My N7 shows charging when connected with wall charger but actually its its not charging because battery is draining as it does with out charging.
following are my findings
its happening with both wall charger and PC usb port
wall charger is fine because its changing other devices
USB cable is correct because its working with other device and i can transfer files to N7 when connected to PC
i charge my device by using pogo pins 1and4 with wall charger. i test the connectivity between pogo power pins(1 and 4) with micro usb power pins.it seems that -ve pogo pic connect with -ve micro usb pin internally but positive pin pogo pin shows no connectivity with usb jack +power pin.so it seems that +ve power pin of micro USB jack is defective. Please help me how to fix that.
I'm currently in Karachi Pakistan and N7 was bought from USA from Google play store on September 1st. Please advise should i send it back to USA again to claim warranty or try to fix it buy opening it and replacing port because apparently +ve terminal of port is not working.
Hi,
I bought PowerGen 3.1A Wall Charger, when I use with original Micro USB cable that come with my Samsung Galaxy S4, the charging current is 1.9A, when I use with a generic USB cable, the charging current is only 700mA. (I have a way to test the charging current)
Does anyone know which Micro USB cable that carry fast current, such as 1.9A like original USB Cable that come with S4, or even better, carry up to 3.1A that this Wall charger provides?
Thanks All.

Faster charging is enabled in the kernel, not by a cable bro.
Hi,
you have to look for custom kernel with fast charging support. I am using faux123 with fauxclock app.

Just wondering before I buy a oneplus 2 does the cable work on every other USB charger plug like all android phones? I'll have to order a non UK plug but if I don't even need to use the supplies charger and can just plug the cable into another one it'll be perfect
It should work, though charging speed may vary and might cause eventual damage to the OP2's battery.

Yeah seems to work on any that I have tried. I have tried it on at least 5 different chargers with different USB leads and a Type C adapter for the leads. Just varies the charging times.

Hi,
So I just got a new car charger: Xqisit 6Amp Micro USB xqisit.c om/index.p hp?productdetail=20425 (Add the http: and remove spaces as I cant post links yet)
My phone charges fine off the 1 amp port, but when connected to either the short built in cable, or using the same cable as with the 1amp port, my phone does not even detect it is connected to a charger
My phone is a Vodafone Galaxy S5, running the stock 4.4.2 firmware.
This charges fine using any other charger.
We have also tested my dads S5, which is running 5.0 which charges fine using any of the ports.
We've also tested both phones in a different car, and get exactly the same results.
Any ideas why my phone refuses to charge off the 2.4Amp ports on this charger?
ive replaced the usb port, fully updated the phone, tryed a friends battery, new charging brick and cords , tryed different
outlets and the phone will not fast charge or show up on the computer/any computer.
when i plug it into the computer i get a error message:usb device not recognized or malfunctioned (i shortend it)
much help needed please and thank you
With regards to the fastcharging part, are you also sure you are using an adapter that supports 2Amps at 5V ? This is also the spec of the original adapter that came with the phone (I also found that it works with different 2.1 Amp. adapters generally for tablets)

I have the same problem. I changed the USB board but the problem was on the motherboard. I test all possibilities soft and we did. I changed USB card, USB cable and nothing. I went to a service and said that it is guilty USB chip on the motherboard. True or not I do not know but the man said he changed and now it works. It cost $ 50. He said it's a motherboard intervention more difficult.
