I've had a TicWatch Pro 2019 version for a few months. It was working fine until I changed my phone and had to reset my watch to use it with the phone. The installation process went OK until I reached the part where I have to copy my Google account from my phone to the watch, which it failed to do. I skipped the account copy part and continued with the installation. When it finished I tried copying the account again, with no success. I tried resetting the phone, the watch, uninstalling and reinstalling Wear OS, disabling WiFi during the copy process, none of which worked. I then tried it with my old phone, my wife's phone, my tablet, and none of them would transfer the account either.
So I reported it to Mobvoi (the watch manufacturer) who said the watch must be faulty and I returned it for a replacement. I received the updated TicWatch Pro 2020 version today. And it is doing exactly the same thing. I can't get my head around this at all. Can someone give me some assistance with this? Where amI going wrong? Is it a known Wear OS issue?
I don't believe I am the only person to have encountered this issue.

So I have the droid 2. r2d2 if that makes any difference.
My mom got it with verizon in early 2010 I believe, and used it unil her 2 year contract came up for renewal in august.
At that time, she upgraded to a droid 3, and passed the droid r2d2 on to me.
Since receiving the phone, I have not had any cellphone plan of any kind. No calls or texts, I treated it like an ipod touch.
About a month ago my mom did something (updated it, cleaned the sd card and such or what I cant remember)
and now every time I try to run an app, it comes up with this error message that says Internet Required - Please connect to the internet to run this app.
I don't know why it does this. Some of the apps work, like camera, camcorder, meridian, calendar, alarm clock etc.
But not most of my gaming apps like angry birds and such. Behind the error message, the app is running just fine, but if I press okay on the error message, it backs out of the app. I've tried connecting it to our wifi connection and its unresponsive.
My next step is to bike to McDonalds and see if their wifi works with it.
Anywho, I searched tediously on the interwebs to try and find a solution to my problem and could not. Help? (When the problem first arose, my mom did a factory reset which failed, so she used a backup point. Still had the error message.)

I've never had this error, but think I've seen others ask about it
try airplane mode, then turn on wifi
can you connect to play, do you have a google account?
update may have required apps, connect to play, for compatibility check
in settings/system/ about phone is system version 4.5.622?
update may not have worked correctly, factory reset will not fix that
may have to reinstall firmware with rsd lite, .SBF file and moto drivers

Hello everyone,
I am having trouble setting up me OnePlus 3T with Ticwatch E. My account won't copy to the watch - I have tried all of the listed solutions.
Checked on my secondary phone and the installation went no problem.
Tried everything listed here including deleting app data, cache, turning on/off wifi on both watch and phone, readding accounts.
Funny enough when I created another google account it copied no problem.
Can I please ask for some help regarding this matter?
Cheers, Greq
Sorry, I know this post is old but I have the same problem. Different phone (Android 8.0) and different whatch (Wear Os 2.0). Could you finally fix it? I've already tried everything you mention in the post.
In my case it was a really stupid reason. The Watch was connected to my repeater while the Phone was connected to the router directly. So effectively they were connected via two different networks. I went through all the other steps, as mentioned in the different threads, but at the end this was the root-cause. #Facepalm (if you ask me)
Anyone facing this problem? My google pay is inconsistent when on public transport and in retail stores.
Could it be software issue?
Can you type Oxygen version, root or no? And can you find in Google play settings certification of you device?

Also having problem with my NFC with public transport.
Never work for public transport before, but ok with retail payment
my is Oxygen OS 10.5.10.IN11AA, no root.
not sure if this is the Google Play Cert
Version 20.6.19-all [0] [PR] 316598174
OOS 10.5.10.IN11AA
Google Play Services Version 20.21.17
Google Pay Version 2.111.306
I tried toggling on the '' non standard NFC tag support '' in developers option. Doesnt work as well.
Many op8p users also faced the same problem in my country.
Tried re-adding my cards several times, cleared cache of google pay, google play services, google framework.
Downgrading app versions.
On public transport, my phone just vibrates and will prompt " does not work " or " move closer ". Never worked, receiver receive nothing.
In retail payment, it worked about 90% of the time with 10% requiring to tap twice.
I have similar issue.
- I use polish banking application that uses NFC for contactless payment.
- In retail payment, 90% of the time is successful, 10% requires to tap again.
- In vending machine almost every payment is rejected (I got 1 successful payment but I can't reproduce it again). I used same banking application on my xiaomi mi8 with same vending machine and worked good.
- I tried google pay and it doesn't work too (at least it shows some error on screen)
- no root, oxygenos 10.5.9.IN11BA
In conclusion it's not a problem with google pay but with nfc as other payment apps have same problem.
IIRC on the teardown video, the NFC chip is in behind the camera. It's maybe in too deep inside the phone for it to work correctly everytime.

