I am currently using the Crossbow v1.5 rom in my g4 8125 and was wondering if there was a way to increase my processor speed.. it's currently 195mhz.. which is the factory speed.. is there a way to maybe make it faster?
Is overclocking to correct term?
Any suggestions?
Search the forums. Theres quite a few threads on this topic. Also search omapclock or BatteryStatus (hint hint).
Have there been any programs found to work with the diamond yet? I did do a search but couldn't find anything.
Cheers guys!

And making the back of the diamond so hot you can bake eggs on it? Nahh thanks
Tread carefully.
Hi
can I have crispy backon from back cover ??
I have found this tool for overclocking/downclocking & Enabling Dynamic CPU frequence changing!! on QUALCOMM CPU
Download: Performance.exe
If you try this program, please come back with your findings!
Im using it and its works good for me... Not really of difference
More battery life? with Frequence changing?
dynamic frequency changes would be great to save battery in idle.
i will try the app
Doesn't work. Checked it with Battery Status, the frquency did not change.
Please stop posting this hoax program.
It does nothing.
This has benn discussed realy enough.
At the moment, there is no overlcoking program for the qualcomm cpu.
TDO
Juste for information, in the futur isn't possible to overclock the diamond or all qualcomm chipset 7200A ?
Qualcomm is multi chipset and too hard for overclock ?
Sincerely
seppi
It's almost the same whether i chose 624Mhz overlock.

I guess the htc diamond battery is very good for overlocking. It should last 1 hour?? hehe
i understand the diamon have not a good battery but with 1300mha battery it's better !
Why not overclocking it now
Again sorry for the bad english but i think it's comprehensive ;-)

because there is no way to overclock the diamond at the moment? Why else
i am wondering if there is any possibility to overclock the cpu of the HD as it was possible on old HTC devices with omap processors?
i often found the HD to be very slow and i would like some more speed 9as probably most of us)
would it be adviseble to overclock it?
thanks for any useful info!
would be very cool! i bet htc is running it in a ridicolous safe speed =)
no infos on that matter?
any tech guy with some more experience?
nobody?
i did some research in to the matter, and there are some things that can be changed but i believe its just timeings, at the moment it would appear that you can not adjust the clock speed its self.
Also, changing the timings seemed to have a negative affect on stability, id imagin that whilst the clock speed may be running low, the timings are about as tight as you can get.
anyone tried using Pocket Hack Master yet?
will try it out tonight
I tried it but it didn't work. May not have been the right version perhaps.
It was a few weeks ago so I can't remember what actually happened when I tried it sorry.
there is a dynamic overclocking software for specifically qualcomm chipset. it's good anyway.

i wonder what software that would be?
can you point it for us? any details about it? would it be dangerous for HD integrity?
just installed it, then bells rang..... ur processor is not supported, looked rubbishw when the app loaded up. all distored, defiantely not meant for our wvga. Soooooo whats this qualcom overclocking software... i will explore google see what i can find.....
id give up, i searched for ages to no avail, i believe the only thing that can we tweaked are various timings but it seems that almost any attempt improve these results in instability and crashing.
I'm not really interested in overclocking, but I saw this thread and remembered I saw somewhere else some info on this subject.
Perhaps this is something to try:

WTF?!?!?!anyone tested stability of the 2 day old version?

This won't work - the Touch HD has a Qualcomm processor NOT an OMAP
Yes Please let us in on the action
well, i've saw this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=507798&highlight=overclock , but you guys read carefully, its apeears to be no effect, through if it has, every processor u overclock have its life shortened...i've a blue angel, 400 mhz working at a 200~530, xscale processor can do this (change it's frequency accordinto to the necessary) but i wond the Qualcomm ones do the same (according to the post appears to not, but it's no cleary).
everyone may say...so all you said righ now is a load of crap... Thats not, i'm just sharing wat i've discovered until now, since i've gone to blackstone few day ago.
Blackstone is slow?? I'm about to get it in several days. Please enlight me when comparing blackstone with Hermes (currently using). Thanks

i think most if not all winmo is slow but i love it still lol
Good morning
I'd like to push it a bit with a, to start, slight overclock to see how it behaves, but I'm not sure if the running kernel let me with the app adapts to do so.
I wonder if someone has already experimented and results obtained.
thanks
Hello,
Did you manage to overclock in the end? Id quite like to overclock slightly as the CPU seems to be choppy on the p8
I have same question?
All Of Huawei P8 Lite Users want to know why we see only 4 cores online! And now I am going to answer your question! In The screenshot you can see 0-3 core have 7 files and other 4-7 have only 6 files! So.. Now What file is missing? Cpu Freq file which cannot be written in to system! But We have that cores online, only thing is that they don't have Governor and Frequency Like Mix and max they always stay at 1,2 GHz they can be turned off, just edit the file, and done!
Thanks again! I do Best For You! Hope This will answer all future Questions!
