Try running an app that can analyze disk storage usage. From there you can find which files or folder is using up the space.

Thats the problem. Internal storage is empty. Can't save files unfortunately, will do a full wipe/format in twrp

Internal storage is corrupted, try reflashing firmware and also see if twrp or any custom recovery if it recognizes that there is something in the storage. Good luck!:good:

{Question} Nexus 7 subfolders

When browsing around my root explorer I noticed I have 9 subfolders marked "O". How I guess is from flashing roms. It's pretty imperative that I free up space on my tablet, but I don't not know how to determine which subfolders the rom is running on. Most all have program data and a twrp folder. When I go to my twrp recovery to restore a backup after flashing a new rom, twrp cannot find the backup files. How can I eliminate some of theses subfolders without compromising the integrity of the rom. I'm running Paranoidandroid 3.57.

Yeah, you're several months behind the power curve on the recovery side of the house. Update, and then copy everything from the last nested 0 folder to data/media/0. You can then delete the 0 folders nested therein.

No do not delete any of those files. You need to let us know what baseband your device is on and we'll start from there.

Internal storage wiping
When I want to start completely fresh, I wipe the internal storage via TWRP before I flash a ROM.
It is located in TWRP under advanced wipe.
I would not suggest doing it using Windows Explorer.

I think you can wipe it all. AFAIK the rom you flash will populate the internal with what it needs.
I would, to be, safe, back up internal to your pc before formatting it--

[Q] SafeStrap Storage

Hey Everyone!
Today I flashed SHOstock via SafeStrap v3.71 (MK2). I had a lot of internal storage. However, after flashing the ROM to rom-slot-1, I get a persistent message on the notification panel stating that "storage space is running low".
Storage apps in the app store say that I have 8.1 GB of internal storage, but the phone's storage settings states that I only have 145 MB of available space.
14.44 GB is being devoted to system memory which seems like an incredibly high amount.
Could someone explain what is going on and how I could rectify this issue?
Thank you in advance!
16gb phones have around 9.5 useable and 32gb phones have 22gb or so. Nothing we can do.

I understand that, however I have more free space than the rom in safestrap is showing. That is the problem.
When I open storage with the slot1 rom, this is what I see:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
However, this is how much space I should have:
Don't you adjust the size of it when you create a rom slot? Whatever the slot size that you create will depend on what your free space will be. That is my understanding anyway.

How to push files from your PC by using ADB and TWRP

Hi fellows,
I've just screwed up my leeco stock system by deleting accidentally all system files. TWRP is fortunately still working, but now I can't copy a new rom file to the internal storage, as I can't use any file explorer app.
I've tried to do this by using minimal adb fastboot 1.4.1 portable:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Even though I followed all the steps, It didn't work.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Thank you for your answer, but it didn't work for me, but thanks to that driver I could push some little files (1kb) to my mobile phone:
BUT I couldn't repeat the process with big files (like the stock rom), because the transfer gets stuck by the 1%.
The issue has been solved!
I could push the file by using Minimal ADB and Fastboot (Version 1.4.2 with installer) in recovery mode.
I needed a new computer without any old adb drivers and I used the driver suggested by bayad: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...-twrp-t3180926 with windows 10 in safe mode.
Thank you very much.

It seems to be standard 6.0.1 version, try to download update file and place it on your SD card, then check for update again. Careful, after downloading ZIP, you have to unzip it and find 'update.zip' file that you need to copy (without unpacking). http://disk.myzte.ru/SW/Axon7mini_Android7(SD card software).zip
