No power to unit - Android Head-Units

I have recently changed the screen on my px5 unit and now the unit will not power up. It worked fine before I changed the screen and now there is no power at all.
Is there something I could have done when changing the screen that could cause this? Or if the screen I have been sent is the wrong screen could that cause this issue?
It’s nothing to do with the car as I have put the original stereo in which works fine.
Any help or suggestion appreciated, thanks.
Edit.. fixed now

Glad you got it sorted. How did you fix it in case others have same issue?

[Q] Sound, Vibrate & Volume Button Problem - After Screen Change

Hi all,
I wonder if anyone can help, I recently returned to the HTC scene. Someone gave me a HD2 with a smashed screen Digitiser, everything else worked fine.
I got a new digitiser/LCD, fitted it ok. Now, back together, although there are a few really strange problems. There is no sound at all, either through the speaker or the ear piece, the vibrate doesn't happen and the volume button doesn't work.
Is any of this connected, I can't work it out.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers
Andy
All 3 mentioned are on main flexboard, therefore, IMO, you have a problem with main flexboard or its connection to motherboard: check carefully connector and related portion of flexboard.
Good luck!
Cheers pal, took it back apart and the main flex was slightly out!
I checked that as well, thanks anyway.
Glad you got back in business your hd2!:good:

Android 7.1.2 Head Unit - Screen Flipped upside down and reversed.

Hi, new to forum, looking for some help please.
I have a generic Android Head Unit for a Mercedes A150 which for some reason has flipped the screen upside down and reversed the screen so to touch the screen, you have to think opposite and upside down.
I have tried the Reversing X Camera Off/on setting in extras. No good. tried reset )push pin in hole). Still no joy.
Any ideas welcome.
I have images to post (and link to) but can't due to forum rules until 10 posts made.

Try the extra settings and change the reverse mirror see if that will fix it.

problem with screen - Joying headunit

Hello everyone.
I've been using my Joying JY-UL1282N2 for a couple of years now, and I'm really happy with it. But last week the screen has been making problems. I feel that there's a contact issue which causes the screen to suddently turn off. Pressing on the bottom of the screen bezel causes the screen to work fine. The touchscreen works all the time, even when the screen is off.
Here's a video showing the problem:

I think it's a hardware issue. Is there a simple way to fix this? I really have no need to upgrade the unit, it's still running the stock ROM too.
Thanks for any help!

Screen Issue

Good Day
Hope that someone can help with this screen issue.
I have a PX 5(rk3368)
MCU = MTCE HF v3.55
The problem is that the screen looks like it is asleep. I see that the screen is active but is very dark. and touch does not seem to work.
My phone is connected via bluetooth and when I receive a call, the screen comes to life and everything works...... but only when the a call is active.
When I stop the call the screen goes very dark again and does not respond to touch
Any reason this is happening and is there a way to fix it.
Thank you

Could be a number of things but sounds to me like a software issue. You can either try updating your MCU or go all the way and install the Malaysk MOD.
Frankly, if you have MTCE head unit, you should really use Malaysk. If Malaysk doesn't solve the issue then it's most certainly the hardware.
Hi
Thanks for the assistance. I reloaded the MCU and that managed to solve the problem. I am running an older version of the MCU than that came with the unit but have not had any issues thus far.
Thanks again
