Toyota C-HR hybrid is my car, if that's interesting.
no in my opinion the 32pin iso cable where the original rear camera cable passes is not well wired because I saw that there is no power to the rear camera. we have to find the problem and solve it. if you succeed let me know how you solved.

I haven't had any results yet. Maybe you should try pairing the canbus first. It installs an extra app with car setup options.
But I have tried in vain so far, there are too many choices. Although I found my car on one of the models, I didn't get the picture of the reversing camera.
The seller's response today is:
"Did you connect the Cam in port on our power cable to the Rear camera input port on RCA cable."
Of course there is no RCA, there is a canbus.

Maybe that's the solution?
I did it, but nothing happened ...
There are two CAM IN RCA connectors on the POWER harness. I tried both, although nothing from the factory radio is connected to one of its pin connectors.
Hi, is your hu with 360? If so, then k7 will use the 360 cam instead of your existing cam. The reverse cam will only work if 360 app is not running. Try restarting the hu while in reverse. Then as the hu boots the reverse cam will show at for a few seconds.
If hu did not come with 360, then check the reverse cam type.
The rca connector is in B harness not power. It is brown color. Then if you have canbus, it should be automatic. Make sure your reverse cam is terminated properly ie. Power and ground.
i have TEST YOUR SOLUTION, i don't have 360 camera , i have CANBUS WITH BROWN CABLE but i when insert rerar gear not appear. if i open app for vision cam the message is NOT SIGNAL.
i have test at connecting at aftermarket cam and i see image in app. where is the problem of my original cam??

No, there is no 360. But only part of the problem is that there is no reversing camera image!
Unfortunately, nothing works about CANBUS, only the left side of the steering control.
The seller also sent a picture of the camera connection. I repackaged the radio, checked it, everything is as pictured! It also sent about CANBUS type selection, but it is.
No door opening, no radar, no air conditioning, nothing ... Who doesn't have a reversing camera, do the other things work?
I have write to winlink ownice and the result is the camera original not work and seller send me a camera sony! When arrive i test
The problem for me is in the canbus decoder not support rear camera original. Because the original camera is 6v but radio send 12v

For me, Toyota C-HR hybrid is my car. Unfortunately, nothing works about the CAN BUS, not just the factory reversing camera. But I think the Toyota camera is 12V. Now I’m there for the seller to contact the engineer to see if the smooth and hybrid CHR require the same CAN BUS. (There is a different type of hybrid in the Factory menu.)
Today i have test some solution but not work. I have connect rca cable cam at other rca radio connector VIDEO OUT and the video of rear camera when I open apk AUX is work!!! But if I connect to rear camera rca and positive on pin 4 radio back the cam enter in rear vision but not see image. Repeat i connect rca cable cam to AUX VIDEO and red wire Cam ON positive and image work good but I connect rear cam rca at RCA CAM INPUT OF RADIO and red wire at pin. N4 of radio the display on the rear camera but not image!!!! Help for me

Has the promised camera arrived? Now they promised me one too. I hope this already works, although I would have preferred the original to work!
Funny mixture of topics here.
You need +12 V on the reverse cable of your head unit as soon as you in reverse gear. This is just to tell the hu that you're in reverse. You can grab the reverse signal from can bus box or from the wiring harness of your car. Use a multimeter to verify if you get the 12 V. Search for the pin description of the original OEM radio.

Hello guys,
I have a huge deal trying to implement the front camera on Joying JY-UL135.
I have allready the rear RCA camera installed, and it works great with the reverse gear.
I've connected the front camera on the AV-IN, and it works when I use SRC button on AV-IN, but I want it to work as a front camera, so I've activated it in "Factory Settings Menu", but it shows me a yellow ! sign, and no way to make it work.
I've asked Joying, but no good answer. :crying:
Is it possible to make it work somehow? Maybe by flashing with a compatible MCU? which will handle it as Front Camera and not AV-IN?
Thank you,
Cheers,
Front Cam
Did you power the front camera beside's using the RCA.
Damit17, not yet.. this is what i was thinking about... but from 4pda forum, it seems that F-CAM RCA and AV-IN are differnt.
Is it same input? did you tried it?
Post MCU and Android version in [about] so we know which unit you have. Model numbers are almost meaningless.

