DZ09 Smartwatch firmware wanted! MTK 6250DA PROCESSOR! RAM may be 32mb (4mb). - Other SmartWatches

My DZ09 smartwatch arrived in the mail today with a horrible surprise of it being bricked. After doing a memory test using the sp flash tool the watch was indeed alive, and after disassembling it turns out the site I got it from (eBay) LIED TO ME by claiming it's an MTK6261 processor with 128 MB of RAM! Every single firmware I tried would return one of these errors:
S_DL_MAUI_FLASH_ID_NOT_MATCHED_WITH_TARGET (5055)
S_FT_DA_NO_RESPONSE (4001)
Something about a BROM error (Code unknown)
Also something about baseband versions mismatched with the firmware (Code unknown)
Unfortunately, I can't show the motherboard because XDA won't allow it, but the motherboard PCB was black, had the mtk6250da chipset on it. That's all the difference honestly.
I have tried EVERY SINGLE FIRMWARE! From MTK6262, to MTK6261, MTK6260, and of course, MTK6250DA. I am seriously losing hope of this thing because from a review of the product someone mentioned it lacking the advertised features but I knew they were there because long ago I had the same model with the same chipset and even that version included the main stuff like browser, WhatsApp, BT Dialing, Anti-Loss. At this point, it's on asking people like you to help me.
Cheers!

Zenfone 5 T00J Lots of issues (KK4.4.2 1GB model)

Good day,
I bought that cell in a normal shop on my city. It was well packed, sealed and sticks are normal.
In the box it says ASUS_T00J(A501CG), serial number matchs, imeis matches too and all seemed normal except two sticks on lateral all in chinese (one of them mention tenaa.com.cn)
Randomly I have issues, like:
Fast wipe, don't charging, self-reboot, slow opening, slow working, gets warm or quite hot when calling, slow 3G download speed, cannot hide outgoing number on only one card, problems installing apps from GP, problems with some wifis AP, problems with 3G coverage or signal, touch panel random sensibility, easy to press home/back/menu buttons when chat due keyboard proximity...
Well, at least with those problems, works....
I tried to ask Asus Tech calling them and said that my cellphone do not have warranty as it is imported from China and it is not a WW version. But it is printed on strick A501CG Black WW 3G D 8Gb ¿EMMC? 1Gb RAM on back cover saig ASUS_T00J and some numbers and letter in chinese. At battery side, there two sticks all in chinese (one with imeis and serial number and other with model, wcdma XXX power in volt and some chinese letters more).
I do not understand why they deny to "solve" my battery not charging problem in warranty after asking SN.
I do not said compilation version nor it was rooted nor WW 2.20.40.13 release was installed (I played dumb/luser mode when asking help). I am really dissapointed by buying that cellphone besides it teorically good specs.
What do you thing about? What is better/stable firmware version for my cell? Any ideas?
I know that all service care in my country have the order "they buy it, if not really broken, it is not our fault besides on other countries, published notes, agreed the problem and they ask to replace, free of charge, the product without asking or argue it.." Like some Apple/Dell/HP laptops batteries or products with big stock problems. Here, they just ignore the client and they make the UX horrible. Surely you know what I mean.
Thanks a lot!!!!
PS: I solved charging problem cleaning cache partition. No idea why it become "cache" related with battery not charging. but it works another time, until happens other time.
That 1GB Model is just terrible. I got it for my grandfather. I regret that purchase. I should've rather picked the 1.6GHz model. In fact ZenFone 4.5 would've been better as well.
As for the battery, some data is stored in the cache so it made sense that you got it fixed by wiping cache.

