somehow my sd card got wiped and now i cant even use my phone. is there any way i can get the rom back to my sd card?
my phone is rooted
if i have a card reader copy the rom you are using to the sd card the boot into ravs recovery image wipe data and flashing the rom again
I used the NVflash root method from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1125714, but when I tried to update CWM from v3.0.2.8 to v3.1.0.1 it can't mount the sdcard. Every solution I've seen says that you need to format the sdcard but I can't format it using Windows because it views it as a media device and I can't format it from CWM because it needs to mount it to format it. Any ideas on how I can get it working? Or should I try flashing roms by another method?
Pic shows all the different things I've tried and the messages that it produced.
take a micro sd card and put it in
go into recovery and go down to advanced
repartition the micro sd card
reboot
put what evere you want to flash in the micro sd card and flash
take your sdcard out and use SD Formatter 3.0 to format it. Now try re-flash the new CWM.

I repartitioned it but now I can't add anything to it. The TF can't find the card and my computer can't read it.
I formatted it, it worked. Now to get it to stop aborting the roms I'm trying to install. Thanks guys
I tried to follow this nice guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1045018
my Basics: original 1.2 nook color (using with SD CM7)
1) put a 8 GB SanDisk Class4 MicroSD in a card reader
2) format it with Panasonic SD Formatter
3) burned the "1gb_clockwork-3.2.0.1-eyeballer.img" on the SD using win32diskimager-RELEASE-0.1-r15-win32 (also tried win32diskimager-RELEASE-0.3-r27-binary)
4) copied phiremod-nook-v7-TEST-DualbootSD-CWM-package.zip on the SD card
5) put it in back into the nook and it booted into CWM
6) installed zip from SD and reboot
Result: some tries it just boot into CWM again (with SD inside) and sometimes it boots into Stock rom.
What did I do wrong or missunderstood?
Thanks!
1. The link shown setup dual-boot for uSD card, not on eMMC
2. As long as you left the CwM uSD card inside the NC and boot it, it will and should ALWAYS boot into CwM Recovery.
so what i need to change to put the Rom un my uSD card?
What did I do wrong?
So apparently, it is possible to boot an GS3/GS4 directly from an external SD card, if you have a valid ARM-arch kernel written to the card.
The question is:
Would it be possible to boot a custom recovery plus ROM from the external SD card for GS4 Verizon/ATT users, whose internal bootloaders are locked down?
This would require getting a blank SD card and writing a suitable ARM kernel to the card using an appropriate utility (Linux dd for example).
Any ideas?
1.My sd card not work with recovery. I change 4-5 custom roms, alway not work. Only work after boot system. Why? On other phone in twrp recovery working.
My phone i9506 and latest twrp rooted
2. Always with install system with aroma, my recovery is transpratent and i don't see clear all information and options during install custom rom with aroma, not background with aroma.. On my S3 Neo, never transpartent background. How to fix this?
