&algo_pvid=d5ec49b7-856f-4398-90ea-6e1e11b2ee01
^^This appears to be a replacement board, will popping this in fix my issue? (if it is the board) or are there additional caveats like drivers/firmware that I would still need to flash this with?
I have been loosely in touch with Dasaita, but I think due to the language barrier and time zone differences it has been a struggle, waiting a day+ for them to suggest something that I have already tried :/
Would love to hear from someone that knows what they are talking about! This is my first rodeo, prior to this though the unit ran fantastically - I had a handful of app crashes in the 2.5 years I've owned it, but simply restarting those apps worked right away. So I'm totally stumped for now.
Thanks guys!
PS: I'm also confused by the Dasaita megathread for firmware updates. They list the MAX10/PX6 needing one firmware but then they list the HCT-RK3399 PX6 needing a different one. My unit was sold to me as a MAX10/PX6 but my board (attached images) shows HCT-RK3399 So in the event that I am able to flash it, I'm not sure which I should be flashing to it.
I have also tried taking both of those update zips from the Dasaita megathread and putting on an SD Card formatted in Fat32 and putting into the units SD Card slot, but same results.
Suggest cut losses and replace with UIS7862 FYT based unit or a genuine AA unit.