KingWear KW18 Firmware update request and possibly other firmwares

Hello everyone!!
I was hoping to have some guidance and/or advices as far as MTK2502C development goes, most acurately the KingWear KW18 Smartwatch.
Let me explain,
Looking for a better and more updated firmware I flashed the official one from this page:
http://www.king-wear.com/download (KW18_UI2_B_V1_20161128) the "B" options seams to be multilingual in most of the official firmware sites I found, and this is supposed to be the manufacturators official website of my watch, however, when I turn on the watch after flashing, I'm having some display issues, seems that the display is not lined up and I have a white/colorful (Like TV noise) at the bottom of the display where the soft action/virtual buttoms should be. And the touch screen seems to be misaligned too, since to select an option I have to select the one is right below to actually trigger the option I desire. The rest seems to work fine, Bluetooth, Pedometer, Heart Rate, etc, all of that is working fince.
Does anyone know what cause this? Is it a hardware issue? Is it something I can configure on the scatter file?
I also tried to flash the No 1 G3 latest firmware, since I saw G3 and KW18 have pretty much the same specs and the G3 have a much nicer overall ROM visuals and UI, but when I turn on the watch after the flashing, the display doesn't turn on or responds, but if a click the On/Off hardware button on the side, the watch actually makes a bip sound, telling me that the watch actually works, the G3 firmware went through and I'm supposedly turning on and off the screen but it's just that the display doesn't light up, no image, no light not even super deemed, anything, just unresponsive black screen.
Any idea of what could be happening? Is the KW18 not compatible with the No 1 G3 firmware? I honestly do not know.
I made a back up before flashing anything and after each flashing error I have to go back to the stock KW18. It's ok, but I'd like to have a nicer User Interface. The official site shows "supposedly" real pictures of the product and the firmware showed ther looks upgrated to the one I have. Still trying to update through the Mediatek Smart Device or the FundoWear App shows that I'm running the "latest firmware". I and recall watching a video on Youtube where a guy was making a Review of a Smartwatch pretty similar to the KW18 and the watchface showed up the weather and the virtual action buttons where blue and not orange. Watch faces also look more useful and cooler.
I finally got tired of googling for a Official/Custom Rom for the KingWear KW18. The only MTK2502C development I've seen so far is for the IWO watch which has a squared display. I don't think it could work on the KW18 round display, but I don't know for sure.
If anyone have a Custom firmware or a more recent update for the KW18, or point me in the right direction to where to get it, would be espectacular and deeply apprecieated it.
Thanks for your attention. I hope someone could help.

How do you made your smartwatch backup? and what steps did you follow to upgrade the KW18?

None of them worked for me. There were misplaced UI issues in the three.

I used the Universal ReadBack Extractor from Golem_
Original post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sm.../readback-extractor-mtk6260-firmware-t3289272
I made a backup from the original firmware, (the one that came pre-installed), and install it back when none of the original firmware versions from KingsWear worked for me. All of them gave me screen misplaced UI issues. I googled a bit more and discovered that the K18 I had was some sort of prototype and that's why I had a lot of issues with the official firmwares from KingsWear. :\
It doesn't matter anymore. The is one of the most common problems when buying this type of chinese devices. If you pay more for other devices, you're ensuring everything will work as expected 99.99% of the time.
To fix my problem let's say I didn't keep the KW18 and I bought a First class smart watch with a cute Apple Logo on the back.
If you have the money and believe on the recommendations and user rating, then go for a more expensive, better-designed device.
Works better than a charm.
Firmware KW18
You placed that you had backed up the Clock before updating it, exactly the same happened to me with my KW18, but the problem I have that does not support the Firmware and I could not recover it. You would be so kind as to send me the original firmware to my email [email protected] I would be eternally grateful. From already thank you very much.

Can you upload a Fullflash Backup please?
I can try to edit
Thanks

Another eMMC failure, need IC replacement advice.

Skipping long story, finally I've decided to replace eMMC which finally went in to boot mode saying emmc read error. I've got flashed chip from aliexpress but when I was searching for it I used keywords "Note 4 emmc", and missed info that chip is for edge version (N915F), where my phone is standard one (N910F). So, what now, fit it and see what happen? fit and flash N910 software immediately? I suspect there will be issue with incorrect product code. Thinking about running phone disassembled with peltier attached to memory to see if I can root it, copy efs then replace the chip and restore proper content.
Is there pinout of eMMC KMR210008M-A805 so could flash it externally?
Repair failed.
Using peltier cooling I was able to root the phone and make full backup. Phone was working perfectly fine this way. Removal of old chip went fine. To fit new memory, first time I used different hot air station, it burned memory and processor. Later on I've checked it's air temperature out of nozzle, it was 150-200ºC more than set.
BTW "new flashed" chips sold on aliexpress in fact are reballed chips removed from scrapped phones.

