Pre-install Startup Manager with Root access?

Pre-install Startup Manager with Root access?
i didnt success to run it with root access
maybe its could be done if i run it while the installation of android ?
thx
Once you have a proper superuser app installed you should be able to gain root with any app.
If you are having problems with the superuser currently installed I suggest removing it Via either adb or Root manager.
Programs like Android commander can set adb up for you.
As a rule Any app that needs root I give it permission then restart to make sure it takes affect.
thx root manager did the trick
gr8 30% 126MB used
hope its will make the battery little longer
wierd the startup manager is not working even with root access
i put it in the backup root manager directory and restore and did happend to work but nothing :S
still the same error i get without root access

[Q] Root Access and MAC address

So, just NAND flashed my HD2 over to DFT's .2 release of Android. This gave me the infamous MAC address issue of 00:11:22:33:44:55. Now according to a long searched for forum post if you go to:
/system/etc/ find file calibration and open it as view in text editor
in first line you will see the mac address
put your desired mac address, save and exit.
Now, for this you need Root Explorer. So I downloaded and installed Root Explorer. However when I run it, the program tells me I haven't granted the program super user access. Exact text: " Root access could not be obtained because su failed with the following message: permission denied Make sure you granted root permission when requested by SuperUser. If you did then try re-rooting your device. Root explorer will not continue in non-root mode." When I check in super user the page is BLANK. No programs have even requested super user access for me to give permissions to. I'm at a loss, either the version of Android isn't rooted, or the app isn't requesting SU access like it should. Either way I can't fix the MAC address issue. So, does anyone have an idea on how to fix either Root Explorer not getting SU access or the MAC address issue that doesn't require me to edit that file?
Download a program called "Z4Root" and run a Permanent Root, about 15 seconds after "Rebooting..." appears, restart your phone and try Root Explorer again and Allow it SuperUser Permissions
Got that to work last night actually! Now I'm just waiting to see what file should actually be edited as the calibration file isn't in system/etc.
My friend got the same problem (he got MAC adress like 00:00:00:00:00:00). Now i'm trying to find "adress" file in /sys/devices/virtual/net/eth0/ but nothing..

question about crDroid AOSP

i had changed the root mode from app only to apps and adb.also,i had tick the usb debuggble ,but i always see a message called superuser rejected
i want to use the root explorer to delete the superuser and install supersu
what can i do? thx for reading my long question

[Q] Rooted, but have issues with permissions and Root Browser.

Phone: AT&T LG G2
Software Version : D80010q
Status: rooted
I rootedafter the OTA download of D80010q
I have super user permissions according to Root Checker and Terminal Emulator apps.
I am having issues with Root Browser (also same issues with Root Explorer) It never asks for super user permission, as the other apps have done. It also doesn't show up in SuperSU app's log.
I mainly rooted to get rid of the bloatware that comes installed from AT&T. After searching Google, I found the list of apps safe to remove. Root Browser was recommended to remove these. The folder referenced is /system/apps.
Root browser opens, but never asks for SU permissions.
Browse to /system.
There is no /system/apps folder. There is a /system/app folder, but the apps that can be safely removed are not in there.
Any advice?

I don't use root browser, but in root explorer, go to your root tab and tap the button on top that says ro (read only), which will switch it to rw (read/write) then you'll be asked for su access.... That's the big difference amongst file managers in regards to root access. Root browser has the same option, just don't know where it is because I don't use it.

File manager says granted root, BUT cannot do things like edit build prop??(PICS)

Hello All . I have a rooted 1575 Twrp 3.0.1 I recently noticed iv been getting some weird behavior I havent seen prior. Happens with Stock, AOSP, and CM.
For example with Es File Explorer, I'll swipe from the left , click on tools, then tick root explorer. Ill get the pop up from SuperSU asking me to give it superuser permission, I'll select allow, after about 5 secs, Ill get a pop up saying 'sorry this test failed, this feature can't run on your device', that's the pop up you would get if weren't rooted or if superuser permissions weren't properly granted, But the thing is I am rooted and as the included pictures show, es file explorer says it gas been granted the correct permissions. So I haven't been able to figure out WHY this is happening.
I'm not having any issues with other rooted apps, its only with any file explorer I use.
It allows me to see the root of the SD card, but for example, if I try to edit the build.prop, I'll go in there, make an edit, then when I would try to save it, it won't let me.
When I first rooted this phone, this wasn't a problem. The one change I did make is once twrp 3.0 came out, iv been using adoptable storage. I can't say if this has anything to do with this problem or not, but I'm hoping some one out there has an idea of why this is happening and what I can do to fix it, Bec its so frustrating. Is there something I can do to remedy this.
,
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
