[Q] serious problem!

hi every1
5 days back i rooted ma phone with the help of universal androot
later i installed titanium back up n the most stupid thing i did was i un installed all the google applications on phone with it
now im unable to download applications from market
market doesn open at all
later i came to know that theres some sort of connection bwn market n gtalk n other google applications
now im unable to install gmail n other google applications back in the phone
plz help me folks

Rooting HTC Hero GSM 2.1-update-1 (3.41.61.31)

Hi lads,
So I've been trying to root my HTC (Hero GSM 2.1-update-1 (3.41.61.31), originally Orange Spain, but unlocked by code) for few hours now, haven't managed yet. All the articles I've found about rooting this phone seems to be quite old and none seem to be more recent than the latest OTA update they've sent.
Even the latest version of Androot (1.6.2 beta 5) doesn't seem to work; I keep getting a Failed ! No ~~~ Fu goo ~~~ seemingly clueless error.
Found some more hardcore ways to do it, but then again, all of them quite old and no one confirming if for the current version - I don't want to end up with an expensive paperweight
I want to root it in order to install the latest Froyo ROM (Oh, and if anyone have serious reason for opposing to the villainrom 1.7, I'd appreciate a headsup)
Please, could anyone refer me to the definite how-to-root-this-thing?

Are you from Spain? I am and I spent all night trying to root or upgrade to some kind of distro, but there was no luck...
I had the same firmware and update as you, and... at the end I'll get it! :]
The thing was just go to htc page to download the "latest" drivers for your HTC Hero Orange (important to be orange cuz if not it won't be able to download -also it would ask for a serial number, just write it on-).
What you downloaded now is just to downgrade your cellphone and override all newer updates... Then your phone will be back in time to 1.5 (dino-droids!)
Yeeeey! I did a big party after that ¬¬
Well... then all you have to do is follow the steps for a common htchero unlock... you can apply androot, and put some roms and that...
En mi caso, me ha quedado un Hiro! de la ostia! :] va sobradamente más rápido que antes.

Could you give me a bit more detail how did u downgrade the phone. where and how did u install the drivers?? I did not find the orange drivers in the htc site.

I have the file but you must have ADB installed on your computer, do a search and let me know

Hi, bit of a learner on this rooting milarky but I want to root my Hero which is a UK T-Mobile on 2.1 update1.
Would I need to follow the guide that you posted? Only I have read about a gold card method.

[q]BIG HUGE MARKET PROBLEM ((((SOLVED))))

I can't download anything from Market!!!
I am using cyanogenmod 7.0.2.
Problem started when market self update to version 2.3.6.
I restore to 7.0.0. where the market worked well and it works until again self update version. 2.3.6.
I try clean instal from beginning, cm7.0.2. and Gapps-gb-20110307.
Same problem, i download one or two apss and then market update to version 2.3.6 after that i stuck on starting download + i cant download gmail, gmaps, voice search, you tube...
Everything else working great, btw this is my first problem.
Thank Kalim and guys from cyanogenmod team for this great ROM.
My phone is monster except this problem with MARKET.
Please Help.
AGAIN PROBLEM NEW PROBLEM
After many unsuccessful attempts with Market and CM7 I installed nFinity 1.02 rom ,first time without succes(MARKET) same thing with market. Second time I created new Goggle account and at the begining everything seems to be normal but later, again stupid Market PROBLEM stuck at starting download.
Someone please help!!!!!
SOLVED!!!!!!!
Solved is because problem was not in the market at first place. For me Market work on Wifi and not on mobile data(you can see apps and can't download).This also happens with YouTube app (you can see only preview you can't watch videos)

I AM IN SERBIA AND I've tried several different Android Phones, ALWAYS THE SAME.

If this is the only solution i am going to instal this rom.
I love my tattoo with cyanogenmod but this just annoys me and I love that everything is working perfectly.
I THING MARKET 2.3.6 IS PROBLEM.
People around the world have problems with this version of Market.
Can someone else confirm this?

Confirming, same problem with market, i try several things but nothing, stuck with download.
One thing is sure, it is google problem, old version of market on 1.6 android works fine, this new patch is making problems, and even if you remove update still nothing.

I've tried everything but without success.
Clean instal, restore from backup cm7 rc2.2, cm7 rc4, cm7 rc4.1, even clean instal with earlier versions of gapps.
Market patch + editing and flashing Build.prop
Market simply does not work.
Again stuck with download.
Maybe problem is because I am in Serbia same as you "kejd".
This is for me best rom and I don't want to leave it because Market.

It is not only Serbia, i've googled it out and saw that several other countries have same issues with market, but it is random as i can see. Enyway, market seems to update itself always to 2.3.6 version and then stuck...it quite idiotic situation

I am only left to wait for a newer version of Market perhaps it correct the problem. Otherwise there are always other ROMs with working market. If someone finds a solution please let me know. I can wait.

problems connections

hi everyone.
after i install the last rom and the last kernel of miui, i could connect any more to the internet, in any roms that are aveilables, oxigens miui void, any of them.
in the simbol of 3g, it seems that i can send information put i cant download it, so its like dont have connection. i have install since yestardays more than 20 times differents roms i have use apns aplication also and nothing is working
please i need help

Can you flash a stock ROM and check if you have problems?

Flash the latest stock Rom available (maybe B138 http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwi...hod=toDownloadFile&flay=software&softid=41189), then put CWM back and flash any custom Rom again. Make sure that you flash cache, system and dalvik cache.
This is for the unlikely event that your firmware got affected by the custom Rom drivers.

Zte Nubia z17 lite

Good afternoon,
Im new to this forum im trying to get some help for my nubia z17 lite,i started a thread here because i didnt see an option for nubia z17 lite, if anyone can move my thread or direct me to something i miss i appeciate it. S
So recently i got a z17 lite and i moticed i couldnt spoof for pogo because the rom installed was constructing me, so i started my adventures for the first time on installing a custom rom on my phone, i did alot of things and in the end i think i royally messed it up because my entire intneral storage got wipped like not a single thing exists on it.
I cant even hold the volume buttons + power button to get into bootloader anymore and the last thing i tried was installing qualcomm as a port in my device manager to see if i could use nubias emergency recovery to reset back to the rom i purchased it with. My issue tho is i cant even get into bootloader. Does anyone have any guides they can point me too or is ny phone completed fried and should just use it as a paper weight

mogu razgovarati i citati ali ne mogu pisati najbolje, I cant install the Qualcomm drivers everything i try it just refuses to be installed correctly ive tried everything running install as admin and even trying to do it manually, unless im doing something completey wrong but i doubt it, my tcp port always seems to have that little yellow warning icon over it, i feel like if i can get the qualcomm drivers installed properly i can do the rest, i even looked for other guides installing it but nothing came up
