One thing I miss when I test new roms is the DualShock drivers, a lot of Xperia devices comes with it in their stock roms.
The DualShock 4 has the blue led and all triggers, buttons, etc work as intended, while we still can connect the controller on basically any other smartphone or Sony with custom roms, the led is white and, in some games, like GTA, L2 and R2 triggers won't work.
Is there a way to bring back the DualShock functionality into custom roms?

So I've got a OTG cable and a PS2 to USB adapter and used them together with my PS2 controller, i plug it in and i can navigate around my homescreen and what not but obviously i want to play games with it like dead trigger, vice city and N.O.V.A, those types of games. I use Gamepad Keyboard and set it up to be 'Touchscreen -> Joystick'. Mapping buttons on the gamepad is fine and the left analogue stick is fine but the right one is all inverted (left and right go up and down, up and down goes left and right) so whats up with that? How do i fix this?
have any of you had any luck with this game? The gyro is backwards so i cant use it. I plugged in my sixaxis PS3 controller into the dock. most of the buttons works, but i cant look around with the right stick.
So im forced to touch screen with snap aiming help. its ok, but the snapping is very glitchy and sometimes dont snap at all. so i am stuck at one point.
Is there any other option here? I would love to use my sixaxis but i dont want to root quite yet (warranty).
Thanks
This is a video for people who dont have a router or nvidia gpu pc, or would like to use their laptop. Its showing hotspot streaming with the PPSSPP emulator and its performance on god of war. Natively the shield cant run god of war at 60fps..so far. With streaming it is 60fps.

Gotta admit, using this method has by far, been my most efficient method as of yet, for streaming.
Okay TC, i'm having some trouble
And the biggest Issue i've come across right now are controls.
1. Mapping Triggers onto emulators. I tried out Dolphin and PPSSPP for streaming.I was able to get the buttons recognized from the Shield Except for the Last Triggers. These would be equivalent to the L2/R2 buttons on the PS2/PS2/PS4 controller.
With the DS3, i was able to map all buttons onto dolphin. Yet I cant get it to work with the Shields Layout
2. PPSSPP Left Analog Stick Trouble. So I map controls, and the Left Analog stick works cool for going down, left, and right. But in terms of going up or forward, it doesn't separate it.
Let me go indepth alittle more.
Dissidia 012? While I can go forward with the analog stick, it also brings up the camera way to far. Same as it would if I used the d-pad to bring up the camera
With Tenkaichi Tag Team? When I go forward with the left analog stick, my character only goes up. He doesn't go forward. It's the same with the d-pad, though IIRC going up in Tenkaichi tag team has always been the case for the D-Pad. But the issue is that I can go forward with the left analog stick.
when I use a DS3 controller however, it recognizes it, and even the R2 button(which was never with the PSP) can be used to speed up the gameplay. While with the Shield, no option of recognition.
Hi all
I have an ATT version of the Note3 running Android 4.3 on Baseband N900AUCUBNB4 - rooted of course.
I have a Sony Dual Shock 3 controller linked through bluetooth via the Sixaxis Controller app and I'm trying to use the controller to play Grand theft auto San Andreas. So far I've gotten it to work, but there is a massive delay when using any button except for the analogue sticks. I've googled this and searched the forums but can't find any information leading to a resolution. All the buttons work, but there is a big delay in the game.
Anybody know how to resolve this issue?
edit:
Issue also exists with mupen64 application. Controller is brand new and never tested anywhere but on this phone... Also I noticed if I disable the native gamepad option in the sixaxis app there is no lag, but then none of the buttons work...
Anyone? Still can't figure this out. The buttons seem to work okay in the main screens but if I launch any game whatsoever it goes to 3 second delay on any button except analogue stick...
Hello,
has anyone here got the Samsung EI-GP20 to work with something else then a Samsung Android device?
It works without problems with my S3 but when i try to connect it to my lenovo s6000 the controls get totally shot.
The D-Pad and Analog Sticks play mouse and all other buttons, but two, play keyboard (a-i).
The remaining two buttons play "tap/click" and "back" as far as i can see.
I tried a few "tools" to configure gamepads but nothing works.
I'm thankfull for every help i get
