What is happening during startup: "Boot Logo"/"Splash Screen" vs "Boot Animation"?
When starting up my PH-1 (running the latest stock version + Magisk), there are two main "phases", it seems. First there's a splash screen (which is also called a "Boot Logo" in this thread) that says "Powered by Android". Next there's the Boot Animation.
I've been playing around a bit with the Boot process (including testing out Chainfire's LiveBoot and kitsunyan's Foxy Boot), and it seems like logcat starts logging during phase 2, the Boot Animation.
Are there logs created during the Boot Logo? What is happening at that stage?

[Q] Nexus 7 - Stuck on "Booting Downloaded Image"Bootloader - booting Custom recovery
Hello,
I am stuck rooting my device. Everything goes well until it flashes my custom recovery. It will flash it but when it attempts to boot it, it is just stuck on bootloader saying "Booting downloaded image" in the top left corner, when it should do it instantly.
Android 4.4 - JWR66Y
Tried w/ Wug's toolkit and fastboot. Both have the same problem.
Im staring in recovery mod bit Its showing only "bootloader unlocked" and after that the phone is normally starting instead of recovery

While trying to install TWRP while I already had CWM, my phone is now in a boot loop at the Recovery Booting screen where "Recovery Booting" is at the top left in blue. I had been trying to install the GPE lollipop rom that was made for the spring galaxy s4. When I flashed TWRP from the app, it said it was successful. However, when it went to reboot it recovery it went into the boot loop. All help is appreciated, Thank You!
Edit: It now just stays at the Samsung Logo screen with the blue "Recovery Booting" at the top left.

It might be a little late but I had the same issue while attempting to mess with recoveries at work (no computer access). I managed to get my phone to boot by pulling the battery out and holding down the power, home, and volume down buttons while booting. When it gives you the custom OS warning press volume down to boot normally again. Hope this helps someone!
Now my problem is trying to get one recovery to boot when I get home. Wish me luck!
Hello,
I was trying to flash TWRP on my phone, but it looks like I messed up something, and now my phone is stuck on a loop with a message on top left corner of the screen: "Recovery Booting ...". It keeps showing that message. All I can access is Download Mode.
What should I do now?
Hi, I have a moto g5 plus potter, it had twrp 3.3.0-0 installed with arrow os 11 for potter. The phone would randomly reboot like once a day and yesterday, while I was transferring filed using airdroid, the phone shut down. As of now, I cannot boot into arrow os or recovery. It's just stuck in a sort of bootloop. When I try to boot into aos it gets stuck in the "your device has been unlocked... reboot in 5 seconds" screen. I had Magisk v23 with Magisk manager installed too. When I try to boot to recovery, it gets stuck in the twrp logo screen that says "team win recovery project". I can boot into bootloader, I flashed twrp v3.5.2_9-0 and still it gets stuck trying to get into recovery.
Any help?
