I also have problems with loudness and sub (sub gain not working). Seller "forgot" to send me extra "sub RCA" harness for that. I hope it works. I guess the software is ok.

I just brought ts9-sp9853i , its really fats but Im having problem connecting to android auto and even simple mirror link won't work or something I'm doing wrong. I tried headunit reloaded but it only shows blank screen. Anyone can tell how to connect your phone for android auto please let me know. My phone is Note 8 by the way.

Hi. I just bought the same headunit and have issues with it. Initially when plugged in there was sound when i played the radio/bt music/ music however i was trying to get the steering wheel control working and changed the MCU (through extra setting--> model choose). From this moment on, the sound stops working. Is there a way to reset the MCU or any other method to get sound playing again? i have tried factory reset, reset, turning on and off etc etc. I drive a 2013 Honda Civic Hatchback. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have also same model octa sp9853 installed in my Toyota Corolla 2010 hybrid. Yesterday i was playing music through bluetooth and i tried changing volumes from my steering controls. The music stopped playing and can't hear any sound. In my phone music is still playing over Bluetooth but no sound in cars speaker and my phone. Please help me fix it. Thank You.

Tried the method with terminal but it stuck with the Android logo and " no command" text. Didnt had time to try other physically methods.

Could anyone find the Carda DSP app? I also deleted it with factory reset. I would be grateful if someone could share it with me or point me in the right direction. If someone has it installed, an installer apk can be created very easily.
The only problem is that the volume is too low. (most likely because the Carda app is missing). I can also imagine that some other app would get the job done, but I could not find any.

it has android 5.1.1 and i was looking for a way to upgrade it to 6.0 or change the user interface a bit. i have some problems in it. google maps showing very washed out i cant figure out the streets. but it has sygic preinstalled and i downloaded here we go by nokia.. anyway i uploader the about page so maybe you can help. thanks

I had that worming removed but were you able to resolve the sound to all the speakers?

I have the same problem
You should check wiring from your original car audio system if rear speakers using amplifier then there must be separate connection with low sound input. You could use AUX out for it.

After some time I only hear very hard pop noises and the DSP app (from Penhui, CARDA Fiber DSP) will not respond correctly. When I restart the unit sometimes this issue is gone but after some time It's not fixable anymore and I have to reset the unit to factory specs. The DSP app is needed in order to have sound anyway. So I have to re-install this app every time I reset the head unit.
Does someone has a MCU update or Software update for this unit, or even an update apk file on the DSP app?
I can share all the OEM apk's if someone needed these .

I am sorry, I can not help you with your problem.
I know this thread is a bit old, but maybe you can still help me. I factory reset my similar headunit and now all the OEM apps are gone, including CARDA Fiber DSP, which is needed for proper sound. I looked for it on the internet but sadly found nothing.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could share possibly all the OEM apks with me

I bought a second hand unit, with no sound, only beeps!
Previous owner flashed device with an update, and he got no radio, very low sound on youtube, so he sold it like that!
Can someone help to verify wich unit i have exactly so i can flash proper MCU?

Hi mate.
Yes, i eventually flashed proper MCU, its was 6686 and not 7708.
But i also updated to android 10, and before i had malysk rom in settings i remember that i could choose between 6686 and 7708 driver for radio?
After update to android 10 i dont have that setting to change...and i guess i left it set in 7708.
At the moment everything seems to work, but radio has very low sound, only hear at max volume and very low.
All other apps, youtube, spotify sound works and intended.
Now i would like to downgrade to malysk rom, but dont know if its possible, just to be able to change that, maybe thats a fix for radio?

I followed few youtube videos and managed to open up "Engineer Mode", however, my unit doesn't have Audio test under Hardware testing. Should I check any other places for it?

I’m having a similar issue but it appears to only be low while using CarPlay via the Zlink app. Are you using the phone with just BT or an app?
