Hi, i often got the notification telling that "Snapdragon Gallery is running" in the notification area, i don't even install this app, and it's not appeared on the app drawer, is it ok if i'm deactivate it, currently using 060 firmware.
Thanks

Hello. Can someone help me remove that Chinese notification. Clicking on it won't do. Is there any app for notification center customization? Thanks.

Long press on the notification next time it appears and you can select app info. From there, you can see which app causes the notification.

Hello guys,
I have been using whats app on my Note II for almost 6 months now and yet I haven't figured out how to enable quick reply on Note II.
I have saved a screen shot form Google Play and attached it along with this post.. I am running stock ROM and latest whatsapp version.. Can anyone please tell me how is it done? or can we do so?
Cheers
You may go through the Settings then Notifications and enable Popup notifications

It is quite simple but has each page has different menu settings it is easily overlooked.
Toggle to the chats page. Then hit the menu button bottom left. Then settings.
Go into notifications and move down to popup notification. Check always show popup.
Notifications now show even when phone sleeps.

On my Nexus 4, there is stock app called "Sound Recorder" that I used to be able to enable/disable from app settings. There is no uninstall option. When enabled, it would add an icon to the app drawer and when disabled the icon would go away. Recently I tried enabling it and the icon did not show up in the app drawer. I've tried doing this several times and restarting as well. I'm rooted on stock 4.4.2. I'd like to get this app enabled again w/an icon. Anyone have any thoughts.

I believe its a system app so I'm not sure how to reinstall it. I couldn't find it on Google Play.

Yes I did, and was a crafty update because I only usually get it through samsung AppStore, but this time it came through google playstore. Have disabled the app now.

Whenever I turn on my screen, there's a Location Found notification appearing on my lockscreen. Any clue how I can disable that?

Is the location switch in the drop done menu on /
if yes, then turn it off and the issue should stop.
If no, then you need to find which app is asking for a location fix. It could be weather app.

Definitely want to keep location settings on. Curious how I could tell what app is prompting the notification though.

what apps do you have that rely on location ?
try disabling one by one till the notification does not appear.
Do you have a partner as I use this to see where my wife is using the android built in app, and when I do this comes up on her phone, so maybe someone is checking up on you?