Thanks marchnz.
My problem is, Joying does not support officially front cam. The unit has only AV-IN.
Would this be because Joying expect the front camera to be a USB camera/DVR as listed in the wiring diagram? The AV input wasnt intended for front camera operation; this is for DVD players, DVB-T TV tuners etc.
Unless there is a way to assign the AV input via [Factory Settings Menu]?

My mtcd unit has a front camera RCA input and an F-CAM power connector. F-CAM app and front camera work out of box with this unit.
If you don't have these connectors and are interested in getting F-CAM to work, follow this thread:

Okay so Im trying to get my Eonon Andoid head unit for my E46 BMW to switch to Reverse Camera when I put it in reverse. I have wired the camera up for power from my reverse lights and ran RCA to the front and connected it to the head unit. This worked fine when my car had an Auto transmission but after I swapped my car to a manual transmission the camera will not auto launch on reverse. It does work as I downloaded an app to open camera and when I put it in reverse the camera shows whats behind me. But if I'm not manually opening the camera app the head unit does not switch. Any ideas?
Eonon may have mislabel the RCA lead, did you try the other video in leads? It should have come on when the camera got power from the reverse positive lead. May also be a firmware issue. Contact Eonon on Facebook and describe it to them. They may send you a firmware update.
I'd like to hear from anyone who has got a PX6 in their Transporter T5.1.
I bought an "SWC" / "Erisin" PX6 4GB/32GB Android 9 HU to replace my PX5. Fitted it and discovered it was not MTCD/MTCE.
I could not get my reversing camera to work with it*. All I got was a flashing "No video signal" message. I sent the HU back for a refund.
Would still like to get a PX6 but need the reversing camera to work. Would prefer MTCD/MTCE. Anybody on the forum done this?
My van is a 2014 BlueMotion 84kW TDI model. I believe 2014 models are a bit "special" electrically. I'm just trying to gather information about PX6 HUs that might work in my van.
(*Longer version: Tried triggering the HU Reversing function with: just CANBUS; with direct connection to reverse light +ve; with connection to +12v via a relay; and connection to battery +ve. (These last 3 by cutting into the wiring bundle as suggested by Chinese technician) but nothing worked. The (rear facing) camera worked perfectly when plugged into the HU's RCA DVR connector and camera now still works with my re-fitted PX5)
Hi there,
Did you make it work eventually?
Here is my experience with a PX6 on my T5 (2009) - will copy paste a post which I already wrote in another thread:
I recently noticed my PX6 unit doesn't see any of the front / rear cameras. With all wires connected the f-cam app shows the orange triangle (no signal) for both front and back cameras. The same happens if I give a 12v signal to the reverse (pink) wire.
I never got to install the backup camera in my car but I did bench tests with a power source and had the cameras working when I first got the unit. Now, a few months later, the cameras simply don't work
I tested with 2 different cameras and also with a DVD player and none worked.
I even opened the unit and checked the motherboard to see if there is a fried circuit or IC...and saw nothing. The video inputs lead to a IC labeled "FMS6502" and the signal gets to it through a 75ohm resistor and a capacitor which both look okay.
What can it be?
So these being said, I am afraid these units have some hardware issue with the front/rear camera inputs.
PS: on my Opel Combo car I have a PX3 unit with working rear camera !

My reversing camera worked if plugged into the f-cam input, but of course this is useless as you need it to be triggered by going into reverse and f-cam input is not. Atleast it meant I could be sure nothing was wrong with my camera.

I think my PX6 was expecting something special in the trigger signal. 12v DC from the reverse light did not work. Nor did 12v DC straight from the battery via a relay. The PX6 wiring loom lets you choose between CANBUS and non-CANBUS configuration. Neither of these worked. I even hacked the wiring on instructions from Erisin in China with no success (They clearly misunderstood their own wiring diagram though, so I never expected the hacking to work).
So these being said, I am afraid these units have some hardware issue with the front/rear camera inputs.

