Hello folks, I know a friend whose family relative is sick in hospital and he is unconscious, he has a Galaxy note 4, but its locked eith a PIN password and unfortunately, no one knows the password except of him. His wife wants to get some important contact numbers from his phone, but she doesn't know the password neither the pasword of his email account that's the phone is registered to.
They don't know if the contacts are saved on google account / sim card / phone. Is there anyway to get the contact number from the phone without reseting It to factory settings ?
Updates:
They might know the password of the email, but they don't remember the email, is there anyway to get the email with the phone locked ?

i lost my phone that had no lock on it.
i researched and found out that i can use the same gmail account on both phones. and that's exactly what i'm worried about. i don't want the person that finds that lost phone to log into wifi and use my stuff.
my question is: if i change all my passwords for gmail and whatever other apps i have that require a log in and password, will the lost device also update it?
how do i go about making sure that the other person cannot access my accounts through wifi?
thanks in advance
If you change passwords the lost device needs the new password as well. So if you change it, no need to worry.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
for facebook, yeah it asked for the new password, but for my k-9mail, it did not ask for a new password.
actually, thank you. i was just being impatient because i had changed my password on gmail and my replacement phone didnt ask for me to re-enter my password, but not it did. thank you!
Hi guys. I just got back from Best Buy with my Iconia and set up my wifi. When I'm trying to register with my gmail account (the same one I use for my phone) it tells me the password/account do not match.. it's simply not true though. I've entered it multiple times and double checked.
Just to be sure it wasn't locked I went to my PC and logged into my gmail account without any issues.
Any ideas?
edit: Ok I figured it out. I have the google 2 factor authentication and I had to use an application specific password for my tablet.

My mother sent me a S7 Edge from T-Mobile (SM-G935T) to give my aunt. I received it, removed my mother's e-mail from it, reseted to factory settings and after log-on, FRP popped in. It asked for a email previously configured, so i got my own again and worked just fine. Send it to my aunt that didn't knew how to configure a new email for her and i think she sent for some friends to try it. Everybody apparently got a e-mail there and tried to format, i have no further info about that. The problem is... She sent me the smartphone again and now i can't get passed FRP.
TL;DL: Can't get passed FRP.
FRP lock = To prevent stolen phones to be used. Log in to the Google account you used before wiping.
@Eric1084, the think is that my account is no longer able to log in cause the device was sent to multiple persons that tried and got their account there.

You should contact the people you've given access to the phone, and ask whether they forgot to remove their account from the device prior to wiping it. You can ask them to temporarily change their Google account password, so you can log in and remove their account. Any other solution will be attempting to circumvent Samsung's safety measure to prevent stolen phones from being activated/used.
Hello, I'm sorry but I write with a translator. I note that the phone is not stolen, or found on the street.
I bought a P9lite version of the PRA-LX1 for my wife, the phone was used 2 months and was registered on her Google account. She used to remember the password, after the phone was put into service after the display was damaged, it was cleared and the wife changed its password on google, we can not log in to her account on the phone, all the time we get information to log in to the account assigned to this phone , although we enter the address that was assigned to the phone, the same message pops up. The phone came back cleaned, so I tried to make a hard reset, but nothing was done. Is it possible to upload a new firmware so that the phone will be saved to assign a new Google account?
