i have debloated my stock rom myself, now i have found out that ultra saving mode doesn't work so obviously i deleted the app/apps associated with it, so what are they in order to push em back ?

There's only one single app not working on my n3 - sing by smule. The screen just goes black whenever I play a song (there are supposed to be lyrics). I'm running stock ROM with several xposed modules. I've tried everything to no avail. At this point I don't even care about the game itself anymore...I'm just on a mission to figure out why it isn't working!
I have to assume it's just my device because there are plenty of reviews for the app from ppl with the n3 that don't have this issue. Is there any such mod/hack/module I can use to run an app in safe mode?? i.e. Have it run in its own "box" and ignore any and all mods I've done. I'm thinking this isn't possible but I figured I'd ask!
TIA!
If you are using Safestrap, why not put a rooted stock ROM (minus Knox and the OTA stuff of course) into another slot?
I doubt that safe mode will have any effect on framework mods - it just prevents autostart of *market apps*, not where base classes (e.g. frameworks) are loaded from.
You could also install the .apk into an emulator in the SDK, although that is likely sufficiently different from touchwiz that it probably won't provide you with diagnostic info.
good luck

Hey thanks for the reply. I don't have safestrap - I just don't like the idea of having to use the slots/partitions and all that so I haven't bothered with it.
Is there any way to get into a safe mode of any kind without safestrap?
Background: I'm on a stock rooted rom. After I rooted Private Mode still worked. Now it does not for some reason.
So I have a few questions.
1. Any idea of where private mode stores the files? I had a few GB of data stored in there, now that its not working I want to make sure I no longer have those files clogging up precious GBs on device storage.
2. Is the only way to get it back is to re-flash the stock rom?
3. I think I might have broken Private Mode by trying out ART. Now when I go into Developer Options, I notice that it always says Dalvik....When I switch to ART and reboot, and check the Developer options, it still says Dalvik. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks for any thoughts

1. It doesn't double up your data, Private Mode only encrypt your data which you want to keep your data safe, so it's just right where your data is supposed to be
2. Unless you disable your private mode before re-flash rom, you will lose access to your encrypted data. what's the point of privacy when you just simply reflash to get yours back, so anyone can do that
3. You might be using xposed framework, it will not let you switch to ART runtime

1. I'm not worried about doubling up on data, just don't want tobstorr files I can no longer access.
Unfortunately your answer about the files are where they are supposed to be isn't descriptive enough. The files I had in private mode were originally on my SD card but with private mode enabled I used the Samsung My Files app to move them to the private folder in that app. So it moved those files just not sure where.
2.I'm not trying to regain access to those files just asking a general question about getting private mode functional again. Is the only way to refladh a stock ROM.
3. I'm fairly certain I didn't install xposed.
I'm going to dive into a few other threads. I see there are files I can modify to manually switch between the two. I'll make sure I'm not in ART.
thanks!!

1. Private Mode doesn't move your files to anywhere, your files are located at their original place. It just encrypted your data with a 'key' and use that 'key' to mark and decrypt them when needed
2. I'm not sure about this, but it seems to me that you will have to reflash a Stock Rom again.
3. Are you on Stock Rom? ART runtime seems not to work well with deodexed ROM.

1. When added files to the Private Files folder (Only visible in Private Mode) in the stock Samsung My Files app, those files were moved from my SD card to internal memory. I verified this by checking the storage usage. SD card usage was decremented by the same amount the internal storage increased.
2. I was afraid of that. Not sure I'll actually do it.
3. 100% certain stock room, just rooted with Chainfire. Odexed and everything.
I might have to do some additional reading. I know that after you root you have the option to disable Knox (which breaks private mode). I didn't disable knox, but I'll research which processes are frozen/stopped by disabling knox and see if restarting them can get private mode working again.... or if its even possible perhaps reinstalling knox/private mode without re-flashing.
Hi, does anyone know which apk(s) are needed to get Ultra Power Saving to work, I have stripped down simplRom and have tried to figure out which app(s) I need to get UPS to work but cannot get it to work no matter what combo of apps I reinstall... (I have re-installed the 3 emergency apps and changed permissions but still nothing...) any help would be great thanks.
Hi guys,
after i have updated my ZTE stock firmware to 6.0.1 BUILD ZTE A2017GV1.0.0B08 some Apps who should work in the background closing automatically. Apps like LAMA, Call blocker, speed camera, firewall without root.
Did anyone have an idea what should i do?
Best regards.
Might be the power save function on B06 or B08, can't really remember. By the way, I'm new to XDA and I can't post a post, the send button doesn't respond to me. Do I need to do something first?
hey I have experienced the same issues, for me it was even was the clock that wakes me up in the morning that just got closed in deep sleep mode.
go to energy app settings and deactivate everything for the apps you want to run constantly - theres also an app protection list but I don't know if that makes any difference
Try this Prozedure, from a Guy in the german forum (http://www.android-hilfe.de/):

In debloater you have to select "com.zte.heartyservice.strategy" and klick on "apply", after Reboot your powersaving-problems should gone.
I know just enough to be dangerous, here, but I've had no luck. I would like to start show mode automatically via tasker.
I'm not currently rooted, and ideally would like to avoid it but I'll do so if necessary. All I want to do is find out how to start show mode programmatically, and I can't figure it out.
There seems to be a package called com.amazon.paladin that's responsible for show mode. I'd like to figure out how I can trigger it, but I cannot for the life of me figure it out. I did find a task/activity that appears to be the right one (I'm going from memory now but it was something starting with an L and with Window in the name?), but when I try launching it via adb, it says no such class.
Has anyone figured out any way to trigger show mode besides the dropdown / toggle?
Haven’t had any luck either - trying some magnets on the back side of the tablet hasn’t worked so far
Can you make a Show Mode launcher app using Android Studio.
I am also looking for a way to use Show Mode on LineageOS, it is the only thing I like about FireOS. I found a version of Alexa Show Mode for Lenovo tablets, but I could not download the actual APK to test (probably it is device or region locked, or both). Any way to install some APKs from FireOS to get Show Mode working?

searching on the web for hours and I've found a compressed archive called "amazon.speech.sim.zip".
I can't remember where I got it but here you are, just in the case someone manages to install the actual app and make it work.
I tried in many ways including flashing via recovery, installing it as a system app and even as a normal apk but I wasn't able to do it.
amazon alexa Show Mode for Lenovo
hope this can be helpful (somehow)
