Some days ago I fitted a Kenwood head unit to my car; now, wireless android auto works perfectly, while mirroring just works with cable. I don't have the Mirroring option in Kenwood's bluetooth settings (I just have handsfree and a2dp profiles). I think that when I firstly paired the device, wireless mirroring was working, and profile was there, but now I even doubt of it...
Any help, please?

Hi, I was able to pair my x1 to my pioneer headunit in my car and get the a2dp to work, but say when I leave the car and it d/c as it should, it does not automatically reconnect when i start the car again like it should, I have to manually go into the settings and set wireless stereo again. Anybody know a solution to this? I am used to my old phone just automatically connecting everytime I start the car. Phone is visible also.
Hi, can I ask how you get your pioneer unit to work with X1? I've tried pairing my Pioneer unit to my X1 and it doesn't connect. Btw, I want to use my unit for handsfree calling. Thanks.

Search this forum for A2DPtoggle and you will find a program to easily connect A2DP bluetooth stereo.
Trying to pair my HD2 with my Pioneer DEH-P710BT and neither device will recognize the other after numerous attempts to follow each of the owner's manuals. Both have Bluetooth switched on and are discoverable and this just worked with my old iPhone on the first try. Is there a trick to this or something I'm missing? Anyone been successful pairing an HD2 to a Pioneer headunit? Thanks!
I have a sony xplod and it works fine with my HD2. You want to put your stereo into pairing mode and search for it with your phone, like you would with a bt headset.
I have the exact same model and I've experienced endless frustration trying to get it to work seamlessly with the HD2. My Blackberry has no issues with the connection to the DEH-710BT radio. There seems to be an issue with the devices establishing a connection, however when they do finally connect it stays reliable for as long as the radio is on.
Going through the Bluetooth settings in the HTC Sense menu often causes the connections to be reset and not work without a number of repairing attempts. Eventually it will work, but its taken me up to 10 minutes to get A2DP and the headset profile to work together.
There are some posts about people having issues with other car stereos and registry settings that are supposed to help. I've tried the registry settings without success in having the devices fully automatically connect.
After playing with the devices for a while, I've gotten it so that the devices 100% of the time automatically connect with the headset profile, however I cannot get them to automatically connect with the A2DP profile. The reliable work-around I've found is after I start my car, I go to Start->Settings->Bluetooth and then click on Stereo Audio under the Pioneer Device. While a bit of a pain, it isn't nearly as bad as trying to use the HTC Sense menu.

speoples20: You're exactly right, my headunit would not find the HD2 but the HD2 found the headunit (took me 5 tries before I got a successful pairing). Thanks!
dmattox: Thanks for the heads up about the A2DP situation, I don't have music loaded on the device yet since I use thumb drives but I'll have to try it out and report back if I have better luck. It is cool that the A2DP feature is there, I don't believe this was supported on the iPhone.
I currently run a Pioneer AVIC-D3 using the Pioneer CD-BTB200 bluetooth module.
I have no issues with connecting my HD2 (and previously my Touch Pro2) to my head unit for both voice and bluetooth stereo.

I have the AVIC Z110BT on my car and I connect the HD2 fine. I do have to do it from the HD2 and not the AVIC unit as opposed to when I had my iphone, but my HD2 connects flawlessly and I can use BT for Audio without any skip. My iphone used to skip every 30 seconds when I played it with the BT Audio connection. I have Energy Rom on my phone, but it worked all the same when I had stock rom as well.
I have my Nexus 7 mounted in the car and connected to a JVC KD-X50BT via bluetooth. It paired just fine and when I go into the bluetooth settings and manually click and connect to the JVC, it works perfectly. The problem is, when the car turns on, bluetooth is trigged via tasker but the JVC does not see the tablet and therefore, does not connect to it automatically.
I have my Galaxy Nexus paired as well since the JVC allows for two devices and it connects after a few seconds once the car is turned on.
Anyone have any ideas? I couldn't find anything within Tasker that fixes this issue. PLEASE HELP! This is the last step to my car install!
I have tasker doing the same thing. Are you toggling Bluetooth on from the off position? When I do that with tasker my car connects within a few seconds. If Bluetooth is already on though my car won't connect automatically for some reason.

Hi all,
I got a Huawei Smart Watch a few weeks ago.
For some reason when it's connected to the Nexus 6P with Bluetooth Audio switched on in the Watch, it won't connect to the Car's Bluetooth when the car is switched on.
Is anyone having this same issue? is there anyway of fixing it apart from turning off the Bluetooth Audio function on the watch?
Surely the phone could priorities the Car's Bluetooth. I don't seem to see this issue with either other watches or phones.
Im not sure if the device has a way to set priority of BT items but IIRC, you can only connect one type of BT device at a time. I have a Samsung gear Live watch which runs android wear. it stays connected all of the time and I can still connect to my truck BT radio. But you cannot connect headphones and a speaker to BT at the same time. just dont work that way.
Hey all, i bought an android head unit for my bmw and want to pair it with the stock iDrive system so that I can stream everything from the android head unit to the stock system via bluetooth and not aux. Below is the issue i run into when trying to accomplish this.
I dont have a bluetooth section in the android settings. I was given a tip by someone to add a quick settings toggle widget for bluetooth and was able to get the bluetooth settings to come up. Once i did that i cant actually turn bluetooth on. I tap to turn on bluetooth and it doesnt turn on.
I am able to connect my phone to the unit to stream from my phone to the android head unit but thats it. It seems as though there is a bluetooth input but no bluetooth out.
Please help!!!
None of them do. its because it has the bluetooth input. Ive heard of people bricking their units trying to get it to pair for bluetooth output.
