Homtom HT10 stock ROM Mod for root/ root hide

HT10 Stock ROM with Majisk, Xposed, and Busybox
ROM Version: HT10 6.0-V01-20170622
The System, Boot, Recovery, and assorted app files for the working setup are zipped as a Titanium backup and needs to be installed from recovery within the Titanium app; available as freeware on the Play Store. The file is packaged as a zip for upload, but will need to be unzipped and placed in the root of your Internal SD directory so that Tianium Backup can recognise it and restore to your device. I have included the individual files that were involved, in case anyone feels like starting from scratch. They include the Homtom HT10 ROM, The MediaTek SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1552_Win (whith which to flash your ROM, TitaniumBackup.zip (which you will simply flash to a non-rooted Stock HT10 ROM from the app on the running device), the Systemless Magisk v. 19.0, Magisk Manager v7.1.1 and the Xposed_Framework_(SDK_23)-89.3_(Systemless) by topjohnwu and his intrepid team of devs, and the TWRP 3.0.3 recovery by Mebhius which has proved so very useful.
Stock ROM installed with Majisk. The ROM is rooted, the root is systemless (Thanks to Majisk),additional modules within Majisk include a systemless Xposed Module. Gravitybox added within Xposed. Busybox added as an additional Majisck module. I have included screenshots of the Majisk status screen, Pokemon Go working on an unsigned and otherwise rooted ROM, and of course, the settings About Phone page. My contribution is by no means revolutionary in anyway, but the results are tested and working. Hopefully, until more work can be done in Lineage, this ROM will allow you to have more freedom and flexibility with the stock ROM.
Long and sort of it: I flashed a clean ROM (making sure to flash the TWRP recovery instead of stock, reboot to System, reboot, then, to recovery. Flash Majisk 9.0, Reboot back into recovery flash the systemless Xposed framework, reboot to system, verify install, flash selected downloads, Install the Xposed Installer apk and the Magisk Manager.apk, reboot. Once root is established, it is verified to be systemless, a root exploerer needs to be installed so you can locate the installed bits of TWRP, Mgisk, and Xposed in System/Bin and Xbin, as well as the Internal SD and either rename or move them discretely away from the prying eyes of apps that will try to verify your root and block you. Then test, test, test, and test some more.
I have found that once verything is installed, verified, and cleaned, you can simply Magisk Hide Magisk for Play Services, Play Store, Google Services Framework, and the desired (Play Store app) like PokemonGo. Then, set Magisk to Core Only Mode in settings, Make sure that Magisk hide is selected, Systemless Hosts are selected, Clear the repo cache, clear data for the deired app, in this case PokemonGo, reboot and have at it. Expect some hung boots in the process. Pull the battery and keep at it. Dont be afraid to master reset or reflash and start from scratch. And dear Lord, dont start importing personal data in bulk until you feel youve reached a stable system build and made the appropriate backups.
Or you can simply restore the files I've provided, reboot, and start your testing there. The choice is yours.
I have made similar inroads with the Lineage 13 ROM for HT10, ported by Nukeer9578 with limited success. There is still much work to be done. I would say, however, that Nukeer9578 got me started with working on the HT10 and I'm grateful for the challenge.
If you are new to this sort of thing, I would advise consulting XDA developers, Google web, and Youtube for further instructions; it is all spelled out if you have the time and patience.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Can't upgrade from Lineageos 15.1 to Lineageos 16 (microg)

Hey,
there are already three different Lineageos (microg) 16 builds. But after I am flashing one of them, my Xiaomi Mi A1 boots into complete darkness/ black screen. Any idea what are doing wrong?
Workflow:
boot twrp recovery.img
flash lineage 16 (microg) e.g. lineage-16.0-20190409-microG-tissot.zip
reboot system
-> black screen
When I reflash 15.1 (lineage-15.1-20190313-microG-tissot.zip) everything works as expected! Any idea?
Flash latest stock Pie and then 16 LOS.
Maybe the problem is the recovery. What recovery do you use?
Similar upgrade and failed Lineageos 15.1 install

Hello and good day! I'm planning to follow a similar upgrade path on a HTC M10 running Android 8.0 via Lineageos 15.1 install. Lineageos 15.1 installs with no errors in TWRP, device is rebooted, Lineageos logo crosses screen for several minutes, and device returns to TWRP recovery instead of starting phone. After the second re-install, I installed the OEM boot.img and same outcome. Any suggests how to proceed next?

You should post this in the HTC M10 section or the LOS 15.1 thread for your phone. The solution works here may not work for your phone.
Gudiance appreicated.
Guidance is appreciated and will do. Thanks. Danny.

Open Gapps 9.0 arm64 wrong architecture error

I am on a 6T and am trying to install LineageOS with Open Gapps Pico v9.0 arm64. But the Open Gapps will not install, giving an error that the arm64 Architecture is wrong. This is not correct, the arm64 is the correct architecture. I have checked with this:
Code:
adb shell getprop ro.product.cpu.abi
which shows this
Code:
arm64-v8a
Where can I get the correct one? I prefer the pico for the MINIMAL Google presence on my phone.
I have also tried MindTheGapps 9.0 arm64 but that complains the signature is not correct, and does not install
So ai can install LineageOS using the adb sideload <lineageOS.zip> method, but then not get Play Store to install a few apps.
I have also tried the rather long winded way in this post and have the same problem.
Can anyone give me a working method to Install LiknmeageOS 16 with Gapps Pico.
I have got Lineage to accept the open gapps by repeatedly installing it and TWRP and booting into recovery 3 times, leaving the Gapps until last before doing a proper boot.
However now I just get the logo, and no OS, then it returns to the TWRP recovery.
I am not new to this, this is the 5th device I have used for LineageOS, but never had this bother before.
Any ideas?

Stuck With Shield TV Got Lineage But No Gapps Work?

Hi I have firstly upgraded the official firmware on a Shield Android TV 2015 (Foster) to version 11 Android TV OS then i decided I hate it so I flashed twrp worrked fine got Lineage 17.1 Android 10 on it now but I add Gapps from open Gapps versions ARM x64 nano or pico it doesn't matter which I add if you add any Gapps then it won't boot into the Lineage OS it just sits in a seemingly semi-brick state only ever providing the boot animation circles only it never passes although the system is working to pickup adb otherwise it would be a full brick.
Can someone help literally point out what I need to do to get it working with play store please.
My assumption is it requires a custom Gapps not regular Gapps as is the case with some os's sometimes but i cannot find links to try for anything other than stock Gapps.
Have you installed GApps before initial boot ?

Opengapps install fail A5 2016 a510f - 17.1 and 18.1

Guys. Not first time I install lineage and open gaps. Some time ago I already had lineage after original ROM on my A510f.
I wanted to update Lineage becouse something happens with system. I used TWRP, andsame system installed great but later have a problem with all opengapps (arm) instalation. Maybe not instalation because all goes OK, but after rebooting phone can not start and trying to ask for account. Nothing works. All version of OG checked on 17.1 and 18.1 and different TWRP. Have no idea what I make wrong or what happens, but still this same problem. I wiped all what was possible in TWRP and OG installed from SD. System ok, OG - not. Help.
