I got one of the new redmi bands and it comes with a qr code to scan. When I scan it, it says the app is not available.
Is this going to be chinese only?
Anybody got any ideas how to get it working (if not)?

Hi, I got mine yesterday and wondered about setting it up too. For me the qr code resulted in downloading the Xiaomi wear app. After some hassle (rebooting phone, switching off Bluetooth) the app found and paired the device.
I had to switch my phone language to English to get rid of the band showing only Chinese letters. But this shouldn't be a problem for you

I did the same, i'm able to pair and use all functions from the Redmi Band but unfortunately the data of heart rate, steps, kals and workouts are stored in three days before ALWAYS. For exemple: all data from day 13 are stored at day 10 plus eight hours ahead in the app data tab. Someone facing this problem too? Redmi Band (chinese version).

I really need your help and suggestions. I bought an unlocked samsung focus last week and I love it! But I have this problem:
- I cannot receive text messages until I reboot the phone
- After I reboot the phone, text messages will start flying in to my inbox
- Then the problem starts again and I have to reboot the phone to retrieve new text messages
I live in the basement but I have no trouble calling or sending and receiving SMS with my previous phone.
I hope it has something to do with the OS thus they can fix it.

Sometimes I get it where the device thinks it's on the network, but won't use cellular data or SMS. I'll see this after being in the basement for a few hours with a signal that fades in and out.
Try turning on Airplane mode, wait 5 seconds, and turn airplane mode off. It should reconnect to the network and start running again.
I've seen this on 'droids, WinMob 6, and on the iphone 3 as well. I've just sort of figured it was the radio chip giving up on retries. I could be wrong, but recycling the radio seems to work for me.

when you have no signal, the operator will keep trying several times during different time spaces until your phone gets it. the problem with focus is that they quit trying to received. i dont know but only works after a reboot. In other phones you just need to wait till next carrier push try. i think its a bug, probably to unlocked phones. I have an At&T unlocked focus.

Here are my thoughts on the issue.
1. I bought the phone from Rogers (GSM)
2. I bought an Unlock code from the web (SIM Unlock only)
- You know you're device is carrier locked if you cannot run Samsung's Network Profile App, or if it shows no other profiles in the list. The app is available on the marketplace.
3. I use the phone on SaskTel's 4G network (Saskatchewan UMTS/HSPA+)
Now my thought is this.
Whichever settings are not provided by SIM are set by the Network Profle xml that is specific to each carrier.
My assertion is that if you cannot change Network Profiles via Samsung's app, you cannot use your 'carrier free' (AKA SIM unlocked) device on another network without some hiccups.
If someone can figure out how to enable Samsung's Network Profile on a carrier purchased device, I'd be happy to hear how it's done.
I should also note that I've since developer unlocked via Chevron's WP7 tools with no change (Installed NoDo right after).
If someone knows what the network profile xml actually sets and can figure out an alternate way to set the settings..... ie Registry editor, etc. We would appreciate this.

you may try the fix posted on page 2 of this forum for sms not receiving. It worked for me and not having any problems since.
Hello. I'm new to the group. Like so many others I was looking for a cost effective smartwatch that was not as expensive as Samsung or Apple. The Lemfo Lem5 Pro got very good reviews so I ordered. I use iPhone 7+. According to the company and the seller (Gearbest) this watch works with iPhone.
It arrived today and I find it not very functional at all. Not like in the few review videos I've seen. It won't show me the IOS option in the phone's bluetooth section under available devices although it shows up on my phone and says connected. WiFi also shows connected but I can't seem to do anything online. I can't even get the weather to show up. When I click on the plus side to add more watch faces it simply shows a spinning wheel and does not want to show me the supposed 50+ watch faces available for download. It shows me 4 faces.
I Have tried doing a hard reset of the phone and it still seems to not want to function.
Does anyone have any experience with the Lemfo Chinese smartwatches that can offer some help on why this device might not want to connect to anything? My wifi is very strong and shows connected. The watch shows that it is connected to the iPhone but the LEM5 IOS option does not appear anywhere in my settings so I am at a loss to understand why it isn't doing what it should. The instructions are sadly very minimal and a less than great translation from chinese.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might offer. The watch looks great just doesn't seem to want to do anything.
Just got the LEM5 Pro.
After watching a few videos, i've realised that this more of a Smart Phone in the shape of a watch. So the functionality even with an android phone is very limited.
It can connect to an android phone after u download software, but even then... you cant make calls unless you insert a sim into the "watch".
Filed under "money wasted".

i had the same issue at the beginning i thought it was due to the lemfo server being busy or webpage being hallt for few weeks.
it worked after few days. i have problem in connecting to different android app for watch. i cant even connect to lemfo band app. it only works on lemfo watch app which is pretty useless. if you find any solution to connect bluetooth directly to phone then please share with me. i want control my watch with my phone such as tracking health and other uses of the app. thanks

The only way my Galaxy 8 plus will connect to my watch is if I use Bluetooth Tethering. Search for Bluetooth Tethering in the settings of your phone, turn it on, and select the watch from that screen, it'll connect.
The problem I'm having is it won't send texts.
I have a lemfo lem5 pro wich have the same issues,the software seems to have a bad optimization ,to make weather work i insterted a sim ,gps without sim for me is not working , the wireless is working but i don't see a browser ,the 50 faces are showing up but it's takes a lot to load them and sometimes stops loading after a few.
I know the Lem X is a GSM device compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile, but I saw that if on the CDMA platform / Verizon, you should still be able to get call
ALERTS and text ALERTS. I know you can't answer calls on the watch, nor can you respond to texts, but I can get call alerts, but I just cannot get text alerts. Any idea how to make it alert me to texts?

Recently I bought Oppo watch LTE version, I want to connent my watch with esim. When I run wear os app > advanced setting, there is no Mobile network settings. I try to turn all data transmision on watch but it didn't work. Did someone have similar problem or have any idea of solution?

Hello, My wife has Mi Band 6. Since she was global MIUI OS on her Redmi Note 7 smartphone, I flashed her to Miui OS SK / CZ. Then I started installing applications and restoring it to what it was used to. But Mi Band 6 decided to grieve. It cannot connect via Mi Fit, even though the application sees it and requests its reset and there is a stumbling block, the Settings option has been lost in the watch. So I can't even reset them. Only their Notify & Fitness application, but I still can't manipulate the watch there, as they require an official application that can't talk to the watch and still requires resetting to reconnect it. How about the people you advise. I'm already clueless, they were also discharged and after recharging, the Settings item did not appear.

I have the same issue. Did you find a way to fix it? I thought a way to resolve this would be to connect the Mi Band with an app like GadgetBridge, but in this case you need the auth key from your device and this key is not available without connecting your band to the Mi Fit app. So unless you find your auth key by brute force, I don't see much we can do...
