Just bought a car that came with a generic Android Head Unit (the box says "acoustic" but could not find that brand anywhere).
I have tried most, if not all, the factory settings passwords that have been mentioned in these forums. None work.
Here is the information from the unit:

Hi, I did ask the car dealership and they do not know. It is a Chinese brand car (FAW) that comes with a Chinese radio and they don't know who the manufacturer of that radio is.
As I said all they did was give me the box which says on the outside: acoustic. But did not find that brand on the internet.

You can install the Shortcut Master App. Once you do, open it and search for factory settings and you will be able to open it without entering passwords.
Hi everyone, I have a chinesse car with the same head unit, my question is how to get the playstore in that unit? I cannot install applications, how do I update to a newer android version but with playstore so I can install any app I want

Please help me out to find out the password for Style Setting (for UI change ) inside the factory setting
The password worked to enter factory setting was 1617 and i am running on android 10

Hello the password you seek should be 111333
I was looking for the samething and i came accross it and it worked for me.

You don't need Password for change the UI in k2001
all you have to do in car setting click on export setting
it make a backup files in your flash drive
remove the flash drive from device and connect it to your pc
then go to flash drive.. open launcher_style file with notepad
change it to what number you want to be
for example i have 4 Style on my device.. if you want set it on the first one. Change the file to one
make sure you use small letter. If you type One, it doesn't work
in my device #3 style in very good.. so I just type three on the file.. save
connect it to device.. it automatically find the backup file and ask you to import or not.. click ok.. it restart the device and change the style to what you select

I've update the MCU and after that I got 2 problems:
1) Radio not working at all ( try to change setting from Factory Settings and still not working).
2) AVIN ( the front camera ) it's work sometimes BUT mostly not working.
I've tried the following:
1) Go throw the settings and Factory settings make settings like original.
2) GO throw settings and Factory settings and try everything.
3) Change the MCU version ( until now I tried 8 files).
4) Flash the MCU and Flash the Rome ( also Conversely).
* I have chose the MCU file carefully based on the HU that I have.

Except that link points to 21 folders with MCU files in them. MOST of them are KLD, only a few are KLD1, which is what you have. Did you try the KLD1 MCU? And why are you shouting?
Well I tried KLD1, and it's the same.
I think we need the stock one.
By the way I figured how to run AVIN, you can do it through the steering wheel buttons(Mode) , this method works always, but still we need to run it through the screen.
For the radio issue I couldn't solve it until now.
I think we need to ask Eonon company to gives us the stock files.

I have a problem with the radio too. I cant autosearch on the radio. If I put the frequency manually it works. But autosearch doesnt. Any idea? Trying to change in factory settings the type of radio but no change.
I have KDL2 v.267 from the factory, not done any update by me.

Hi, this problem happened after update wrong MCU
Thanks for your answer. My MCU was never updated. So probably they (chinese) did it at the factory and put a bad MCU update? So you think i should downgrade to an older version. (kdl2 v2.67 is the newest version). I will try with KDL2 v2.55 an see if it works.
Sry for another of my post. I've tried a downgrade to kDL2 v2.55.Same problem. I've tried KDL 2.64. Same problem. But everything works on KDL and on KDL2 mcu update. Just the radio is not working.

Yep. With the Mayalsks rom it works like charm. After installing Maya's ROM the radio start working.

I had this same problem. Reloaded the factor rom setting so i was back to the way it was when i bought it and still no radio. turns out it was a setting under factory settings. my pin to get abscesses was 121212 not 126 like the manual said. i had to select TDA7786 and do a factory reset and it worked fine. i have a pic but not sure how to add it

Sorry for bumping this but I really don't know what to do.
I have a MTCD XRC which have worked somewhat well but now the radio is totally dead. I can't auto search channels, there is no radio noice or nothing. Audio works otherwise but the radio is totally gone.
I tried to do a factory reset, no change.
I went to factory settings to see what radio was selected like the photo above but I only have "YES" and "NO" to select, nothing else!
Anybody? Please?
Edit: It just died while listening to the radio in the middle of a song, it just went quiet and I have not been able to get it working again after that :/

Yes I upgraded to the latest MCU for my model (XRC) and installed Maylask latest rom then the radio just went quiet and auto search not working. I then tried to change back both rom and MCU to stock, but still not working
I tried the above in factory settings but the only options I have under radio is "YES" and "NO". I can not select radio chip
I have the same issue. The 121212 (and m123456) codes work for getting to "factory settings" but on the Radio menu there's just YES/NO and no way to select a tuner chip. Anyone have any ideas? This is on a PX3 2GB Android 7.1.2 headunit.
Update: Switched to the Mayalsks ROM but that didn't help. I was hoping I would get to choose a radio module but it is still just YES/NO.

