I am using z2 force phone with wireless charging moto mod and JBL speaker mod. Will these mods work with Z4 phone ?
Thanks,
Ching-Ho Cheng
I have projector, JBL soundboost 1 & 2, and 360° cam and all work with both Z3 Play and Z4
I don't have wireless charging mod though
Thank you
All mods should (theoretically) work on all z-phones
Got my new z4 unlocked phone from Lenovo and the Wireless charging mod fit right onto the phone ! Unlike my AT&T z2 force, this z4 is not carrier specific unlocked so it works with T-Mobile flawlessly. I am able to make either Wifi or Gsm call anywhere.
Will z4 get Android 10 update ? Right now, it uses Android 9. My wife new G6 unlocked phone also runs Android 9 but she hates the "missing" feature to adjust the ring/notification volume using volume adjuster buttons as in z2 force (running Android 8).

I recently just bought a Sony 601bt touch screen head unit for my vehicle. I am very fond of this piece of technology as It has the capability to push Pandora via bluetooth. It also has MirrorLink, which allows for a smart phone to push the display onto the display, wirelessly. I own a Galaxy Note n7000 as well as a HTC One X. Is there anyway to add this functionality to either of these phones? I have the Note rooted, so I would try for that at first.
Currently limited to only the S3 I'm afraid but there are a number of members here hoping for compatibility and a couple of guys kindly looking into it when they can...

Has anyone already tested the mirrorlink connection to headunits from other manufacturers than Sony?
One year ago, I bought the Pioneer AppRadio 3 to use it with my Samsung device, but since Samsung updated to Android 4.4, Mirrorlink is not longer available.
Therefore, I'm going to buy a Z3 compact, if it works properly...
It should work as long as you don't unlock the bootloader. The loss of the DRM keys causes also the loss of the mirror link capability.
I already had older Xperias , and I had problems with the compatibility of headphones ... when the headphone that came with it stopped working , no other headphone I bought worked right . I saw that the Xperia Z3 Compact , at least where I live, comes with a simple phone , and the other from Sony are well expensive for me , as for example one with noise reduction. Would anyone tell me if I have this problem with the Xperia Z3 Compact ? Any headphone that works with him and that is accessible and good do you recommend ? PS : I live in Brazil . Thanks.
All of the headphones should work except the older Nokia/Samsung/Sony specific ones for the Z3C. They use the CTIA spec, so if you're not sure, just check if the headphones use that spec and you're good. The older Xperia's like yours used OMTP (nokia also used it) so that's why you had compatibility problems. they only thing that is not guaranteed is the in-line buttons. Some manufacturers use weird combinations that may not work.
I'm using a HTC headset (for the M7) with 3 button control with mine and it works without issues.
JBL J22I
I Have a JBL J22I and works perfectly on my Lumia 925, only the buttons do not work , I do not care .
Does this JBL J22I works with Z3c ?
well a quick search says it's made specifically for iphone. and since androids use the same spec as iphone, it should work. probably not the buttons though.
this article says it works and the mic works, but not the buttons:

HTC E242 earphones work with the Xperia Z3 Compact, all three buttons included.
+ (volume)
central (play/pause, two quick presses for next track, three quick presses for last track)
- (volume)

I have a Moto 360 and am thinking about getting a Smartwatch 3 for running and working out...can these be paired with the same phone? Thanks!
A friend of my have also 2 smartwatches and he can pair them with the same phone...Moto 360 and Pebble..
I don't think you can pair two wear watches at the same time.
A Pebble and a wear is no problem, a Samsung gear (other than the gear live) and a wear works as well... In fact I have had paired a Pebble, a gear 2 and a gear live at the same time.
i have the g watch and moto 360. can't be paired at the same time, but one at a time is no problem - setting > pair with a new wearable...

Do you have to reset the watch when you pair back?
Nope
I have a pebble and LG G Watch R and both work well together
But I don't two android wear ones could be paired at the same time
I have one
A little change in the question that I would like to ask, can my LG G Watch be paired with two phones simultaneously?
I don't think that works. But one at a time works great. I wear a G watch R all day, then run with a SW3. It doesn't reset, you can switch back and forth no problem.

Have the same 'problem'. Private phone and work phone. Would be great to get notifications from both on my watch LG g watch r .
Any ideas. Maybe with root acces?
sent from my Galaxy S4 i9505 CM12
Unfortunately at the moment it can only be one phone without resetting your watch between. However you can have two watches associated with one phone but only one connected at a time. The latest update to the android wear phone app had been rearranged to allow you to connect and disconnect via a drop down menu without having to go through the "pair a new device" option like you used to. I have a SW3 and a LG GWR associated with my phone and switch between them by toggling one off and then turning the other on in that drop down menu.
But be warned, the updated app wouldn't connect to either of my watches until I reset them.
The latest update to the Wear app has enabled this!
Someone has managed to activate - built this feature on Oreo LG G6.
Bluetooth headphones - turn on the ringing into bandwidth.
Allow ringtones to be played through bluetooth headphones.
I include it as a developer option, but it does not work.
Android Oreo 8.0 EU LG-H870 20A STOCK ROM.
This option is very necessary for my work.
Any luck?
Any chance of having someone look into this?
Fairly common issue for LG users. I also need this function for work. As much as I dislike iPhone I may be returning to one if Android is going to make us a wait another 5 years for this to work.
