Avin Avant 2 doesn't boot

Good morning, I have got an Avin unit Avant 2 for BMW E46 purchased on january 2015 with Android 4.4.1 and last firmware release
After two years of perfect run now I have a big problem. I want to make a short summary of avin e46 isuues. (sorry for my bad english)
On the 2th January 2017 in the afternoon I start my car from a park and avin unit run without problem;
After 10 min of travel with navi on, unit stop to run screen become black and when I restart the car or the unit avin logo was showed for a few second and after disappear:
On the 3th January 2017 when I start my car in the mornng unit was run regular but during the day i park my car and when i restart I've got the same issue of day before. So I try to make a soft reset but nothing run (
On the 4th january 2017 I hope then unit start after the night but when I start my car in the morning nothing run. Avin logo appears NOW for less than a second and anything run.
So I wrote an email to Avin support and after I try to:
- check wires and check battery (wires ok battery is a brand new exide plus)
- made reset factory whit power button (8 shot + 1 15 sec as you suggest) result RESET FACTORY DON'T START
- update with sd card in navi slot and reset hole with your software update result UPDATE DON'T START
- remove unit from the car and power in with a 12v dc external power source result SAME ISSUE THAN MOUNTED IN CAR
All thing that I do give me the same response: nothing.... run and avin logo for less then a second (power is ok because red light is on, cd run ecc ecc)
Please someone can help me because buying this quality unit was very expensive I have preferred it for a cinese unit but I need that it works fine. Thank you Marco

Avon avant 2 stuck on logo
My unit powers up, shows the BMW logo and then stays on Android logo and won't move on from that. I have tried the 8x power button rest but can't reset. Could this be a power issue.

Erisin ES6405V power down/sleep

I have just installed this unit to my VW. Everything is working well so far, the only problem I have is that when I switch the ignition off, a message pops up "shutting down," and the screen switches off but the unit does not fully power down, it goes into a sleep mode. When I turn on the ignition, the unit immediately 'wakes up', there is no start up. This would be fine, but I think it is draining the battery staying in this sleep mode.
I've read that you can change the shutdown timer settings in the factory settings menu but I have no option to do it. The only option regarding power I have is the power status option which can either be ON, OFF or LAST MEMORY. This seems to do nothing.
Does anybody have a fix or can tell me where to find the right settings?

I bought a Erisin head unit for my VW transporter and I had the same problem. I found with playing with the little dip switches at the back of the unit worked. I had 4 to play with : 1.Nc
2.Nc
3.ACC
4 REVERSE CAM

What kind of power off problem do you refer to?

Got the same problem with my erisin 3015.
Always on (auto sleep) if i set "none" to can bus in factory settings.
Always off (always boot up) if i set can bus to 01 VW
Use LM 2.52 mcu

My PX6 head unit is stuck on the Android 9 boot logo

Hello, I installed my new Px6 octacore radio and it's stuck on the Android boot logo. The only thing that works is the reverse camera then back to the boot logo.
The reverse camera always work 100% when I put the car in reverse but when I take off the reverse it always goes back to the boot logo.
I tried the reset button but the screen just turns black, then the welcome screen appears the android logo appears again but it gets stuck on the loop every time.

the reverse camera works without android, so it works always despite of what the status of android is.
it seems you have an infinite bootloop, try to remove ALL power from the unit. turning your car on and off is not good enough, you'll need to remove the power connector (dinplug) from the unit.. wait for a while and plug it in the unit again. (or remove the positve lead from your car battery)
now try again..
if that does not work press the screen with 5 vingers during bootup..
if it still doesn't work, try tapping on the screen from first power on. it should say "detected" in the upper left corner.
if it says detected, you can try flashing new firmware.

I tried all of your recommendations but no luck. I was not even able to get the detected message to appear on screen.
Strangest thing is that it worked fine the entire day until I installed the backup camera and put it into reverse for the first time. After that it never worked again.
I know you mentioned that the reverse camera has nothing to do with the android part but that's exactly when it locked up.

do you have an external amp or powered antenna connected to the HU to?
it seems there is either a problem with a groundloop, or a hardware problem..
disconnect the camera from the HU (the power switch cable and the plug) and any other powered stuff, so you just end up with the head unit having 12V, ACC and GND, and give it a try again..
(i'm rooting for you!:laugh

Thanks ducthcommando! The seller tells me that it's a bad motherboard and is willing to send me a new motherboard for me to replace but I'd rather get a new unit. Either way I'm going to try out what you told me by unplugging everything except the basic power plug and see if that works.
I'm weary of these android head units now. Do you have any good recommendations for single din PX6 units? Thanks.

and no, i don't have any single din units to recommend..
the best of the best are cloned fast and easy, so if one says you need the blablabla 9X pro, and you do a search for it, you could well end up with a fake unit...
also there are way, way more knowledgeable people here who know trusted resellers and best brands..

Need Recovery mode Avin Avant 4 Android 9.0 PX6 unit

Hi there,
After doing an upgrade my unit it stuck with a black screen and need to get into recovery mode in order to reload a working firmware.
Anyone any idea how to get there?
Tried the reset button for some time with and without home or on/off button and also removed the power source and pressed reset while putting power back but nothing seems to work
So i'm stuck for now :crying:
Any help?

Did you ever get your unit fixed? Did you try restarting with a USB plugged in with the firmware file on it?

No sorry... never got it working again. Had to send it back for a replacement unit.

I've been doing a lot of back and forth with their support on another issue and I've updated my MCU and software so many times now I thought maybe I'd be able to give you a hand.
Do you use any navigation apps on your Avant4? When I use ones that have voice navigation, the voice is getting truncated at the start and end of the directions. Some apps more than others and it seems to be related to those apps that use TTS (Text to Speech).

I'm using Waze via Android Auto. So i'm not having this problem.

So it runs from your phone and just displays on the Avant4? I have Waze running on the unit directly and it gets truncated.

I have al running on my phone and use a Android Auto box.
U can buy it from Avin USA. See website for all options on your Avant4.

If you hold the volume knob until it starts blinking then let go and hold it down again it will boot the unit into recovery mode.

New PX6? Stuck on vehicle boot logo

Sorry for the newbie post, I am a computer guy but haven't messed with these android head units. Looks like there isn't much out there for this problem/unit or unit problem lol.

I bought this off an eBay seller ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/Android-10...2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 ) hoping for some support if it broke. Well it's broken and they have only messaged me once suggesting I disconnect and reconnect, which didnt work.
It worked great FOR A DAY until I changed the boot logo and turned on the floating buttons...
Stopped at the store and it's been boot logo ever since.
There is only the RST button (which will and none of the bootloader tricks work.
Pushed 10x
Held 15, 20, 30 seconds, the lights never flash.
I tried the 5 point finger touch and the single finger touch on boot.
I disconnected everything except the power/acc/ground.
At this point I would pay someone to help me because we're on a 35 hour road trip and 21 hours left. I have my laptop and a USB drive if reflashing it is an option.

Finally got some communication from the seller. It is a 9212B Scheme
they don't know anything about entering recovery mode but sent me an update file that does nothing
