Hello,
recently i bought new radio for my skoda fabia mk3.
Build: 202104281111
Kernel: 4.19.111 #228 Tue 04 27 11:28:26 CST 2021
uboot-04 28 2021-10:34:43_M11 1280x720
MCU
CNS2_D_04282021_174043_V205
CPU: 64 bit 8 Core Cortex-A53 1.5 Ghz 2048MB
But i have a proplem with the cables i got together with the radio, one says 3g / usb and the other one Android Auto, the problem is when i insert a USB key it is being scanned almost for a minute and when the music starts playing it stopps sometimes after 7 seconds, sometimes after 15 seconds and from time to time it looks like as the Radio SW is completely hung and i get no audio in Radio when i switch to it. The only solution is to completely reboot the radio. Any ideas how to fix it? Is it a cable problem or something different? I am not skilled enough to open the radio, just a newbie looking for some easy solution, if there is any of course.
Thank you guys...

Hello together!
First of all, I'm totally new into Android Head Units so I don't really have a clue about the different versions etc. Also, I am an iPhone user since almost ten years, so I'm also kind of new to Android
I bought a 9 inch Head Unit with the stated down Specs for my Seat Leon (VW Family) which I directly connected via the original CAN BUS to the radio. It runs just perfectly, except for the following two really annoying problems:
1. The radio ignores the ignition. When I turn on/off the ignition (start/stop the car), nothing happens to the radio. I can normally turn on/off the radio, but the ignition has no effect on the radio - the radio just ignores it.
2. The steering wheel setup doesn't work. In general, the volume up/down, next/previous and phone button works by default, but when I enter the setting for the steering wheel and reset the defaults, the radio doesn't recognize the entries ( I would like to change some buttons).
Does anyone have and idea how to solve this? Are there other apps that can control these settins?
Generel questions: Is there a custom ROM available for this Head Unit? If I can't solve the issue, I would probably send it back and would buy a similar one from another manufacturer. Is there a brand where there are a lot of custom ROMs? Or is it all the same?
Sorry for these beginner questions, but I wasn't able to find real answers to these questions :
Thank you in advance!
Modell: PX5
Android Version: 8.0.0
Kernel Version: 4.4.93+
Build Number: px5-userdebug 8.0.0 OPR5....
MCU version: MTCE_LM_V2.75_1
CPU: 8 core 64-bit CPU Coretex-A53 @ 1.5G
Memory: 3891 MB
I've got quite similar problem in my peugeot 508 - 2012. My head unit is:
Android 8
px5-userdebug 8.0.0 OPR5.170623.007 eng.hct.20180321.165038 test-keys
MCU version: MTCE_MX2_V2.83_1
Kernel Version: 4.4.93+
with canbus:
MH (PA-SS-05)20180402
SS-PA0503271018-2
For: Peugeot 2008
P/N 1801300412
Software: PSA V2.27 005BYPS
I have no control over steering wheel at all...and all rest that supposed to be decoded by canbus decoder. In my case I had to connect power line, in the way that bypasses canbus, otherwise I cannot even boot up the device. I don't know if updating MCU would help. My device is brand new with stock MCU updated to 26 of April 2018. I thought that maybe downgrade would be a solution but I've got no control over my device to enter into a recovery mode, so I don't want to brick my HU completely.

Does it turn off when open the driver door?

No you can not change the function of each button because the head unit takes the commands ready from the can bus module. If you want to make your differences then you must cancel the can bus module and an additional interface that makes the can bus , into resistive commands

Solved if you use an FYT based unit.

