BMW E60 CCC Chinese Android 4.4.4 Head Unit Froze On BMW Boot Logo Need Help Please

** NOW SOLVED**
I managed to find an upgrade.img file linked from this forum, formatted a usb drive (FAT32) copied the upgrade.img to the usb drive and renamed it too updrade_force.img, popped the usb drive in as the unit was starting up and it reformatted my system and installed the Android OS. All is now well.....
My head unit just froze at the boot logo stage last week, i have emailed the seller and sent him a video of the problem , but he hasn't a solution to my problem, i have had this unit for 6 months and have been very happy with it until now.
The normal CCC menus work fine as does the reversing camera, so something is preventing the Android OS from starting. I have gone through all 70+ pages of posts from the https://forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/android-head-units/avin-usa-bmw-f-series-t3673558/post77599782#post77599782 forum tread, i have downloaded a few update.img files installed on a SD card using the SD_Firmware_Tool buts its still froze on boot, can anyone please help.

I recently bought a Octa-core/2GB RAM from China supplier, the screen is good but some apps don't really work. I want to tune it a little, but I can't identify the type of Head Unit from its MCU. It says that has OS Android 8.1, but I doubt it also.

This is the same as my Xtrons TR771L, but I'm also looking for a place where to get updates for it.

I also have a similar head unit from WANQI.
It has android oreo 8.1.0 and as far as I can tell it is an Allwinner T8 unit
I would also like the password for the boot animation app.
The seller said it is 8888 or 123456 however this is not working.

Thank you for the suggestions however none of them work. I also tried 0000, 1111 .... 9999 and other suggestions from XDA.
I can change the boot logo in Extra setting (password 123456) but not the boot animation.
Also just as info the password for Developer options is 7890.

Does anyone know if there is any mcu update for this t8 unit i have? I am looking forward to improve sound quality of the base music.

hello my h.u. came with outdated zlink (carplay app), it crashes after a while using waze, i wanted do update it, donwloded the vesion on this forum, but couldn't do it, it fails while trying, so i guess it needs to be rooted in order to do so, i wanted to backup my version and try to install this updated version, and even maybe update the whole android (mine is 8.1 here), can anyone help me with it ? suggesting the program and room to do so, i'm not a experienced android user. thank you in advance !

zipped up? 3x reset before uploading?

Settings and Last one android Upgrade. So Head Unit reboot to recovery and there I choose the zip. No 1x time wipe and factory reset before thats it

I bought this 6 months ago. First month usage then the sound is gone. Send back to the local seller in Malaysia. After the repair my unit have the sound but it gone crazy by random frequent reboot. When I asked for the firmware from the seller he simply refuse to give me. I really like this unit with android 9 and the built-in 4G capability. Tried looking for the stock firmware or any root or mod for it but with no avail. Any help would be really appreciated.

This chipset have 3G capability only right? Because the sim signal icon on my unit sometimes shows 4G.
Downloading the firmware now but failed once. The speed is around 50-200kbps but always at the lowest speed that is below 100kbps....phew.

Are you updating with the firmware given by balkanera? Are you sure it is not working? I just finished download the fw that I left downloaded overnight. I feel unsure to update the fw now....gosh.

In the same situation, but it is Tlink, same company I think, the activation screens are the same. Tried wechat miniapp but it look like it is for mass activation bundles.

Same problem here, I have SpeedPlay app is another app but same activation code. I had activated but I upgrade my system and change my ID, result app no active.

I try zlink and speedplay apps with my headhunt connect to wifi internet or mobile hotspot and NO self activated. I try a lot of versions.

Finally, the support team activated the zlink and I was able to use CarPlay even wirelessly. I only needed to connect to the personal access point of the iPhone the first time and it worked like magic. I use zlink 4.0.6.

RESOLVED – OK so I had an issue similar to the one you all are discussing.
First when I got the unit, it wouldn't connect to WiFi, then I was getting the MFI not found errors either via Bluetooth or plugged in USB. Then after I did a factory reset, I got this "inactive, click to activate" which also wouldn't work.
Then I emailed and they provided this link, which worked perfectly for me:
System firmware
The newest system firmware for system updating with instructions and download link.

1) Download Files
2) Copy the two downloaded files (dmcu.img and update.zip) to the main directory (don`t pack the downloaded files with any folder) of the SD card or an USB drive（The SD card or USB drive must be formated in FAT32).
3) Plug the SD card or the USB drive into the unit.
4) Go to the menu of Settings==>System ==>MCU updates
5) Go to the menu of Settings==>System ==>System updates
(Please select the option of Wipe and format the data in flash.)
After the updating complete. Please note the first booting time after system updated will get a little longer.Please be patient to wait and please keep the power on when the system is updating or the head unit is booting.
6)You can delete dmcu.img and update.zip file in the SD card or unplug the USB drive after system updating completed.
Worked like a charm! We now have CarPlay!

1. download these two files. copy <Update.zip> and <MCU.bin> to the root directory of a formatted USB drive(FAT-32).
2. plug the U-disk into the unit. enter Settings-General-System Upgrade. the system upgrade will start automatically. the step takes about 6 minutes, please do not cut the power off during the process.
3. after upgrading the system, enter Settings-General-MCU Upgrade- select the upgrade file -Confirm to do MCU upgrade. the step takes about 1 minute.
4. to activate the weather APK, please set your cellphone WiFi hotspot name as FYQP5QRG, and connect the player WiFi to your cellphone hotspot, and then it will activate the weather APK. When you are using an iPhone, please do not connect your iPhone Bluetooth to our player before you activate the weather APK, it is very important. After you activate the weather APK, you can connect your iPhone Bluetooth normally.

I have not heard of a 3C, what is the ram sizes? Check the 1st link I shared above, it has a table and has the different machines with their ram sizes listed. Maybe 3C is a new variant. It would be interesting to know what are the differences with the other units that has been discussed in the other thread already.

It is the same unit as in description. Only the ram storage is 4Gb Rom 32gb.

May update with lot of improvements , works very well.
