AVIN and Radio not working after update MCU Help please

Hi
I've update the MCU and after that I got 2 problems:
1) Radio not working at all ( try to change setting from Factory Settings and still not working).
2) AVIN ( the front camera ) it's work sometimes BUT mostly not working.
I've tried the following:
1) Go throw the settings and Factory settings make settings like original.
2) GO throw settings and Factory settings and try everything.
3) Change the MCU version ( until now I tried 8 files).
4) Flash the MCU and Flash the Rome ( also Conversely).
* I have chose the MCU file carefully based on the HU that I have.

Same thing happened to me last night. Any solutions out there? My head unit is an Eonon GA5150F and I installed Mayalsks August ROM and the latest KLD mcu

Except that link points to 21 folders with MCU files in them. MOST of them are KLD, only a few are KLD1, which is what you have. Did you try the KLD1 MCU? And why are you shouting?

Well I tried KLD1, and it's the same.
I think we need the stock one.
By the way I figured how to run AVIN, you can do it through the steering wheel buttons(Mode) , this method works always, but still we need to run it through the screen.
For the radio issue I couldn't solve it until now.
I think we need to ask Eonon company to gives us the stock files.

I have a problem with the radio too. I cant autosearch on the radio. If I put the frequency manually it works. But autosearch doesnt. Any idea? Trying to change in factory settings the type of radio but no change.
I have KDL2 v.267 from the factory, not done any update by me.

Hi, this problem happened after update wrong MCU

Thanks for your answer. My MCU was never updated. So probably they (chinese) did it at the factory and put a bad MCU update? So you think i should downgrade to an older version. (kdl2 v2.67 is the newest version). I will try with KDL2 v2.55 an see if it works.

Sry for another of my post. I've tried a downgrade to kDL2 v2.55.Same problem. I've tried KDL 2.64. Same problem. But everything works on KDL and on KDL2 mcu update. Just the radio is not working.

Yep. With the Mayalsks rom it works like charm. After installing Maya's ROM the radio start working.

I had this same problem. Reloaded the factor rom setting so i was back to the way it was when i bought it and still no radio. turns out it was a setting under factory settings. my pin to get abscesses was 121212 not 126 like the manual said. i had to select TDA7786 and do a factory reset and it worked fine. i have a pic but not sure how to add it

Sorry for bumping this but I really don't know what to do.
I have a MTCD XRC which have worked somewhat well but now the radio is totally dead. I can't auto search channels, there is no radio noice or nothing. Audio works otherwise but the radio is totally gone.
I tried to do a factory reset, no change.
I went to factory settings to see what radio was selected like the photo above but I only have "YES" and "NO" to select, nothing else!
Anybody? Please?
Edit: It just died while listening to the radio in the middle of a song, it just went quiet and I have not been able to get it working again after that :/

Have you tried to upgrade the MCU?
also which room are you using? Is it stock?

Yes I upgraded to the latest MCU for my model (XRC) and installed Maylask latest rom then the radio just went quiet and auto search not working. I then tried to change back both rom and MCU to stock, but still not working
I tried the above in factory settings but the only options I have under radio is "YES" and "NO". I can not select radio chip

I have the same issue. The 121212 (and m123456) codes work for getting to "factory settings" but on the Radio menu there's just YES/NO and no way to select a tuner chip. Anyone have any ideas? This is on a PX3 2GB Android 7.1.2 headunit.
Update: Switched to the Mayalsks ROM but that didn't help. I was hoping I would get to choose a radio module but it is still just YES/NO.

I would like to start this forum on Eincar Radios. I found the user manual and support poor and would like to contribute my findings and ask for help in areas where I'm stuck. Also based on my experience I find the carjoying support much better and would rather recommend people to look into this brand if they interested in android car radios

4.) Youtube is not working and blurry with video display how do I fix this?
5.) My Huawei E3531 router does not work with the radio how do I fix this?
6.) How do I go into recovery/download mode?

I believe I have the same unit as you. The passwords and types of errors you listed are the same as mine. The MCU version matches as well. If you find anything else out let me know!

Are you sure this post belongs in MTCB - what details do you have to confirm the unit is an MTC*B*

Have you found out how to enter recovery mode I have an older version eincar double din that won't get past boot screen i have the software on it but I can't get the damn thing to boot I ended up buying a newer version running 6.0 but right now I have a radio that i know can be fixed I plugged it into my computer through a double sided usb cord my computer reads it but u can't get it to run

why you cant pass the bootscreen? did you try to change it to a personalized one and messed the bootscreen?
if thats the case, with the car/ignition off, connect a wire from the red positive 12v to the wire that says reverse. turn ignition on, wait 30 seconds and remove the wire. this will make the radio boot in rear camera mode and bypass the bootscreen.