Hi everyone,
I have bought a Android headunit from aliexpress for my mercedes B-klass W245 which is a full replacement and looks factory.
The unit is really nice, but i have a few small problems and the seller is not replying anymore.
It runs on Android auto 7.1.2
This is what is days in the info screen:
Model: PX3 (1024x600 S)
Android version: 7.1.2
Security patch: 5 may 2017
Kernel version: 3.0.101+ [email protected] #806 Mon oct 16 11:32:44 CST 2017
Build number: px3-userdebug 7.1.2 NHG47L eng.hct.20171018.184623 test-keys
MCU version: MTCE_CHS_V2.65_1 Sep 15 2017 11:43:18
CPU: ARM [email protected] (x4)
Memory 2048MB
Now the problems i have are the following:
- Radio sound is much louder then all the other, like A2DP. I have installed TomTom from the app store, and the sound level is the same as A2DP which is much softer then the radio. Something i can live with, but still anoying sometimes.
- Sometimes the Bleutooth hangs or just does not want to connect. hard restart from unit is neccesary
- People who call me hear them selfs echo. I do have a external MIC attached to the unit. (would be awesome if i could connect the mic that is alreacy in the car from factory.)
- and last one, i have a reverse camera, which i had to mount up side down, is ther a why in the software to flip that screen?
I think some of these might be solved with a software upgrade, or maybe even upgrade to 8.0 if possible? But i do not know what brand headunit i have...
Hope you guys can help
Nobody?
Well, Hyundai Elantra 2013 same unit as yours.
Same issues except Bluetooth!
I have tried replacing the mic. I purchased the unit through seicane and they sent me an "enhanced" model. Same issues.
Hopefully someone replies, subscribing to this thread in hopes!

Hi all,
Just recently purchased this unit: EINCAR Android 10 single din (Model no on the box is HTT-AD9505) I would post a link but can't due to my post count!
The sole purpose of having the unit is for me to be able to view live data from my ECU via an app connected to the bluetooth module on the ECU. My issue is that I can only seem to connect to phones. The settings don't have the usual bluetooth settings options I am used to seeing in android settings, the only place you can access anything bluetooth related is in the units music or phone app. Is this likely to be by design with the firmware? Can I change the firmware to something different that can attach to any old bluetooth device?
The units about device page has the following info:
Android Version: 10
Hardware Info: Quad Core AllWinner - ROM 32GB - DDR3 1GB - 1024x600 - b2
Kernel Version: Linux 3.10.65 - Wed Jan 8 111:19:29 CST 2020
OS Version: HTTC0101-N78-2.4.4.3.12 - IVT - 200108
MCU Version: STM8-20200316-74-HHT-32
BT Version: 3A03
The app I am using is VEMs Display (vems.hu/android/) and the bluetooth device is communicating serial over bluetooth.
Thanks in advance for any help
After trying to install and run Bluetooth scanners, I now realize that the unit is blocking anything that isn’t the pre-installed bloatware from accessing Bluetooth. I now feel I have a giant paper weight!

we have same situation with same car radio and same BT problem, i ask everywhere without a valid answer.
maybe the only difference from us are:
2gb/32gb (instead 1/32in your device)
mcu: stm8-2019 (instead your 2020 in your device)
and maybe something else

Hello,
my device is a STM32-20200403-11-KC1-37 please find the details below. In the settings "about device" where I find the HW, Kernel, OS, etc. Info there is an entry "CAN Version --". I am unable to edit this. How do I set the right CAN Bus version for a Mercedes Benz Sprinter W906 ?
The device came with a CAN Bus Adaptor in a red transparent plastik case - which should be the right one for my Mercedes as I found several compatibilty lists where W211 and W906 are side by side. The sticker on the CAN Bus Adaptor says: BG-BZ01-CAN Bus BG-BZ01-200512 for W211/B200 S/N BENZ32F072 S/W BG V2.00.08 Unfortunately I am unable to find any useful information about this device on Google.
The device also displayed a strange behaviour when I built it in the car. It worked well, but I was unable to switch it off - pressing the on/off button just make the screen blank, but the device drained the cars battery over 2-3 days completely. I think this might also be related to the CAN Bus not properly attached to the device.
Any ideas how to move solve this?
Kind reagrds,
mentos
