Zen 2 laser use new firmware so it dont use system.img. it change to system.new.dat and i dont know how to flash it....

Put stock rom to sdcard. Reboot recovery
and choose flash file from sdcard.

So you are on MM. First you need to install the stock recovery:
1: Download this recovery: https://github.com/LightouchDev/and...download/3.0.2-0_6.0/stock-recovery-MM.16.img
2: Then from adb command do: fastboot flash stock-recovery-MM.16.img (if you get any errors try to change the recovery name)
3: You should be able to boot in recovery and flash the official firmware: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/ZenFone/ZE500KL/UL-ASUS_Z00E-WW-13.10.7.1-user.zip
Put it in your SDCard and appy update from recovery.
You don't need to do that thing for rooting your phone anymore since the bootloader is unlocked official now:
1: Install TWRP using fastboot boot [your TWRP name] Don't do fastboot flash because I think this will brick your phone ( I didn't test it)
Download this apk: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/ZenFone/ZE500KL/0518-1134_SIGNED_UnlockTool_ZE500KL_AndroidM.apk
2: Install it in your phone and you can unlock your bootloader from the app
3: If you have the bootloader unlocked with the app you can fastboot boot the twrp and install this SuperSu: https://download.chainfire.eu/921/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.65-20151226141550.zip
Now you have root

P9 Lite no ROM - how to fix this?

Hi,
i have a P9 Lite here where i flashed TWRP 3.0.2-0 and LineageOS. I just want another ROM and wiped the internal Storage, including system, data etc.
After this, i get an mount error while i tried to install the Elite ROM, so i decided to reboot and try it again.
Now, the TWRP starts up, but i have no screen on the P9 Lite, but "adb devices" shows me the device.
I also have tried to install TWRP 3.1.1 with the same result. Only the stock recovery gives an screen.
What can i do now?
I hope it's not bricked and i hope i can fix it with my only Linux System.
For any information, just ask.

When my p9 lite was bricked, i founded an other solution because dc Phoenix didn't work with me. Can you access to fastboot mode (vol— + power in usb) ?

Yeah, fastboot is available!

OK, so first, go in fastboot mode, open a cmd fastboot and write "fastboot reboot Bootloader".
If your phone is locked : write : "fastboot oem unlock :your Bootloader code:
Then, download the rollback package MM, and flash the recovery of B160 update (huwaei extractor)
Then, flash the C432 oem info ( fastboot flash oeminfo oeminfodual.img), unlock your Bootloader again and flash the recovery TWRP .
After, you can flash your rom, I recommend C432 B160 MM.
Good luck!

Hi,
thank you for your Tutorial, but this does not work, or i do it wrong, so i repeat my steps:
- shutdown the p9 lite
- press vol- and plugin usb cable
- fastboot reboot-bootloader
- extract the UPDATE.app file, which i downloaded from huawei, this one: http://consumer.huawei.com/np/support/products/downloads/detail/p9lite-np.htm?id=93645
- i get the following files: crc.img, curver.img, efi.img, recovery.img, recovery2.img, sha256rsa.img, verlist.img, version.img
- i downloaded the oeminfodual from here: http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?p=23848404#post23848404, because it was not in the .app file from huawei
- fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (the one from the .app file from huawei)
- fastboot flash oeminfo oeminfodual.img
- fastboot oem unlock (which fails, because the phone already is unlocked)
- fastboot flash recovery twrp311.img, which i downloaded from the thread on xda.
after all this steps, the phone is still not loading the recovery.
did i anything wrong, or is the phone dead?

Your mobile is it FTP blocked? If yes, sorry but I don't now how to resolve your problem.

Fix rom
First from twrp flash the oem file. Second flash rollback file to android 6 from 3key( power vulome up.down) .third flash the rom android 6 form 3key( power vulome up.down)

U have 2 things to do.
1 Flash twrp and flash custom but first unlock bootloader
2 Use dload to some emui 5 ROM or flash rollback file via dload then mm rom

Im going to try it , bootloader is fastboot right, and btw there is no OS . And if I try to install something in TWRP it says Unable to mount /Vendor , I think you've answered that already.

