you make no sense. T580 never got 64bit system, but someone made custom and it works 100%. So what exacly isnt supported?

you make no sense really lol.. ur mad at samsung for not releasing Q on t515 as x64 system.. theres a difference between samsung "officially" supporting x64 system on these tablets and a dev making an "unofficial" x64 system, they are two different things..
samsung released the devices and provides official firmware.. clearly they are not supporting x64 system on the tablets.. if they havent been providing x64 system and still arent its bevause they arent going to and any x64 system we might get would be "unofficial" and of course not supported by samsung..
its possible as u stated someone did it on the 580 so i see only two options if u want an x64 system, 1. You make it yourself or hope another dev does or 2. You buy a tablet that samsung officially supports and provides x64 system in their official firmware.
im not trying to sound rude or anything so hopefully no one takes it that way (i am always like this lol).
I umeerstand its frustrating some ppl that dontknow how to build their own firmware/roms but I also assume its a lesson learned if it means that much to ppl and they will do more diligence next time they shop for a tablet. i personally dont mind as it does what I want and was dirt cheap compared to the flagship tablets. It definitely does have a closer feel to the top dollar tabs but at a fraction of the cost and if u put ur mind to it u can even achieve a x64 system if u really wanted to.
thats just my opinion though, we just have different opinions on what "official" means in this context.. u think official as in the device supports it but to me official is what samsung does/provides, everything we do as devs is considered "custom" and unofficial especially in samsungs eyes

So its the same case with SM-T295? it is a non 64 bit tablet?

This firmware works fine on my non-Italian T510.

how did you flash the firmware? (steps)

1) unlock bootloader:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-a/how-to/guide-unlock-t510-bootloader-t3929459
2) flash firmware using Odin. Ignore HOME-file.
This method will wipe all data I think.
Everything is explained over here:

[PREP] Android 4.4(samsung) preparation, do's and dont's

Hey guys, as you all know the big news about how we are recieving the big android 4.4 as announced by samsung, so what do we need to do in order to prep for this release?
Heres some tips!
1. Do a full nandroid backup! Even better yet, if you know how to, convert it to a odin flashable .tar
This is so if anything goes wrong, we have some chance of fixing the device
Backup
System, data, cache, efs
2. If you dont wanna lose warranty on your device then dont bother flashing the 4.4 firmware via odin, theres a real good chance samsung implemented knox. So just wait for a dev to release a stock, rooted rom without the bootloader and knox files included.
3. If you dont care about warranty then by all means, flash the latest firmware, and when it arrives, update via odin or simply on the device itself.
So the moral here is dont flash the new bootloader until someone either confirms there is no knox. Or just wait for a dev to release a knox-free 4.4.
Take care and get ready, get set, go!
there are a two thing i worried about and that is knox and i do not expect a huge update
Eagerly awaiting since yesterday

It is huge update but mostly under the hood changes. No cosmetic changes except the battery bar being white.
Implementation of project svelte is a huge advantage for devices having low ram.

actually ALOOT of things changed.. almost all 4.3 mods are not compatible with 4.4
1. because the android api level is higher
2. because almost every single file got a re-write

If US gets 4.4 then international certainly will as US is slower at updates than the rest of the world so theoretically the unlocked 19300 should get the updates first!

Preview for Developers / Lumia 1020 issue

I tried searching, but i cant find my particular problem on here and only posts about the error and no fix on any other external site.
1. I have an active dev account and can log into it just fine.
2. I cannot and have not been able to log into PFD on a phone since February. Almost like MS pulled support for the app, but you can still d/l it and install. It just keeps saying "to download the preview you must be registered as a windows phone developer", but i am.
3. I have a factory unlocked 1020 and its stuck on Update 1 and since i dont have an SD card slot, i cant use the CustomWPSystem path.
So, is there a fix for the PFD issue?
Is there a ROM i can flash for the Update 2 or some way to force it to download other than PFD?
irony is, i just used the CustomWPSystem way to update my 810, but i wasnt able to when i tried before.
No one? At all?
Windows Phone 8.1 update 2 isn't offered for old Lumias, so you can't install that, and also Preview for Developers is replaced with Windows Insider App.

The 1020 gets Denim and Update 2 if youre on AT&T, but the unlocked ones for some reason are hit and miss and only get partial Denim with Update 1. Same on the 830, i forced it on my unlocked one using the CustomPFD update path. I also got update 2 on my 810 which never got the official 8.1 update at all, except through PFD. So, why dont you do some research?
PFD has not been replaced by WI, its still valid and in the Store, WI is for Win10 updates/upgrades.
Woah, only one person here claims that he got official GDR2 on AT&T 1020 while the rest of world are wondering on how to get update 2 installed on their phones, ofcourse they can get this verson 8.10.14234.375 with the impersonating phone hack.
Yes, you get the partial update becoz as I said MS never released update 2 to older Lumias except 1520, 1320. It is offered to new phones such as 830, 730, 735 and 930 and so on.
Check this link : http://www.windowscentral.com/windows-phone-81-update-2
PFD is replaced means that all the future builds updates of WP 8.2 will be offered through Windows Insider, technically its capability. It is valid in the store doesn't mean that it is currently active. I will again say do some research.

You are trying to install Update 2 via PDF app, aren't you? If so, then you can't, I think the last build that was offered via PFD is the current denim. Think about it, why doesn't people download it and install update 2 instead of trying the roundabout way that was given in the above link. So as of now, if you want to install GDR2 use the hack without sd card slot.

Do you have a link to the ffu?
Also Update 2 on my 810 made it wonky so i went to roll back to Update 1, totally forgetting that 8.1 was only on PFD and it went all the way back to 8.0 and Insider isnt available for 8.0. I can get a ROM dump from another phone so thats a moot point. It would be so much easier if PFD worked...

