Because I don't wants things to be systemless.
Because of this systemless, I can't make my system in r/w.
(Somewhere a guy said - this systemless root is the reason why mounting system r/w as this hard (you know whatbi mean))
Sorry for my bad English

I dont want to be systemless

Hey,
I'm trying to make Secure Settings work but I think the app is not compatible with systemless root (if this is not true, tell me please). I went with systemless root at first because it was the latest and what everyone was talking about but, tbf, Android Pay is not even available where I live so I see no point on staying with systemless.
I'm on Cataclysm and ElementalX. What's the best way to go from systemless root to system root?
Thanks
Sorry for reviving an old post - but same here. I flashed the latest SuperSU zip without knowing it was systemless.
I believe you can unroot usign SuperSU and then flash an earlier version of the SuperSU zip that works with Marshmallow.
Hello,
Why I can't have TWRP installed when my phone is rooted with SuperSu? I prefer SuperSu to Magisk and I would like to have TWRP on my phone. Support soon? Thanks.
Why cant you get ass down and wait for developers to work on it? U paid for xiaomi but why did you ask from developers in xda? Does not make sense.

To post this kind of comment you should have shut up, it would have been better. It was a question to understand how it works.

You can, but you will loose OTAs if so.
NO, IMPOSSIBLE. The architecture of the Mi A1 makes the recovery is in the boot.img and SuperSu patches the boot.img to root the system... How to make TWRP and SuperSu co-existence? I don't like Magisk! If I have TWRP installed and that I flash SuperSu, I can't boot to my phone because the boot is patched...
Thanks.

Not liking Magisk is bull****, it both grants root access and with Magisk u also can install modules without touching system partition which SuperSU can't.
Well, google pay says I have a rooted phone with lineage on it that is why it wont work. First that is ridiculous, second how do I get this work.

omg ok thanks
@LazyNoNos - You must get rid of supersu first
In TWRP
install unsu to get rid of Supersu https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...php?p=63615067
install Magisk
reboot
I'm looking for a way to get "not systemless" root on MIUI Global Stable v10.3.9 with r/w access to /system. I've already tried SuperSU 2.82 and it doesn't work. Does anyone has any ideas how it could be done?
Have you tried Magisk?
I wouldn't use SuperSU now that the Chinese bought it.

Magisk is a "systemless" way to get root, so /system remains unmodified. I intend to install software which modifies /system and it requires system to be rooted with /system modification. I know, that Magisk is a good solution (especially when you use google pay and you want to keep your system up to date with OTA), but in my case Magisk is not an option.
Is there anyway to recover drm protection after rooting my lg g6 ? Im not able to watch netflix ultra hd with hdr and that sucks

What do you mean mate can you help me doing it? Please!
Did you install the Lineage SU tool or the old SuperSU or root via one of the apps like Kingo Root?
Then install Magisk.zip via TWRP and later install Magisk Manager.

I couldn't understand you mate all I did was unlock bootloader then flash pixel experience and install magisk via twrp I never used kingroot I have LG h870 europe
Then you have already the optimal conditions to hide root from apps via Magisk Manager. If the netflix app is smarter than that, there's probably no hope. I have one banking app which can recognize root despite Magisk Hide, but works after a warning.
(and Netflix currently throttles bandwidth due to "certain circumstances", probably therefore no 4K)

even with a custom ROM mate? u can hide root using magisk ? but since update 20.4 there's no magisk hide except Magisk props config i guess u can spoof hardware using it ( sorry for being noob here )
My LG870 still has stock & no root.
But my older Samsung devices have LOS16&17, Magisk 20.4 and Magisk Hide available.
