Hi all,
I purchased a PR7846B Xtrons 8.1 head unit for my BMW 3 Series back in February. All was working fine until I tried to change the boot logo to have the BMW logo instead of xtrons. It now gets stuck in the boot loop and I’ve been struggling to find help. I got given an update file from the manufacturer and tried to install it through their guidance however even though it says it successfully updated, it immediately goes back to the bootloop.
Please help me fix this, I’m no tech expert and don’t know what I’m doing with this. All articles and help are showing phones and as you’re aware, there’s no volume button on this so you can’t replicate the steps exactly.
I’ve got videos and pictures of what the update process looked like when I tried it, appreciate the help in advance!

I have a huge problem with my Alfawise A9 Plus 4/32 with rk3188
It suddenly stopped working and it stays fixed on the boot logo, I tried the reset procedure by the button but it doesn't work.
I can't find any stock firmware on the web and the manufacturer is not responding to my email requests.
Can someone give me a help?

I am in a bit of a bind... I have an AOTSR A764H Android 6.0 head unit which is stuck in a boot loop so I cannot see the MCU. Took me a week just to track down the make of the head unit. What can I do to fix the boot loop issue?

I have a bmw e60 with android unit 4.4. Before 3 months suddenly the unit does not boot and stuck on boot logo android. I have contact the seller they send me 2 firmware until now. One with file update.img and one update_force.img. I have make an sd card with sd firmware tool but when i put the sd in the unit it make the same thing to stuck on boot logo. The size of the file is 738mb. Is that correct? What can i do to make my unit work again? The camera and the original menu of the car working but ndroid not. Some specs about is unit 8806 with 1280x480 screen resolution and rk 3188. Any help? has past 3 months and i cant fix it with seller solutions.

My head unit is stuck in bootloop. It's an xtrons Android 10 PX6 unit MTCE_GS_V3.67_3 (Nov 7 2020).
I tried to flash Hal9k with the modinstaller downgrading to Android 9. Got stuck in bootloop.
That can happen. So I went back to Android 10 again and installed CHS2_RK3399_10.0(20200424)img via SD - stuck in bootloop.
I have access to recovery though and tried wipe cache and factory reset.
I tried to find help in old threads, pressed with 5 fingers on the screen during boot-up, and tried tapping on the screen.
The unit is connected to a DC power supply on my desk and I always disconnected power between all tries. No success.
Any more ideas?

I have a similar issue with Ownice C800 PX6 rockchip 3399, i changed an option on the setting to have it default to off instead of On, after it rebooted nothing shows up on the screen. i can access the recovery menu and did a factory rest and nothing happens, i installed
Malaysk ROM for PX6 RK3399 with Android 10 and the update was successful but still no boot at all, the recovery log shows failure to create file in memory. not sure if the setting made the memory protected and why the boot is failing.
My apologies previous threaders I cannot fix your bootloop, but have similar problem.
Question to bluefreak, how did you get into recovery mode?? from a bootloop??
My original item is a 4gb ram 64 gb rom, px6 unit, previously I put a russian rom flashed via update to system on it, I think I paid 20 usd for it and it worked a treat until my son used the car, several years past warranty. And it has gone into bootloop.
I think the flashed rom was Malaysk?? I may be wrong.
I have a reset button, held it in for a minute still bootloop, connected another rom via usb and it will not flash, just bootloop. I have also attempted many methods from google and youtube.