You are aware that MS hadn't released the official Denim firmware to old Lumia Phones, right? Currently, the stock rom available on their servers is Cyan. So Denim is offered only through Windows Update, which is kinda bummer. However if you want backup this rom (Denim) you have only one option i.e., through Windows Phone Internals.
This is the URL which is kinda risky, but nonetheless, it's easy to root 1020 and install GDR2 if you follow this step by step guide - impersonating phone hack

The 1020 gets a partial version of Denim:

Also, when using WDRT it does in fact load Update 1 and Denim, and even has a notification "Welcome to Lumia Denim" once it was done updating all the apps.

Man...Like I said all of us having old lumias will only get Denim firmware via Windows Update (Did you see the bold character) not through WDRT (Stock ROM). How can you get Denim update via recovery tool? You might be imagining things.
BTW there is no partial version of Denim (Denim + 8.1 update 1)
After Denim there is minor firmware update to selected phones which comes with 8.1 update 2.
That's why I will say this again first do research, don't just blindly believe what you think is right.

Also, ive been around here a lot longer than you and am not new to flashing or Windows devices, i just come here when i need assistance and cant find the answer anywhere else.
What the hell is this then - The 1020 gets Denim and Update 2 if youre on AT&T, but the unlocked ones for some reason are hit and miss and only get partial Denim with Update 1.
By the above statement as said by you it means full denim comes with 8.1 update 2. And dude seriously we aren't talking about that Lumia Camera 5 but GDR2, you are contradicting yourself and say you knew more than me. Just accept that what others said man...

Many people have reported of getting Update 2 on AT&T, but people with factory unlocked ones reported not being able to get it without PFD. Trust me, ive been researching this or the 830 for well over a year since i couldnt get LTE on my 810 which i hold as the best WP ever. With the prices of used ones coming down to under $100 from $200+ in the last 6 months, i cant pass up the op for one, even if just for the camera.

yup maybe
but sadly z5c got only 1.8GB
barely got this device 6 months
and games like CSR 2 left the phone with only 250MB free RAM
and all backward apps had to force close down even home screen reloaded again
i know 64 bit takes more RAM and support more than 3.5GB
i hope it will be fine.. anyway like you all said.. probably it will be out ,at least 6 months from now

I gave this build a try on my device:
Everything seemed to work okay except camera. The camera app wouldn't open. I didn't have the chance to try any other camera because I was unsure how to properly get gapps onto my phone to try third party cameras.
I did get gapps on there, but it involved installing the ROM through TWRP, then flashing back the kernel that could be used with TWRP, flashing Gapps, then flashing back the AOSP kernel. However, once I did this, Google Play Services kept crashing.
Gave up after that XD
thanks for feed back @largehamburgerhat , i want to install this rom but there is .img files in zip file, how can i flash this files ? also did you flashed opengapps ?

So I'm guessing FXP builds these using Sony's AOSP build guide: http://developer.sonymobile.com/ope...uild-aosp-nougat-for-unlocked-xperia-devices/
At the end, they mention this:
fastboot –S 256M flash boot out/target/product/<device>/boot.img
fastboot –S 256M flash system out/target/product/<device>/system.img
fastboot –S 256M flash userdata out/target/product/<device>/userdata.img
Simply boot your device into fastboot mode, extract the .img files and run those commands! (of course, make sure to change and use the correct path where it says "out/target/...")
I cant get the camera working with any app nor the flashlight but i did get google play services working . Flashed boot, system and userdata images and TWRP as recovery then micro gapps before first boot .
Front camera working ,also while charging only led working but no detail in settings, sound wonderful with music

Dual Booting on T350

Ok, there might be a way to do it, but I don't think it's possible for SM-T350 yet because of the new Marshmallow update. It will take a while for that to happen and plus there is no other custom OS for this device yet. (Only an unofficial version of EVERVOLV)
I have this device and you got to either choose Touchwiz or EVERVOLV.

LineageOS for SM-T280?

I've managed to get LineageOS built for an SM-T285 using https://github.com/jedld/device_samsung_gtexslte, thinking this would be close enough for the SM-T280. Unfortunately TWRP balks at installing it because my device has the codename "gtexwifixx" rather than "gtexslte". Where do I go from here?

Unfortunately nowhere.... You can't flash this rom on your device, cause it's different. You’d have to build a ROM for the 280. It will be probably easier because work is done for the 285, but still it needs to be done.

As far as I can tell, the 280 is just the 285 minus cellular radio. Would this therefore made sense? Change references of "gtexslte" to "gtexwifixx" and then comment out stuff having to do with the cell radio.

I don't have access to this device so it would be hard for me to port it over. However I believe there are a lot of similiarities in the device tree that can be shared. If a dev with the SM-T280 is interested I can probably help.

As far as I can tell, the 280 is just the 285 minus cellular radio. Would this therefore made sense? Change references of "gtexslte" to "gtexwifixx" and then comment out stuff having to do with the cell radio.

Remove the assert lines referring to the t285 model in the updater script.
It may boot with the T280 kernel.
Are there any news on this. Since searching 'lineageos samsung galaxy tab a t280' finds this page in 1st place, us, users of SM-T280 needs LineageOS for this device. It was released with Android 5.1 and we're on Android 9, as of now, September 2018.

So you've had Odin access but no longer do? Linux's version of Odin is called Heimdall. Check your Mint repository for it and google usage instructions. I use MX linux which has Heimdall in its repository, if Mint doesn't. The original firmware can be downloaded at Sammobile (https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/ga...e/SM-T280/XAC/).
Always make a backup before flashing and you'd have avoided this problem.