TEST POINTS on the Main Board of the ZXDZ-01 or CVD1396-XT to remove it from BRICK

Hello everyone, I recently bought another 2din unit with the 8227L-DEMO and Device: CVD1396-XT, but this time with the real Android V8.1.o, sdk = 27, the board is from ALPS model ZXDZ-0, now The good thing comes, in my eagerness to achieve the almost perfect operation, check for updates and he only updated to version ZXDZ_2020.03.05.18 "ro.build.fingerprint = alps / full_8227L_demo / 8227L_demo: 8.1.0 / O11019 / 1583403795: user / test-keys ”.
Later and as always, I tried a newer ROM and from that moment I have a total brick, and sometimes the PC detects a new Device connected but it does not appear in the list nor does the PSFlashTool recognize it neither being fully powered nor powered only by 12v battery (the yellow wire)
In view of this, I begin to search the length and breadth of the WEB and I do not find any way to get the desired unbrick and surprisingly I do not find anything at all, it must be that there are so few units that they have not yet aroused the curiosity of the foreros of this forum and I ask for the collaboration of the experts a solution, it has the same board but with certain differences than the famous YT9213, YT9216, YT9217 and YT9218, all of these have a test point close to the CPU 9217L-DEMO and the board of the ZXDZ-01 even despite having the same processor and practically the same memory and sound chips, it lacks the fortunate TestPoin of the previous ones or at least I can't find it.
Please and with my thanks in advance, surely there are some who are in possession of that knowledge, I ask you to help me, I do not conceive of any "artifact" of those that are not protected by any physical mechanism or movement that saves their manipulators that more than possible "manipulation failures".
Attaching photos from the main boar ZXDZ01
Given that no one has been interested in my previous query and that this lack of interest may be due to the lack of knowledge of the ZXDZ-01 car radio, I present photographs of the main board on both sides since it is possible that they are on the market even with another brand. .
I hope that now someone remembers having seen that board and also the test points of voltage as the way to be able to revive it easily as with the already famous YT9216, Yt9217 or Yt9218 or with the most recent YT9213A.
* I cover myself
Hello, I find it hard to believe that there is no one who has knowledge of this hardware and who does not have enough knowledge to get my main board out of the catatonic state, in which I left it good, it will be necessary to allow a few months to pass before it becomes more well-known and therefore some other “brick” have also arisen for those who rescue them from their unfortunate state to appear, until then it was just a matter of waiting.
Thanks to all of them in advance.
Help bricked

Alt firmware for (possibly fake) DZ09 smartwatch?

Hi! I got a DZ09 smartwatch and it's missing a lot of stuff. Is there a way to run normal (I efully functional) firmware on the smartwatch? It doesn't seem to support notifications, vxp apps, or remote camera viewing.
I typed in *#3375# into phone app and got
Software V:
MX31D-COB-DZ09-7789-HSD-RQ-GL6113-ZH-V06.929-20190327
Also if anyone has the software to edit firmware or the MRE SDK, let me know bc I can't find it
I tried to do what your attempting here, but there are "geniune" dz09s, "fake" dz09s and many more, with different chipsets and different firmwares, despite all looking the same. I tried to find a firmware for mine, which was apparently a "fake" one, but couldnt. So i didnt get any further than that. Make sure to check which processor your watch has, you can do this by opening the back cover, removing the battery and then removing the back screws to remove the plastic bracket. Now you will be exposed to the motherboard, one of the chips on the board will be a mediatek one (the processor), read which one it is off of the label. I suggest doing it physically rather than through software as software can be faked to show a superior model.
I may be able to do that tomorrow but this is the model if it helps https://www.walmart.com/ip/Wintekd-...ports-Run-GSM-GPRS-SIM-4-Color-Gold/379234992
Also in the menu u get hy entering *#3646633# it says
<CHIP TYPE>
SC6531BA
apparently there's posts on here involving a DZ09 that has that chip
Again, you're on your own with this one. Maybe someone else will come round t ohelp, but I highly doubt that.
So far I found a lot of stuff from hardware version in that menu: SC6531_BAR
I'm not sure about custom firmware yet tho
Um any1 help.
I've got a fake dz09 too . It doesn't boot or charge. I mean. It does charge. But when it's on portable battery it keeps disconnecting and connecting. I have a electricity meter. When I put it in the battery pins, when the portable battery starts charging it gives for half a second a wave of electricity. Help?
