The phone would start and all of a sudden shut off and either stay off or it would turn back on but go into the download mode, and very rarely it would turn back on properly, so being the hard headed 20 year old i am i tried to flash it without consulting help first
i have no idea what i did but now the device only loads into download mode (if it even turns on) ive tried to flash it properly now and it comes up with an error

Hope it doesn't have an emmc problem.
Which files did you try to flash or was it just one?
If they latter use samfirmtool to download multiple part stock ROM by checking "binary nature" in its options.
As you are flashing one older ROM an older Odin might hekp as well not to mention other cables/USB ports.
it looks VERY emmc issue
and since you did not seek to get educated first, before doing anything... well you end up here
we try to help
so
read here, maybe it will work for you

Hey
I have a big problem with my galaxy S4 (i9505). I rooted it yesterday with CF Auto root and installed twrp. Then I wanted to install miui, formatted my whole internal storage, and then it didn’t worked. So now I have a phone without os. When I try to install the stock firmware through Origin, it says “failed”.

The phone is still in dw. Mode and says “SW REV. CHECK FAIL : fused : 3 , Binary : 1”. To leave the dw. Mode I have to turn it off. At the next reboot it says “Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.”, but I have never seen/ found a recovery mode in kies. So I flashed twrp again. If I try to flash a firmware through twrp, it seems to work, but when it is restarting and the Samsung Galaxy S4 screen shows up, it says “kernel is not seandroid set warranty kernel” at the top, then the screen gets black and nothing happens, but I can still get into download or recovery mode…
I tried every USB Port I have, and 2 different stock firmware versions (4.2 and 4.3). The firmware I tried to flash through twrp was Hyperdrive RLS10
Has anyone an idea what I could do? I have no idea- is it bricked?
Thanks for your help
It's failing on bootloader so I think you have new bootloader that you can't downgrade ROMS. If you go to download mode (power +volume down) can you see a line about KNOX? If so you have new bootloader and can only flash firmware with same bootloader, MH8 and newer (I think).
You could always download (using PC and ext sd card) another custom ROM and fash via recovery so you at least have a working phone.

Yes, but as I said, when I try to Flash a Rom its Not booting....
And I already tried to flash the new one (M919UVUAMDL_M919TMBAMDL_M919UVUAMDL_HOME.tar.md5), this should be the 4.3...
No you are flashing the wrong firmware.
You have an i9505 not an M919!
Go here and flash 4.3 MJ5 firmware in Odin and you will be good to go

Hey guys!
I'm working with the I9505 at the moment.
I flashed Omega rom (Version 40) and the Wifi stopped working..
To fix it, I went to Sammobile and just went ahead and got the Stock Australian rom (So far I've tried with the stock 4x roms and none are working, even though the phone was at 4.2.2)
The phone won't take anything from Odin.
I get a "Fail" after trying to flash things to the phone.
The messages aren't always the same, depending on what I'm flashing. The most recent from odin is as follows:

Almost all Odin errors can be resolved by the following:
- Different usb port
- Different usb cable.
I9505XXUGNH6
should flash just fine.
The first one you flashed is 4.3 and you probably can't flash that anymore.
Hi!
I got it fixed (I think. Still got some testing to do) by booting the phone until it displayed something along the lines of 'Firmware update error recovery' and THAT 'version' of Odin allowed me to add the "I9505XXUGNH6_I9505XSAGNH1_I9505XXUGNH6_HOME.tar.md5" file
Not sure how that's any different from Odin but yeah, the phone boots, Wifi is on.. everything is fine. Going to try to add Root and TWRP later tonight though
Hello,
I've been trying to upload the Telus Andorid 6.0.1 to my Samsung S5 and have been unsuccessful. I continually get "Complete(Write) operation failed".
I have tried versions of Odin 3.09, 3.11 and 3.12 to no success.
I have ensured the driver of the S5 is on the computer (Windows 7, latest patches).
I have used multiple cables (OEM) and ports (front and rear).
I am in download mode (power, volume down, and home button).
Finally, Kies has been fully removed.
Here is what I'm trying to install: G900W8VLS1DPF3_G900W8OYA1DPF3_G900W8VLS1DPF3_HOME.tar.md5.
Here is a snapshot of the log.

