Bway 9" Android 6 Radio with questions

Hi,
I have this unit installed , i bought it because in my car there a not many options with a bigger 9" screen. all the other options will give that 7 inch layout and buttons.
I got steering wheel buttons, so dont need any on the display

I have 3 issues with it
1 : The audio randomly mutes while driving, sometimes it doenst happen at all. sometimes 3 times a hour.
The sound goes into mute mode, you see the sound icon crossed out. Then i press + on my steering wheel and it goes back to the previous audio level.
2. Its kind of laggy when i use TomTom Go and Spotify, can i upgrade the memory? Gba soldering solutions is doable by me, just need to know if its still worth doing.
3. Audio quality is poor. i am missing the rich volume. i read about the amp replacement. but that will not work for me, i have a amp build in the car.
4. cant connect any other bluetooth devices
i replaced the stock speakers from the car already with new ones. but it barely became better.
Questions :
1. can i upgrade the memory?
2. There are no updates from Bway, Can i flash android 7 and remove all the crap from this build, and get better equalise support and bluetooth? and maybe fix the muting issue.
3. i am also looking into this newly listed model

Fader-Balance not working on 8227L_Demo Head unit

Hi guys,
I have a Chinese Android headunit with the 8227L_Demo chip and the fader-balance is not working. I have the option but when I move the dot around the car image, the sound still plays on all 4 speakers. Also, the EQ settings doesn't seems to change anything. The other bug I have is there a big gap/jump in the volume between 17 and 18 and the sound mute for half a second when I switch from 17 to 18 and vice versa.
Anyone experienced something like that ?

me too, same problem. my unit is Blaupunkt key largo 970 but CPU-Z and some other in system hidden settings confirm that this unit is alps_ 8227L_Demo.
can you share your Equalizer.apk app?

Hello Guys, I don't have any solution, but I have the same issue. Fader doesnt work. As far as I know, this is not because of the HU but the Harness. I have a JBL System and I had to buy an extra harness which doesnt allow me to use FADER.

I'm afraid guys, there is no solution. The reason it doesn't work is that your unit does not have a dedicated audio chip. Older units all had it, like YT9216, YT9217, YT9218, and even (older) YT9213AJ. If you buy Android 8.x or 9.x then the audio chip will be present.
See the pictures below explaining the issue.
The audio chip is TDA7729 (TDA7719 , CSC37033 , SCS37534).
Now there is a fix but it requires advanced soldering skills and a proper setup.

Android head unit volume issues

Hi Guys
I have a Android head unit :
Firmware : YT9216BJ_00012_V001
Android : 9.1 Car edition
XY Auto 6.2(x2)
CPU : A7 1.3 Ghz x 4
1GB Ram , 16 GB Rom
MCU 3.5 (X2)
Here is the problem I have
The sound settings seem to be different for the FM Radio and Bluetooth, than for the music streaming from the head unit itself playing from YTMusic and Spotify.
I have a external 4 Channel amp set up and running 2 from the L+R outputs, and 2 from the sub out
The FM radio and Bluetooth will be set up and if I use the apps installed on the HU, it is a lot softer, and it seams like the sub channel is affected the worse, It sounds like there is a frequency cut, like anything under 50 HZ is chopped.
I can set the levels in the volume settings, but as soon as I go to the FM Radio, the bass is about to blow the sub.
Please let me know if you require further information
As for the rest of the unit, I am very happy, just want to get this issue sorted, and perhaps a better offline map app.

Seller adviced me to use ZH -> Toyota -> All -> All option in canbus settings.But it keeps popping up climate control bar in screen
I have tried RZC -> Toyota -> C-hr -> electrical but volume is too high at 1
Now I am using RZC -> Toyota -> All -> All right side controls of the steering wheel (music volumes) is not working
It has come with Zlink,easyconnect pre-installed.I have installed android auto,map,sygic successfully.But could not make carplay work.
Even tried with a dongle but phone kept loosing usb connection through it.otherwise direct usb connection works fine and stable.
I am looking for more info,mcu,canbus updates.If someone can kindly point me to right direction I will appreciate it.

Android head unit help JCAC canbus setting missing

It appears i have bought an android head unit that boots showing android 11, says its running android 12 in device information app but has API 27. Should i download an update to make this run better or just use it as is.

Seems as if it's very bare bones as I don't even have any canbus settings under factory setup.