Ya so I just tried the reverse wire to the red wire it kicks into reverse but still doesn't so anything it's sitting at the android screen I tried to root the damn thing but Idk what happened

Hi Guys, i have same double din radio and always after start my radio is start 87.50 MHz . All wire is connect proper when radio is start keep all saved station and start whit my custom logo that's mean the problem is not in power. I have tried most, if not all, the factory settings passwords that have been mentioned in these forums. None work.

As I said all they did was give me the box which says on the outside: acoustic. But did not find that brand on the internet.

You can install the Shortcut Master App. Once you do, open it and search for factory settings and you will be able to open it without entering passwords.

You don't need Password for change the UI in k2001
all you have to do in car setting click on export setting
it make a backup files in your flash drive
remove the flash drive from device and connect it to your pc
then go to flash drive.. open launcher_style file with notepad
change it to what number you want to be
for example i have 4 Style on my device.. if you want set it on the first one. Change the file to one
make sure you use small letter. If you type One, it doesn't work
in my device #3 style in very good.. so I just type three on the file.. save
connect it to device.. it automatically find the backup file and ask you to import or not.. click ok.. it restart the device and change the style to what you select

8227L Android 10 ROMs?

Morning all
I have just bought the above unit,

Basically I can’t change anything on it, not even the home screen icons.
If I change the wallpaper, the widgets that’s used for the time and music player for the home screen has big ol black background. Imagine a 5 inch square black blob placed over your Wallpaper with the time in the middle. Looks terrible, unlike your phones where it’s just the time over your wallpaper. Sorry I’m unable to add pictures but you can see what I mean from the link.
So I’m asking if there’s any mods for these? ROMs? Or would I have to roll it back to android 9 and go from there. If that’s possible?
I have tried the car launchers but there’s no widgets or anything for Bluetooth audio etc which I always use, also on the headunit now I have to go on the phone app, then Bluetooth, then Bluetooth music to listen from my phone. It’s a pain, where as the last headunit would just connect as soon as I got in the car and could play music straight from there.

Yes it’s 8.1. Thanks for that, CPUz says api 27 but lists android Version 10? Would I go about installing android 9 the same way as mentioned in other threads? Again, apologies, I’m new to this.
What is the install protection?
I’ve tried launchers but there missing the Bluetooth audio widgets and minor things like that.

But what I believed to be the link for android 9 turned out to be android 8.1.
Again I’m not up on this so it was probably a mistake on my behalf.
But it did work and was as easy as downloading the firmware. Putting it on an sd card. Putting it in the headunit and turning it on. Done.

Did you happen to save the original firmware? I have the same head unit and managed to erase my stock firmware only able to get it running again after installing 8.1

Yes thats the one. The Chinees act that we are crazy. It seems that there is a bug in the software which is in the MCU.

Problem is that i cannot install apk's from another place except Playstore. It returns me "problem parsing the package".

Last month I bought an Eonon GA9463B and they provided me a FW Upgrade from June 2020, but I am still not sure, if I have really android 10, because different apps shows different release versions.

I managed to find the Factory Settings code on my travels but cant seem to get into the Developer mode. It asks for a password.. I have tried 7890 (and the hour), 8888 and 123456 but it says wrong password..
MCU on this unit is CVD and its based on MT8163
Anyone know what other passwords work?

Yea , I have the same thing and require some help, the unit just does not want to unlock no matter what password i try, i want to know how to walk around this issue as i really want to find out what is there in the factory settings that i can tweak to make the system more fly, Thank you to anyone who notices this in advance !

Friends try current device date! In the format 2023.03.18 or 2023.18.03

Still no luck.. tried the date, the time and 7890 with the hour.. nothing works..
Any suggestions will be welcomed, the screenshot shows the build number

MCU on this unit is CVD and its based on MT8163
Anyone know what other passwords work?

It's 000000

Have what appears to be the same head unit which uses password 000000 for system settings. Wondering if anyone has discovered the developer options password to activate usb debugging do a system dump etc please see attached photo for model and build references

Hi. I believe I have a similar unit. However it says Android 13 (which I believe might be fake). I'm so new to Android HU lol.
I have another issue related to Zlink where the resolution seems wrong. All of the icons are big.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Password is: actual date in a format YYYY.MM.DD but there is no need to change anything in Developers mode

That worked for me but I think I have some knockoff Radio. GUI doesn't look at all like the pictures on Ebay.

Lucky you.. never worked for me..
I have noticed that while majority of the sellers are good.. some are cowboys on Dhgate or Ali express..
I can't get the dual or split screen to work either

bad sellers we own the product they shouldn't leave us without the password... the device is very slow with the animations on and you can only deactivate it with the developer options
