storage permission not working - Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I have a Redmi Note 7 with Xiaomi.eu Q v11.0.1 and Predator-stormbreaker kernel.
Since the last time I flashed my rom, with this kernel, the storage permission isn't working anymore.
Even though I grant it for my apps, it says permission denied in app.
I have tried in Instagram with Instaprefs, in Hex editor with storage permission granted, but cannot open file because storage permission denied.
I don't know what to do.

CyanogenMod 11 No full permission to edit build.prop or move data to system

Dear,
Sorry if i post this thread wrong but i can't post on the Development page YET because i don't have 10 post...
My question is how can i get full permission on 4.4 on my device.
I already rooted and downloaden SU but i cant Update because it saids Remounting /system as rw.. Failed!
The ROM i downloaded is cm-11-20131115-UNOFFICIAL-galaxysmtd.zip inculding gapps gapps-kk-20131113.
The reason i want the full permission is because @pawitp said something about RAM mode so i need to edit the build.prop but i cant because my system is mouthed to rwxr-xr-x (0755). And ofcourse i want to change the bootanimation etc.
I hope you guys could help me out.
Friendly kinds,
(Sorry for my bad English)
There is no need to edit build.prop file in cm-11-20131115 as it is the second version released by @pawitp and he already edited that in this version.
If you still want to update, then:
1. Flash/install the latest superSU.
2. Open superSU app from app menu.
3. Now install and open the root explorer
4. It will ask for root permission, check the always option and click on grant
5. Now as it (Root explorer) is closed, reopen it.
6. Mount the system r/w.
7. Now do whatever you want and enjoy

Permission problem on storage/emulated/0

Hi all
I have Samsung S4 now for 3 years. It is rooted and I am using SuperSU. When last month I updated SuperSU through Google Play to buggy version 2.80, I lost root. To fix that, I installed 2.79 through TWRP and gained back the root. Then I updated to version 2.82 through Google Play, but yesterday discovered the problem with permissions on storage/emulated/0. The problem is, that this directory and all subfolders becomed read only. Or to be exacted, If I create a subfolder I got this error "su error: mkdir failed for /storage/emulated/0/test, Permission denied". Same error if I want to remove any file, etc. Also changing permission doesn't work.
Can anyone please help me?
thank you
best regards
Starlord
Stop updating SuperSU from the Play Store. There are always some sort of problems with it.
The most logical step is to completely unroot, then reroot again. Have fun.
Also, why do you get a su error? Creating folders doesn't require super user rights. Unless you tried to do it with the terminal emulator.
