When my tab a is fully charged the screen comes back on. I have a screensaver set but it does not come on. Any idea on how to stop the screen from lighting up when fully charged. Thank you

For some reason my battery indicator LED is a solid dark orange/red. What do I have going on and how do I fix it?
Have you tried removing the battery and then putting it back? If that doesnt work, i would say, let your battery drain to %10 and then power it off, and charge it till its full...
does the light stay red even when its plugged into the charger and the battery is fully charged?
how do you tell if your phone is fully charged when charging the x1 beside looking at the battery status when the phone is on. does the illumination light go out when your unit is charged or does it continue blinking whether its fully charged or not.
when i charge mine, the lights blink and then after several hours, i would not see it blink for a little while but then every now and then, i would see it blinking again.
just want to know if the lights stops blinking, the phone is fully charged.
Exactly what I want to know.
Yes, the side lights stop blinking when it is fully charged.
When it stops charging, the lights go out. But then, when in trickle charging mode, it is shown by the light.
how can I see the remaining battery (percentage) without pressing a series of buttons?

You can set the clock in the menubar to show the battery power, but the the clock is gone or you use a small and nice freeware like batti: http://code.google.com/p/batti/

thanks, that makes a lot of sense now that you pointed it out.
Sorry if it was asked before.
I see that the battery is 100%, but there is no indication that it's fully charged.
I still see the charging indicator.
Is it OK?
Thanks!

If you're worried about "over charging", don't worry about it, just leave it plugged in.
Otherwise, yes, it indicates "charged" on the lock screen when it's completely charged.

I searched but couldn't seem to find an answer. My new N7 is charging up while off. When I plugged in the charger the screen showed an icon showing it was charging.....then went off. When the unit is fully charged will an icon come on screen to show it is fully charged....and will it stay onscreen with the unit powered off?

With the N7 powered down, when the charging is complete, there is no icon to tell you it is fully charged. You have to depress the power button to see if it is fully charged.
Steps to reproduce
- plug in to recharge and allow device to go to sleep mode
- after sufficient time has passed to ensure that the device would have fully charged, press the power button to turn on. Optimally unplug the charger at the same time.
- device comes on, shows low battery indicator and turns off automatically
- turn the device back on. Starts up normally. You will see that the battery is fully charged now.
Can anybody tell me how to solve it? Thanks very much!
Hi, I got my S10+ yesterday and I had it charging on a bedside table. When the charge hit 100% the screen lit and as you can imagine that is pretty annoying at 2am. Has anyone else encountered this issue and is there a toggle I missed somewhere to stop this from happening? The charging pad is an official Samsung one and I never had that issue with my Note 9.
Edit - Just tested it with normal wired charging and it does the screen wake up too. What is going on!!
I believe that is when the alert comes on to tell you it's 100% charged. I don't believe there is anyway to turn that off, except to just flip the phone over when charging.