I think you are right. There is a hardware issue. I have a PX5 which works fine with the reversing camera input but the trigger signal has to be 12v DC direct from the battery via a relay triggered by the reversing light.
It was a shame because the PX6 was faster than my PX5 and the screen was brighter. But not having a reversing camera was a showstopper.
Thanks for you reply!
Regarding activation of the reverse screen, I managed to make good use of the canbus decoder box which they sent me from China (first one didnt work, them they sent me another one which recognizes the CAN messages correctly).
So the problem is that the unit doesn't receive the video signal from the camera, although it gets into reverse mode.
Moreover, the unit doesn't show the camera image by using F-Cam app either...hence I believe it is the video controller (FMS6502) that is faulty. I have to check it with a multimeter based on the specs of it...
These units are atractive but they have serious flaws in their mechanical (cheap plastics, buttons, etc) and electronic design.
Sending the unit to warranty in China is a lost cause too...
Cheers

Yes, it sounds like you have a hardware fault. For me it was some sort of incompatibility in the camera signal/reverse trigger.

My Erisin branded PX6 was very poor quality compared to my Xtrons branded PX5. The connectors and the buttons on the PX6 were very fragile.
I was lucky: the UK importer refunded my money, but only after I told them I would raise a dispute on EBay.
Hey guys,
Ive got an Joying JY-UQ135N4G headunit with android 10.
As I have no signal cable for the reverse gear detection, I connected my rear camera to AV IN. When connecting the camera to AV IN there is luckily no need to connect the orange signal cable for reverse gear detection.
Unfortunately the screen does not show any parking lines when using the default "aux" app. (The rear camera app can't be used as the camera is connected to AV IN)
Is there any alternative app that I can use to get the parking lines?
Many thanks & Best regards!
there is definitely an application. Buy another camera anyway because static lines are embedded in the camera chip. I had a DVD reversing camera attached at home and there were static reversing lines in the picture. I have dynamic lines on the radio directly in the radio (application and dynamic rotation of the line is controlled by CANBUS in the car). And I have statics on the camera. I can add pictures. Some manufacturers also offer reversing cameras with the option to cancel static lines or rotate the mirror image (you can cut a thin cable). You can find such cameras on Aliexpress. Or do you want a link?
Hi, the camera doesn't have lines integrated, otherwise they would show up, when the camera is connected to Aux/AV IN. My headunit does have the reserving lines integrated, but only when the camera is connected to the rear camera input, which can't be used as I don't have the necessary signal cable available at the headunit.
When I connect the camera to Aux/AV IN input I can't use the "rear camera application" as the camera isn't connected to that input. I must use the Aux application, but that doesn't have the reversing lines integrated.
Does the radio have no reversing camera signal connectors? If so, you can connect + 12v from the reversing light. This is the signal to start the reversing app. It's for a car that doesn't have a canbus. If you can't find the app with guide lines, you have to buy another camera that already has integrated lines on the chip. If you buy such a camera, the reversing lines will show you both AUX / AV IN and any device
Sorry, but did you even read the whole text ? I thought I described clear enough what I already tested and what the exact problem is.
hi. I understand what you tried. Good luck looking for an app. If you can't find it, the only option is to buy a camera with guide lines to display them on AUX / AV IN. Stay healthy ...
Hi,
I have a klyde car radio with Android 10 and an auto-vox camera with a small monitor as a rear view camera.
Do you see a possibility to bring the radio signal from the camera into the AV input of the radio?
So I could save myself the small display

At least you should give it a try.
You just need to figure out how to get the RVC activated in reverse. The unit itself has a connector for that in combination with the CAN.
@rigattoni
yes I've a CAN-Bus Adapter an get the signal over this. That should work so far.
Kind regards
Armin
nobody has an idea?
regards….
Armin, what are you waiting for?
You have 2 connectors. 1 Cinch cable for the camera and 1 power cable which switches the cam to on.
You just need to know about the voltage the cam is used. It might be 12V, but also can be 6.5V.
Measure the current voltage for the camera and then see if you need a 12V to 6.5V converter or not.
You won´t get a free blessing here. You need to do your homework.
I am absolutely with you that I also have to contribute something.
I've searched numerous times on the subject but haven't found anything. The camera is wireless and the video signal only transmits wirelessly. I can't connect anything to the radio. I really don't want to install a additional cable to the rear.
Sorry perhabs I didn't show that correctly
In this case you are not able to use this camera.
That's a pity. I was hoping that someone knows an adapter from the radio signal to chinch. But because of the encryption it won't work?!