You have probably a bad version of TWRP (vendor not mounted,...).
Find a version for your MarshMallow or Nougat rom (TWRP 3.0.2.0 by Meticulous for MM or TWRP by HassanMirza on EliteRom thread for Nougat) and flash it (fastboot flash recovery YOUR_RECOVERY_IMG_NAME.img) (put .img file on adb folder C:/programs/../adb..)
After that, you able to install a fresh custom rom properly.

NOpe, it is Hassans TWRP, and it keeps saying unable to mount vendor and product, tryed to unlock and relock, different Recovery and dload method but nothing works.
Totally lost

Bricked phone - need a kind a soul

So I wanted to try out a new ROM and flash was successful, but went into a endless bootlogo and wanted to try another one, so I formatted the drive and wanted to do another one. Instead it somehow formatted my whole phone including the SD card. Fastbooter not working and I cannot see the phone on the USB anymore. Also the phone has no recovery and no OS now. So it keeps going into Huawei Erecovery and trying to grab a package but fails all the time.
Is there something I can do to restore it to factory? With just the factory OS and recovery?

After using dload my phone is kinda back to normal.
But everytime I turn it on, it says it couldn't verify and I need to press the power button to make it boot into the OS

when I had thid problem ,I solved it by this way : using Firmware Finder, I update with a full rom ( not just ota, update around 1.6 or 1.8 Go ) and thats all : )

You can try to download the FullOTA-MF-PV from here L31c432&firmware and try with dlod again . Or as sonneper says try to install each part with fastboot

whenever i try flashing the system image i get this error:
FAILED (remote: sparse flash write failure)

is your bootloader locked or unlocked ?even it's show like locked, try to unlock it again

Write in the search box yoyr model e.x. l31c432 , if there is a FullOTA-MF-PV rom download that and try to install it with dload.

Ok i flashed the system , boot and cust image but my phone boots into huawei eRecovery

your phone is not plug on your pc ? in erecovery, can you wipe all data ? that's what I did on mine , I had try many restart trying different buttons combo until I can wipe all data, hop, it was fine after.

When I did it, it was with B130, maybe you can try...

just wiped data in twrp, still just boot into eRecovery

Here ROM STOCK NOUGAT FLASHEABLES you can find roms that can be installed from twrp, you may try it.
If that not works you may try Italian Knife or try Huawei Multi-Tool 8 to unbrick your phone.

Bricked P10 Lite (Only fastboot works) WAS-LX3

Was trying to flash the SIRIUZ rom to my P10 Lite with TWRP, so i wiped Dalvik, cache, data, internal storage, system. Unsurprinsingly the rom didnt install, but for some dumb decision I rebooted the device, and now it doesnt even show any screen! Cant access twrp, nor fastboot(The phone is recognized when pluged in to Windows and type fastboot devices in cmd).
Tried flashing system.img and boot.img but still, rebooting and nothing shows up.
Has anybody exprienced this? If so, please reply!

I`m not the only one having this problem, thats sad

Just take a service ROM extract and flash userdata.img ! It has a size of about 724 MB flash it along with some critial partitions like recovery,recovery 2 and others. This should fix it.

If your bootloader is unlcoked try fladhing twrp and booting into there, then download the flashable stock formware and flash it via twrp
If it doesn't work you have to pay 15$ for DC Phoenix or try to get a warranty repair.. but completl brick it first so they can't proove it's your fault

If it doesn't work you have to pay 15$ for DC Phoenix or try to get a warranty repair.. but completl brick it first so they can't proove it's your fault

So your screen is black when your pc detects fastboot?
If that is the case then you won't solve anything by flashing the normal partition, use DC Phoenix.
