Hello,
I have here a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 with Android 5.0.2. of a friend.
The device came with a subscription to a daily newspaper.
There are two users on the device. An owner and a user (guest).
You can log in to the user, but not to the owner.
Here comes a password request, which she can not remember.
Is there any way to get the password out or delete it?

Never rooted Nexus 7 2012. Just did a factory reset/wipe to get rid of the first 5.0 update because of the lag. I booted up and tried to add a Google account with an app specific password that I generated. It kept saying wrong password. I revoked the old one and was trying to use a new one. It's worked for all my devices so far and I even had one for this device before the wipe. I ended up having to use my actual password for my Google account which I've never had to do on a device. I've revoked and made new passwords for my phones 10 times over. Wonder why I'm having to use a real password for my Nexus 7? Any clues?

Hello folks, I know a friend whose family relative is sick in hospital and he is unconscious, he has a Galaxy note 4, but its locked eith a PIN password and unfortunately, no one knows the password except of him. His wife wants to get some important contact numbers from his phone, but she doesn't know the password neither the pasword of his email account that's the phone is registered to.
They don't know if the contacts are saved on google account / sim card / phone. Is there anyway to get the contact number from the phone without reseting It to factory settings ?
Updates:
They might know the password of the email, but they don't remember the email, is there anyway to get the email with the phone locked ?
My mother sent me a S7 Edge from T-Mobile (SM-G935T) to give my aunt. I received it, removed my mother's e-mail from it, reseted to factory settings and after log-on, FRP popped in. It asked for a email previously configured, so i got my own again and worked just fine. Send it to my aunt that didn't knew how to configure a new email for her and i think she sent for some friends to try it. Everybody apparently got a e-mail there and tried to format, i have no further info about that. The problem is... She sent me the smartphone again and now i can't get passed FRP.
TL;DL: Can't get passed FRP.
FRP lock = To prevent stolen phones to be used. Log in to the Google account you used before wiping.
@Eric1084, the think is that my account is no longer able to log in cause the device was sent to multiple persons that tried and got their account there.

You should contact the people you've given access to the phone, and ask whether they forgot to remove their account from the device prior to wiping it. You can ask them to temporarily change their Google account password, so you can log in and remove their account. Any other solution will be attempting to circumvent Samsung's safety measure to prevent stolen phones from being activated/used.
Hi Guys,
My auntie has forgotten the Email Account and Password that she used during the initial setup. She has also forgotten the passcode. Is there any way I can reset this tablet back to factory settings?

Click to collapse
Not really. There was a time when there were ways to bypass the FRP lock, but Samsung has pretty well locked down the later models. If you have "Proof of Purchase", you can contact 1-800-samsung tech support and send the tablet to them.
