have any of you had any luck with this game? The gyro is backwards so i cant use it. I plugged in my sixaxis PS3 controller into the dock. most of the buttons works, but i cant look around with the right stick.
So im forced to touch screen with snap aiming help. its ok, but the snapping is very glitchy and sometimes dont snap at all. so i am stuck at one point.
Is there any other option here? I would love to use my sixaxis but i dont want to root quite yet (warranty).
Thanks

I'm receiving my Imagio on Monday, so I'm eagerly getting together my WinMo files. Has anyone tried PocketSNES, MorphGear or any other emulator on the Imagio? Maybe someone could check it out?

I'm thinking the 5 bottom keys should for sure be mappable which hopefully makes it easier?
with the wvga screen, you could simply use the onscreen controller, that is what i did on my omnia and it worked great
i had an omnia too! pretty awesome phone.
the problem i ran in to with the onscreen controller was the lack of multi touch.
it also messed with the frame rate something awful, maybe that wont be an issue with the imagio though? have you tried it out?
BT gamepad is the way to go from what i have read, but i never bothered since it would mean having one more item to carry around. I noticed the same slow down on fps on my omnia too, whenever you used the onscreen buttons.
yeah its too bothersome to carry around a bt controller.
im going to try to just map the buttons to the volume toggle as well, then it should be good to go.
i dont mean to bump this back up, but ive done a pretty hard search for emulators that will work on the imagio and i havent turned up with much. pocketsnes doesent work, and morphgear works very poorly. has anyone found anything functional?
As you FPSECE fans know, the LG expo Alpha keys are currently not mappable for input.
Anyone working on some sort of fix that will let FPSECE use the hardware keyboard, or am i stuck using my old Kaiser as a blue tooth remote control?
my thoughts exactly. anybody know how to map alpha keys?
I have the same problem, and also when I play gran turismo and hold the key for riding and while I press the arrow, the key for riding is disconnected
sorry for my english
Sorry guys, there is no keyboard fix. The keyboard will not support multiple key presses, only a few keys are mappable, and the screen is not multi-touch... so no on screen controls either. Go snag Cobalt Controller and use a ps3 sixaxis controller. You'll have to re-assign the controller's blutooth mac and then it works flawlessly with FPSECE.
Just an idea
I have an AT&T fuze, and we had a similar problem on our phone due to it not been able to register the keys individualy, but as a hole, what could be the case with your phones. Some developers made some programs to fix this issue, but what really did it for me was the duttythroy Disable xt9 cab, very simple an easy, and you can find it here with search.
If you could try this please let me know your results on this thread, since I was thinking of purchasing this phone.
Thanks for your reply
I use a PS3 sixaxis controller also. I have 2 Dualshock PS3 controllers and 2 regular sixaxis controllers so I just dedicated one of those to the phone. Seriously the most amazing way to play. 58-60FPS Gran Turismo 2 with a controller is phenomenal.
I have read about several people using a PS3 controller to play PS1 games on the expo as well as some people also using the pico projector as well to run the games. So just in case people didn't know the pico projector does work very well in combination with the PS3 controller.
However, that's not for me. I don't want to purchase or lug around either one of those to play games. Part of the reason I initially got the expo over something like the tilt 2 was because of the faster processor, but it's almost pointless if the keys don't work. In all honesty though I really like the phone and wouldn't trade it for another phone after using it, PS1 games or not. But still, if anyone figures out a way or writes a program to get the keys to work please keep us posted.
Using the multi-key function you can overcome a few things. Playing a racing game, use multi-keys to combine the gas button with both the right and left button. This will allow you to turn while still applying gas. Also the multi-keys work to map a single button, this seems to have a better response compared to the normal d-pad buttons.

Thanks for the help. I'll see if this makes it any easier. It would be nice though if eventually someone made a fix for this.

I had the same Fuze phone and I had the same issue with the keyboard, also the fix was to disable xt9, now Im going to buy this eXpo phone, I hope the xt9 fix works too.
Not sure if this has already been addressed? I am looking for a App or some sort of control on my tablet, so that when I am watching videos it locks out the screen. My daughter is almost 1 year old, and likes to watch Mickey Mouse on my tablet. The issue is, she likes to hold my tablet, and ends up turning off Mickey. I wanted to be able to disable the touch screen, or have a certain area to activate the touch screen again. Not sure if there is a app like this? Thanks for any help!

I'm pretty sure mx player has an option on screen that allows you to lock it down while playing, I also find it to be a very nice, straight forward player that runs all my files nicely.

More than that I've been searching for an app that turns off the display completely while hooked up over hdmi. That plus Ps3 controller = replacing the wii in my bedroom. Ha
Is this real life?
This is a video for people who dont have a router or nvidia gpu pc, or would like to use their laptop. Its showing hotspot streaming with the PPSSPP emulator and its performance on god of war. Natively the shield cant run god of war at 60fps..so far. With streaming it is 60fps.
http://youtu.be/0vEK_x-s0zo
Gotta admit, using this method has by far, been my most efficient method as of yet, for streaming.
Okay TC, i'm having some trouble
And the biggest Issue i've come across right now are controls.
1. Mapping Triggers onto emulators. I tried out Dolphin and PPSSPP for streaming.I was able to get the buttons recognized from the Shield Except for the Last Triggers. These would be equivalent to the L2/R2 buttons on the PS2/PS2/PS4 controller.
With the DS3, i was able to map all buttons onto dolphin. Yet I cant get it to work with the Shields Layout
2. PPSSPP Left Analog Stick Trouble. So I map controls, and the Left Analog stick works cool for going down, left, and right. But in terms of going up or forward, it doesn't separate it.
Let me go indepth alittle more.
Dissidia 012? While I can go forward with the analog stick, it also brings up the camera way to far. Same as it would if I used the d-pad to bring up the camera
With Tenkaichi Tag Team? When I go forward with the left analog stick, my character only goes up. He doesn't go forward. It's the same with the d-pad, though IIRC going up in Tenkaichi tag team has always been the case for the D-Pad. But the issue is that I can go forward with the left analog stick.
when I use a DS3 controller however, it recognizes it, and even the R2 button(which was never with the PSP) can be used to speed up the gameplay. While with the Shield, no option of recognition.
My son wants to play Super Mario run on the shield. Problem is needs you to touch the screen to play the game. I thought just using a mouse would work, but it doesn't.
I was hoping there was some way to simulate a screen touch. I tried downloading a couple remote apps but I haven't found anything that works yet.
Any ideas, Is it even possible?
Try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tincore.and.keymapper
I have a Nvidia shield tablet which has a controller mapper built in. Try pressing and holding the start button on the controller.