I'm doing all of this because my stock phone is bootlooping. I tried a new battery and it did not resolve my issues. Any help would be appreciated as I've searched this site and others for multiple hours and I'm now stuck on the firmware update screen telling me to recover using Kies (not the logo). It automatically starts there.
Thank you.
Hi
You're sure to put the phone in download mode?

Hi, yes I'm in download mode (power, volume down and home button).
Also, I noticed I miswrote something and have corrected it. I meant to write:

G900W8VLS1DPF3_G900W8OYA1DPF3_G900W8VLS1DPF3_HOME.tar - same file as above but from a different download site.
What is the line after:
<ID:0/007> tz.mbn
that causes it to fail?
Don’t use the usb 3 cable, the old HTC and BlackBerry cables are the best as theyre 21 pin connectors. Where are you downloading the tarball from? Sammobile.com/firmwares is the only truly reputable place altho there are many sites that have them as well, but if youre having trouble flashing them, get a tarball from the source directly. I agree with a previous post, try a different port, different cable and fresh download. One of those is bound to work.
Sorry for such a late reply. I am still unsuccessful with the S5. Redownloaded from Sammobile
G900W8VLS1DPF3_G900W8OYA1DPF3_G900W8VLS1DPF3
I loaded a Note 4 with Odin 3.12, a micro-USB cable, and this specific USB port and it woudln't work with the S5. Is it possible that there is internal hardware damage shorting something?

i guess its possible, but id try a different odin version before i jumped to that conclusion
Ok, so somehow I got the phone to boot up and go through the setup menus, then it failed.
It then rebooted and displayed
Set Warranty Bit : kernel
I now ran ODIN again.
This was on the phone

Knox Warranty Void: 0x1 (1)
Qualcomm Secureboot: Enable (CSB)

and this was the output within odin:

try with different odin version, like 3.11, also reinstall drivers or flash using another pc
Just rebooted phone and got this.
Recovery Booting.....
Set Warranty Bit : recovery
Also, tried with 3.11, no success. Drivers have been reinstalled twice over.
now it hangs at tz.mbn before failing.

ive had that error a few times before when using the stock samsung cable. do you have another cable? preferably an old school blackberry or htc one. The older cables from those manufacturers seems to have always worked best for me and others
Please help my Note 3

I'm flashing this (ALL_KTT_N900KKKU0GOC4_N900KKTT0GOC4_CL4362511_QB4250245_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar)
Cannot do factory reset because I'm just stuck at this.
I Would try and find a Korean forum for your model .
Nil information of N900K found and no firmware sorry.
I have replaced the cracked display and after the replacement, Samsung logo is stuck on the screen. According to the guy from the repair shop, a firmware update is necessary. So I have downloaded the file from here:
https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-note-3/firmware/SM-N9005/TMS/download/N9005XXSGBRI2/244008/ and followed the instructions on the site (install Odin, boot in download mode, start update). The update failed with the following message on the screen:

I have searched XDA forums and found advice to use PIT file. Among others, I've used this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2503547
After firmware update with PIT file there is the same error in Odin:

Now after a reboot following message appears on screen: Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.
- I have installed "Smart Switch PC" version 4.1.17054_16 (since this is the last one that supports "Emergency software and initialization")
- Opened the tab "Device Initialization"
- search for model name: SM-N9005
- type in serial number
The dialog says: SM-N9005 does not support initializing. Please contact our service center.
Any suggestions on what to do next? I just want a functioning phone, I do not need any custom roms/bootloaders/unlocks. Thank you.

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=odin+fail+at+hidden.img
Thank you for the tip. This helped me with the error " Firmware upgrade encountered an issue" now I am back at the "Samsung Galaxy Note3" logo. Booting into recovery mode also does not work as the logo stays on the screen with the message "RECOVERY BOOTING...". So I am back at the beginning. When I was troubleshooting the issue I was searching for "Samsung galaxy note3 stuck on logo screen" (and its variations), or searching for error messages from the logs. Maybe I am asking the wrong questions. Is flashing the firmware the right way to fix my problem that was originally caused by replacing the broken display?
just find a stock android 5.0 flash it with odian in download mode. a replacement screen shouldn't do that to your phone unless the screen u paid for is fake or incompatible with your note 3.
