[Q] No root access for the converted JB ROM from NAND to SD

I tried to convert one of the JB ROMs but i can't reference it here now till I:
1- Success to convert it.
2- Get the permission from the developer to make public.
The problem is:
once the ROM started and everything looks fine and i tried to load the superuser, it crashes and any applications that requires root access will fail to function properly like (romtoolbox).
I can confirm that the structure of the system.ext4 is OK and has the 0,0 for User, group
I can also confirm that the file has 777 access.
The same configuration i applied to other converted ROM with Success.
I copied the corrected init.rc, init.htcleo.rc, ...... to the root of the system file.
So, What's missing?

CyanogenMod 11 No full permission to edit build.prop or move data to system

Dear,
Sorry if i post this thread wrong but i can't post on the Development page YET because i don't have 10 post...
My question is how can i get full permission on 4.4 on my device.
I already rooted and downloaden SU but i cant Update because it saids Remounting /system as rw.. Failed!
The ROM i downloaded is cm-11-20131115-UNOFFICIAL-galaxysmtd.zip inculding gapps gapps-kk-20131113.
The reason i want the full permission is because @pawitp said something about RAM mode so i need to edit the build.prop but i cant because my system is mouthed to rwxr-xr-x (0755). And ofcourse i want to change the bootanimation etc.
I hope you guys could help me out.
Friendly kinds,
(Sorry for my bad English)
There is no need to edit build.prop file in cm-11-20131115 as it is the second version released by @pawitp and he already edited that in this version.
If you still want to update, then:
1. Flash/install the latest superSU.
2. Open superSU app from app menu.
3. Now install and open the root explorer
4. It will ask for root permission, check the always option and click on grant
5. Now as it (Root explorer) is closed, reopen it.
6. Mount the system r/w.
7. Now do whatever you want and enjoy

sheild 3.0 with write permission

Hello
After update from Lollipop to Marshmallow i have problem with write permission from Kodi and Ttorrent.
the apps cant write into external usb drive.
in lollipop i fix this by mod the platform.xml file.
this method not working anymore in marshmellow.
anyone find solution to give permission to apps?
i have rooted console.
tnx
Did you try to use the sd fix app? Or manualy edit the platform.xml?
what edits did you make initially?
This method not work in Marshmallow.
the SdFix app edit the platform.xml. that different form Lollipop or Kitkat.
there is any way maybe give permission per app?

Nexus 7 - permissions issues and rooting

Hey people!
I just got a nexus 7 2012 and i am wanting to mount it in my car. So i wanted to do a few things before that.
I updated to official 5.1.1 via OTA. Everything is STOCK
First step was rooting which SEEMED to work (DID it via WUGS). It installed SU and busybox. Next step was to create my own bootanimation
This is where the issues have started. I can not change permissions or move any files to the system directory even with W/R option turned on
I can delete the files but can not copy files to the directories. I can no change permissions in ANY directory.
I have tried in root explorer mounting r/w ES file explorer R/W ... i tried to install a new busy box and it installs then immediately says "you installed but it seems there is an older version on the system" i can not uninstall busybox. I tried mounting in terminal and it says all partitions are EXT 4. I have tried rerooting. Root check says everything is fine. SU seems to be working fine (it elevates permissions for all the root apps).
But for the life of me it will not copy anything into / or /system. :crying:
Should i just forget it and install another rom, WIPE everything and start again? If ROM which one is the best at the moment (nexus 2012)
After 2-3 hours of messing about... I just TWRP and flashed a different SU and it starting working.

storage permission not working

Hi,
I have a Redmi Note 7 with Xiaomi.eu Q v11.0.1 and Predator-stormbreaker kernel.
Since the last time I flashed my rom, with this kernel, the storage permission isn't working anymore.
Even though I grant it for my apps, it says permission denied in app.
I have tried in Instagram with Instaprefs, in Hex editor with storage permission granted, but cannot open file because storage permission denied.
I don't know what to do.