Came looking to see if I was the only one with an NFC issue
Mine has been working perfectly since I got the phone, then yesterday I went to use it at a POS in a shop and it wouldn't work......move closer/slower etc. so I used my bank card itself.
I got the train and said I had low balance when I got off so went to top up my leap card (Irish transport card) and it fails the second it tried to read the card.
FYI I have sucessfully topped up my leap card dozens of times on the phone.
Next I went to get something to eat. I tried using it at the restaurant POS and worked first time, no problem.
Then this morning I just tried using it in shop POS and everytime it pinged and gave me a tick mark and showed the card as if it completed OK but the shop unit did not register anything (I also know the transaction did not go through as revolut did not show the transaction). I used my bank card and it worked.
I have just tried my leap card again and it is still not working.
This is very frustrating as I use NFC payment everywhere.
Anyone know if I can see logs for the NFC chip?
Why did it suddenly just stop working, I haven't had any updates.
Running Oxygen OS 10.5.12.IN11BA
Play services Version 20.33.14(120400-327249014)
Google Pay Version 2.116.328438545
Not had this problem before, could your case be the cause? Or anything else in your hand?
The range has impressed me with mine.
Currently rooted and using xXx and Gpay is still good.
It looks the oneplus 8 pro nfc chip is very weak. For me the strongest signal is under oneplus logo on the back. I found out the nfc chip is under the keypad at vending machine (not under display). Now to make it work I must keep my phone very closely to the terminal.
I need to get close on a number of NFC readers...no biggie.
GPay is working in my watch, for now atleast. I've seen an xda developers post where someone got it working (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-gpay-in-unsupported-country-yes-india-too.4262597/ )
So I've been scratching my head since, then sadly thay method didn't work. It's saying that gpay is already installed on my watch, tried abd to remove it and it didn't work. So I've reset the watch and while setting it up, I switched on vpn on my phone to us. And guess what it worked and Gpay showed up in the app drawer. Tried to set the card up and it actually worked, but in the middle it asked me to choose my google account, it kept loading, so tried turning off vpn and now it's working flawlessly. Some times when i open gpay it says not available in your location. Then I've connected it to my phone with BLUETOOTH, not wifi mind me, with vpn connected and after sometime again it is working. It is working after a reboot too, hope it stays that way. And I've tried to make a payment at a supermarket and it worked. Looking forward to use to more often. And i forgot to mention that I've updated all apps through PlayStore and still it didn't disappear, but i got a system update and didn't update yet thinking it might disappear.
I'll update the thread if something happens. Peace
Hi All,
sorry this is a long first post, for a new user...
Fairly sure I was a member in the past but lost my logins..
History !!.. our 4 year old Philips 50PUT6400/12 Tv has been pretty good since we bought it. recently had issues with HMDI not working, even tho' the Tv sees things plugged in.
Did a reset .. did not help ,
So did a reinstall from the menu. thats when it all went wrong. TV restarted but hung up on the Android Logo, multiple power cycles .. no help.
On to Philips Tech Support who were pretty unhelpful as its out of warranty. They sent links to the latest firmware Upgrade ( 2018) and thats all they wanted to do.
Managed to find how to get to the Recovery Menu ( philips never mentioned this ) and used the file from the USB . no improvement but went furthter into starting apps screen, and hung there.
Started thinking about spending cash on a new tv.
Tried all the things found on the net ... until I found the Wipedata for our TV file on here.. used it , and it came back saying it hadn't done anything ?
then after couple more days of faffing about I downloaded the philips file again and installed it from the recovery menu, and .. it worked so cash saved and hassle from family gone .
But now to the current issue ... We have A Disney+ account , but cannot get the App, well any apps not on the Philips App page, as we cannot login the google account.
It seems from info that its because the playstore app in the TV is too old .. and it cannot be updated cos we cannot login.. catch 22..
I'm now a developer in the system and unknown sources is on, but cannot download anything, and playstore on the web says we have no devices?
Any suggestions on how to force any app or update on to this TV, the browser is crap,
cheers
C
Acutally managed to sort this out .. i ended up setting the 2 stage security up on the tv's gmail account using my PC , and it allowed me to use my mobile to access the account login. panic over .