I would like to start this forum on Eincar Radios. I found the user manual and support poor and would like to contribute my findings and ask for help in areas where I'm stuck. Also based on my experience I find the carjoying support much better and would rather recommend people to look into this brand if they interested in android car radios

I believe I have the same unit as you. The passwords and types of errors you listed are the same as mine. The MCU version matches as well. If you find anything else out let me know!
Are you sure this post belongs in MTCB - what details do you have to confirm the unit is an MTC*B*

Have you found out how to enter recovery mode I have an older version eincar double din that won't get past boot screen i have the software on it but I can't get the damn thing to boot I ended up buying a newer version running 6.0 but right now I have a radio that i know can be fixed I plugged it into my computer through a double sided usb cord my computer reads it but u can't get it to run

why you cant pass the bootscreen? did you try to change it to a personalized one and messed the bootscreen?
if thats the case, with the car/ignition off, connect a wire from the red positive 12v to the wire that says reverse. turn ignition on, wait 30 seconds and remove the wire. this will make the radio boot in rear camera mode and bypass the bootscreen.

Ya so I just tried the reverse wire to the red wire it kicks into reverse but still doesn't so anything it's sitting at the android screen I tried to root the damn thing but Idk what happened

Hi Guys, i have same double din radio and always after start my radio is start 87.50 MHz . All wire is connect proper when radio is start keep all saved station and start whit my custom logo that's mean the problem is not in power. This is the same as my Xtrons TR771L, but I'm also looking for a place where to get updates for it.
I also have a similar head unit from WANQI.
It has android oreo 8.1.0 and as far as I can tell it is an Allwinner T8 unit
I would also like the password for the boot animation app.
The seller said it is 8888 or 123456 however this is not working.

hello my h.u. came with outdated zlink (carplay app), it crashes after a while using waze, i wanted do update it, donwloded the vesion on this forum, but couldn't do it, it fails while trying, so i guess it needs to be rooted in order to do so, i wanted to backup my version and try to install this updated version, and even maybe update the whole android (mine is 8.1 here), can anyone help me with it ? suggesting the program and room to do so, i'm not a experienced android user. thank you in advance !

Ask the seller for the update, they usually have a flash stick with an update folder... I discovered that after complaining about some software issues

did you ever activate it? im in the same boat. and signing up for wechat is impossible because i dont know anyone who uses it

In the same situation, but it is Tlink, same company I think, the activation screens are the same. Tried wechat miniapp but it look like it is for mass activation bundles.
Same problem here, I have SpeedPlay app is another app but same activation code. I had activated but I upgrade my system and change my ID, result app no active.

I try zlink and speedplay apps with my headhunt connect to wifi internet or mobile hotspot and NO self activated. I try a lot of versions.
Finally, the support team activated the zlink and I was able to use CarPlay even wirelessly. I only needed to connect to the personal access point of the iPhone the first time and it worked like magic. I use zlink 4.0.6.

RESOLVED – OK so I had an issue similar to the one you all are discussing.
First when I got the unit, it wouldn't connect to WiFi, then I was getting the MFI not found errors either via Bluetooth or plugged in USB. Then after I did a factory reset, I got this "inactive, click to activate" which also wouldn't work.
Then I emailed and they provided this link, which worked perfectly for me:
System firmware
The newest system firmware for system updating with instructions and download link.

1) Download Files
2) Copy the two downloaded files (dmcu.img and update.zip) to the main directory (don`t pack the downloaded files with any folder) of the SD card or an USB drive（The SD card or USB drive must be formated in FAT32).
3) Plug the SD card or the USB drive into the unit.
4) Go to the menu of Settings==>System ==>MCU updates
5) Go to the menu of Settings==>System ==>System updates
(Please select the option of Wipe and format the data in flash.)
After the updating complete. Please note the first booting time after system updated will get a little longer.Please be patient to wait and please keep the power on when the system is updating or the head unit is booting.
6)You can delete dmcu.img and update.zip file in the SD card or unplug the USB drive after system updating completed.
Worked like a charm! We now have CarPlay!

MCU on this unit is CVD and its based on MT8163
Anyone know what other passwords work?
Yea , I have the same thing and require some help, the unit just does not want to unlock no matter what password i try, i want to know how to walk around this issue as i really want to find out what is there in the factory settings that i can tweak to make the system more fly, Thank you to anyone who notices this in advance !

It's 000000
Have what appears to be the same head unit which uses password 000000 for system settings. Wondering if anyone has discovered the developer options password to activate usb debugging do a system dump etc please see attached photo for model and build references

Password is: actual date in a format YYYY.MM.DD but there is no need to change anything in Developers mode

That worked for me but I think I have some knockoff Radio. GUI doesn't look at all like the pictures on Ebay.

Lucky you.. never worked for me..
I have noticed that while majority of the sellers are good.. some are cowboys on Dhgate or Ali express..
I can't get the dual or split screen to work either
bad sellers we own the product they shouldn't leave us without the password... the device is very slow with the animations on and you can only deactivate it with the developer options
